Hey, would you mind giving an example of a trait for us? That part is throwing me off, since it sounds like another type of name for skills or strengths.

It's a lot simpler than you're making it. Think like a special power granted by becoming a ranger. Like in dinothunder, or spd. Don't over think it. This isn't a necessary thing I just thought it was a cool point that a lot of ranger incarnations has.

Specifics examples include: Ethan's scales in dinothunder, or jack's phasing in spd.

Like I said this isn't necessary, I just thought it was cool. And also a unique traitor doesn't have to be a physical thing. But that is something that separates it from a normal skill or strength.

So @Lost Cause decided that the position of Red was a bit too much pressure, so after a little discussion we decided to swap around so she is now taking Pink and I'm taking Red. Hope that's okay, and will try to get to work on this character soon-ish.

I don't mind who is what. If somebody worries over pressure of being red I will help lol, although he won't be leading first hand or stuff like that my character will be at your disposal as support from the command center/ship until he joins the fray in the field so worry not friends. And I'm shooting for tonight

Wow, that sucks. He asked some questions and seemed genuinely interested in being Red. A shame he suddenly can't do this anymore. Hope he finds some way of fulfilling that nostalgia itch.

Okay so, for reasons explained in a Pm which shall not be divulged @iVirgin has decided to bow out of the RP. For this reason the red ranger position will be open should @Lost Cause wish to take it up. Otherwise, I will still be working on the OOC. As for the template, since you have been so helpful to me @SoleAccord I'll put it here. You guys can get started, and i'll try to get the OOC up asap. Some things are no brainers. Some I want you to put your best into. Have fun.

A description are not necessary, however, there are things any one face claim cannot convey by itself. So, things such as height, weight, birthmarks, tattoos, scars, etc. should be considered and described so that we have a better idea of you're characters appearance in full.

Dislikes: Everybody has stuff they dislike.
Strengths: Okay I feel I shouldn't have to explain this, but you know. As a person, as a ranger, what makes you valuable to the team. These are not powers.
Weaknesses: Again... Even though we're technically superheroes, we are power rangers, we are human. So yeah that stuff applies, but what about you is different. Fears, trauma, etc.
Skills: Unlike strengths, which may occasionally be talent or instinctive or things that cannot be practiced such as experience, etc. Skills are things you might be able to do others can't. Specific martial arts, automotive skills, computer or other scientific skills. Obviously, being a teengager you're not gonna be like a pro in very many areas, or a master, or whatever else.
Unique trait: Each ranger, for the RP, as it has been in various other incarnations of the rangers will have a unique trait. What is yours?
Personality: For some, this is tough. So, while I won't make it optional, I'll give you the chance to keep it short and sweet. A list of traits, or a couple sentences.
History: Alright, this is the big one. Maybe you don't have a full backstory. Maybe you don't want to give every little detail. No everyone will be childhood friends or even know each other. Not everyone will have been in Angel Grove for all their lives. What is your story?
Other: Did I forget something you think should be including. Make your own little category following this point. Otherwise, may the power protect you.

woo, lot to catch up on. but in general Re: Kamen Rider and everything related I fucking love it and watch it religiously, highly recommend to all toku fans, would love to be part of a good rider RP some day

I'll add it to my extensively long list of stuff too watch. Anywho guys, I should have an ooc up sometime either Friday or Saturday. I won't give a time or say tomorrow/today for right now because timzones. But for me it's technically Friday, 1:42am. Imma sleep. And hopefully have some kind of concrete lore and ooc post for you guys. Start thinking about the basics of your characters, as once I get the ooc up I'll be adding in the character sheet. Haven't made it yet, but you know lol.

Side note, if there is anything that you think should be added to the ooc or the cs, please suggest now as it'll be easier to fit everything in altogether rather than edit over and over.

Otherwise, you guys are all great. I'm looking forward to roleplaying with everyone and imma do my best to be a proper and reliable gm for you.

Well, if all else fails, we do need a Bulk and Skull stand-in. That is definitely something we're lacking at the moment.

I don't think we really need them. Like in some mediums the characters are used well and fun like in the Boom! Studios comic run where they have there whole podcast and whatever. But if it's just throw away characters for comic relief and slapstick I think I'd rather settle for some organic humor at the right points. Even if it also includes awkward or slightly silly points here and there.

OK, let me at least try and smooth things over.

I am not angry with anyone about this, or indeed do I put any blame on anyone at all. The problem was me neglecting to follow the thread closely enough, coupled with the fact I was offline when most of the serious movement happened. I'd rather not see people giving up their chance to be a part of this RP just so I can be involved, nor do I want the whole thing shaken up just to try and accommodate me. Because really demanding that people radically alter an RP or indeed any project to suit one person is quite frankly one of the most selfish things you can do in any creative endeavour.

So while I will definitely be following the game and hope that everyone involved enjoys it, that's why I'm stepping back into the shadows.

Well if you're sure. But feel free to watch, stick around and all that good stuff. I offered the more supporting role because my character, zordon'a son, probably won't be stepping into battle for some time. So even if I have alpha I wouldn't have minded another helping hand in the ship/command center.

@Lost Cause Fuck I knew it! But I do have a plan. Like sole pointed out, you could still play a more supportive role with us. On the off chance a ranger died, or simply quick (or if something comes up and somebody has to leave the rp) you could take up the mantle of said ranger. I mean it's up to you. You could still join. It's my bad. I must have overlooked your prior message when I responding between classes.

Spoke to sole first as he/she have been helpful in my planning throughout the thread and then addressed the rest of you.

Also, I wouldn't mind making a new color but I feel too many players for me gets cluttered. And I lose track of stuff and what not.

Additionally, I spoke with M, and he wouldn't mind. Also loves green and likes the idea of playing evil since he never gets to do it. Even if he has to wait for a bit. So I made sure he doesn't mind before posting here.

If you use Goldar first, I'd hold back on Rita and Zedd facing them. They're the types to send monsters for 50 episodes before doing anything themselves lol.

Green Ranger is brought in for irony. What better to beat a ranger than another ranger?

Yeah But I figure if goldar comes with even a small putty battalion there is a higher chance of Zedd and Rita being freed. Having been sealed so long they would probably be in a weakened state. Probably flee to the moon. Start resting up, and start sending monsters and so our story begins.

This is all kind of circumstantial given we haven't even started it, but do you think this would be a good outline to at east use as a sort of map to beginning or story?

Furthermore, what docthe rest of you think?
