Khan Sainen

Khan's eyes drifted open slowly as he fought back a pounding headache. He was sure he hadn't really been hit that hard, even if getting caught by such an obvious feint was probably the most shameful and costly mistake of his short life as a Jedi thus far. But judging by the way his head was swimming and the fact that he had no idea where he was, maybe he'd been drugged? They were going to be captured before Khan passed out! That much came back to the Echani Padawan rather quickly and made him freeze in place and try to keep feigning unconsciousness as he assessed his situation.

Khan didn't have his lightsaber, which made sense since only incompetents would have left any of them properly armed. He also had no idea how long he'd been kept unconscious for after he'd been knocked senseless by that one Sith Lizard. There were guards in the room although Khan couldn't get the full details for everyone without moving his head too obviously to keep up the charade that he wasn't yet awake. How many were there though, and could he take them on unarmed? The young Echani figured that he could fight maybe two guards at once depending on how well trained they were but any more than that would mean risking serious injuries.

Wait, wait...there was definitely someone here besides another prisoner and the guards. An unknown voice, female, warning his fellow captive not to try anything. Khan should act shouldn't he? Maybe together they could fight the guards off fast enough to make a break for it! If nothing else shouldn't he at least try, attempt to prevent the guards from taking another prisoner away?

That's what the padawan normally would have thought, what he normally would've done unquestioningly, but now his body wouldn't move. He hated to admit it, even privately to himself, but his defeat at the hands of that Trandoshan had shaken his confidence badly. Even as a Jedi, even as a warrior, he wasn't entirely without fear anymore.

So he just stayed there, frozen, trying to pretend he was still only half-conscious.
Are there any characters who might have been in Sapporo and/or would know Kazuo beforehand?
i think Hirohiko(?) would.

He would, for sure.
I mean, Hirohiko's from Sapporo too.

I'm not sure he'd be very good at fights, other than just surviving fights undamaged at which he excels.
Regardless, s'been a neat time applying with everyone and seeing so many good ideas.

I too was a big fan of KHR!

I'd discuss potential interactions but I have no idea whether I'll be in the RP!

Had one other idea for a character if this doesn't work out.

Archer

Archer saw that his shot had struck one of her shoulders, though amazingly she had once again avoided a fatal blow. There was even more to it. In that brief instant before she'd been hit, Archer sensed a powerful Divine Influence emanating from the woman. She had tried to affect him with Divine power, not knowing that such power flowed equally through him, strong enough to negate her attempt. Well, she had simply been outclassed and outmaneuvered whether through fate or circumstance. As she soared up through the clouds he noted she launched her spear upward and began dropping down again.

Was she wounded more gravely than I thought? My arrow's been removed, perhaps she freed her arm to treat her wound? Well,
no matter. I'll end this now. A shame, I was beginning to truly enjoy this Grail War.

He grimly nocked two more arrows, deciding he would pierce her heart and-

then Lancer burst through the clouds unarmed and forced the clouds apart, expression determined and seemingly unafraid in the face of his mortal blow as her features were briefly silhouetted by the moon above. The sight of her framed by moonlight forced the image of another fearless woman into his mind's eye, and in that instant his heart softened.

Protection From Arrows: A+

Without needing to look away, he sensed it. A projectile driven by hostile intent moving through the air. It dragged his attention back to the battle at hand. In a way that transcended sight or conscious thought, he could follow its intended path toward him and react. Clever of her, to mimic his own power in order to try and kill him. Perhaps even praiseworthy. But she still couldn't match the limits of his art. As he released both arrows, one would unerringly curve to intercept the magically guided spear in order to knock it from the air. The other one though, he would try to curve away from the heart-shot he had intended, to strike her uninjured shoulder instead.

The other enemy Servants have withdrawn for now as well. Even if I leave her with two injured shoulders, she shouldn't be picked off just yet, while it gives me time to retreat.

Out loud he told her none of that, instead giving her a sincere grin and mock salute.

"Feel no shame in being outclassed! For your skill and bravery, I offer you your life! Take it as a one-time gift from the King of Archers!"

Archer

Dialogue Styling Red | Thought Styling Red Italics

Archer was suitably impressed by not only Lancer's speed, but her resourcefulness. As her polearm sailed toward him thanks to a preternaturally powerful throw it was easy enough for the floating warrior to simply dip aside of the weapon's path on an eddy of wind as he continued onward and away, though the evasion did slow his retreat as she'd hoped. More interesting was the fiery display she'd used to destroy his arrows, by the looks of it some kind of writing-based magic. She possessed quite a versatile skill, it seemed. As her axe-headed spear disappeared from his peripheral vision, Archer nocked three arrows to his bowstring, preparing for her renewed attack against him. She leaped not directly at him as she'd done before, but high into the cloud cover, perhaps counting on that to conceal her from view for a surprise attack.

Clairvoyance: B

However, she was mistaken if she thought simple clouds were enough to conceal her from the eyes of a true archer! Though he feigned confusion, looking wildly about for her and occasionally twisting his bow about as if searching for a target, he kept her firmly in his peripheral vision at all times. When he saw the brief fraction of a moment where her momentum changed and reversed, Archer's path suddenly curved aside in a sharp roll and he drew back and released all three arrows. One of the missiles drove straight forward as the others curved sharply into a pincer pattern from above and below, meaning to converge where he judged she would be and strike from three different angles.

"Don't underestimate a marksman's eyes or else your speed will only bring you to the underworld more quickly!"

Lancer was astoundingly fast, it was true, perhaps even a bit faster than the wind on which Archer rode. But so long as his keen eyesight enabled him to aim where she was going to be instead of where she was, he could still strike her no matter her speed.

He was confident he could avoid another falcon-like dive. Ride The Wind seemed to be more maneuverable than her own technique if his eyes judged rightly. On the other hand, he was no longer certain he could defeat the warrior woman through direct battle without using his true strength.

A shame to kill off one so interesting so early on, though I shan't be picky! But if I can only slip away and survive, I should still have something interesting to report to my lunatic Master. it's really been some time since I had this much excitement..."
