She slithered over to the man in an inhuman position. She tasted the air around him. She inhaled deeply, and hissed in delight. "If you don't eat him, I'll do ssso. I haven't eaten in a bit, and ssssomething whole is appealing..." she hissed as she stared at him with hungry cold eyes. Then she stood up, into an indifferent attitude. "...If I was a damned cannibal. What is this? The Cretaceous period? I think not." and she went over to a dead body. She scavenged a protein bar from him. She ripped the wrapper and ate the bar whole. "Besides, Kronos, we need to get moving. Earliar I promised you a fight, and now you have three whole years to spend with a former cop turned mutant forest guide." She looked at the bounty hunter. "We could bring him with us, but I'm going to check him for beacons and walky-talkies. And I mean a full body cavity search." and she pulled gloves out of a pouch on her side.

"With pleasure." and she jumped up and tossed, pulling the pin as it left her hand. It flew at the bus like a cannon ball. It entered the window and stayed in. "Yesss! I w-" BOOOOM! and the bus parts went flying. She blinked unresponsively. "That had more kick than I thought..."

Copperhead let out a laugh that was more of a hiss. "If I loose, I have to accompany you for three years. I win, and you have to be my companion for the same amount of time." and she looked at the bus. She turned back and smiled coyly. "Agreed?"

The Game. The Game is what a long dead powerful entity made in order to find the next World Watcher, which basically this entity's mere presence deters monsters and demons from attempting to destroy or conquer our world. The first World Watcher made an entirely separate dimension to host the game and made sure the contestants would be able to truly be tested and the champion survive. The world is a dark interpretation of our on current one, and the beings that roam there are dangerous and frightful. The entire world is separated into ten kingdoms, each controlled by one of the "bosses" of them. Modern gamers can think of this as the ten levels of the game. The competitors each come from the elite players of different games we play today.
