It's not that hard really, hun. Personally I think fighting against NPCs for your first experience is easiest because you can make mistakes and it doesn't hurt anyone. PvP situations, even sparing, can get sticky though because no one likes having their PC look like a fool or lose oddly. Personally, I don't mind having Vellios lose as long as we take turns allowing our PCs to win off and on. Even a vet gets unlucky once in a while.

Does Dex has any combative abilities btw?

With NPC's I can imagine there's a level of control you have and are also responsible for making it a believable balanced fight. I'm not overly worried I just want to see how things work before I contribute.

For Dex she has military-grade training in combat, she's decent and can hold her own but not any kind of expert. I've stated before she has a mean left hook. Bzzt bzzt. But seriously, she's not a highly skilled fighter by any means, all her experience lies within piloting and infiltration whereas for both the less action you saw the better.

She owns a shotgun in case they get too close and a sniper rifle to make sure they don't get too close.
I volunteer Dex as Tribute, for fuel. @Fallenreaper

I think it's best Mirage takes the lead on Omega, whereas each group has at least one person who is Omega savvy enough at least not to get lost or can take direction from Mirage. Annnnnnd is also savvy enough not to get ripped off by a merchant upselling.

I'll honestly say I'm going to hang back a bit on the first combat scenes to watch how you guys handle it. Once I have a good idea of how to write them I'll jump in head first. I do personally like writing fight scenes and action but in an collaborative setting it's something new. I'll ask Dervs for help but on the same token heads up yo.

So glad Dex is a pilot, now we can die when we crash in space and no one can hear us screaming, hahaa.

Yeeee of little faith, we're going to burn up in the atmosphere first.

Silly u~
<Snipped quote by DearTrickster>

Hahaa, we all would be screwed if you did that. Vellios would likely be going behind her back and patching everyone up again!

Yeah, she was going to be a university dropout, compulsive liar, and ridiculously clueless. She would probably have done more harm than good

Alex is not a surgeon, but she knows enough about wounds to keep the majorly injured alive until they reach a hospital...hopefully.

When I first was thinking about a character my first idea was a semi hilariously incompetent medic. Lmao
At least until they get paid and actually start working. Then the jobs can support the ship's fuel and food.
Tonka's actually pretty well off in the money department, he didn't have much to buy for the over a century of working for a good company, and he is pulling in a retirement fund from said company, so he has a pretty cozy income that he's absolutely not telling anyone about.

As for the vorcha, they're levo by default, but as Bright pointed out, their biology allows them to go through one major metamorphosis in their lives to adapt to new and often extreme environments that would kill other species, but it's generally one of those things where their bodies can only change once in their lives to such an extent.

As a side note, you guys are going to be the ones planning and organizing the attack and all the fucking around on Omega to keep our ship running, so have fun. ;D

Dex has a pretty large savings account after years of working for her fave info broker. Though she will do her due diligence for pitching in but will demand for things like food and fuel bill that it's split 16 ways. Everybody needs to eat and everybody needs to support their money making ship.

forum.bioware.com/topic/319407-dextrol.. I don't know how accurate this guy's science is, but I do know that food and nutrients are a lot more complicated than one would think. I imagine that it's just hard to create non-Earth sentient species, since it's so heavily dependent upon the environment they evolve in.

The thread is an interesting read, the writers did their best to cover their bases when created new species. I can only imagine what will be waiting for us in Andromeda :>.

Considering humans have been isolated while Asari, Turian, Krogan and others have been in close range with one another or at least interacting, you think they would have similar biological needs. OR have a food made that they all could eat without issues.

Right though? As massive and expansive the games were some details are maddeningly skipped.

Vellios is not trusting anyone but Kasy, when he realizes who she is, to cook his meals. So, he'll likely use what little credits he's got and grab a bit to eat while he's out. It's a lot less dangerous really compared to Tonka's cooking it sounds like!

Dex had some take out before she left and she has her ~secret~ snack compartment.

For Asari I assume levo as well, but I think certain aspects of that don't pose the same problem for them as it would for others.

I would assume that too since it wasn't distinctly pointed out. The games just presented it as that everybody was levo except when the note was made in regards to our dear Turians and Quarians. Which is weird I think but could probably find it in the codex.
