Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

I played Battlefield 4 and watched Holes. I probably could have went to the bar, but yeah. This town lolnope.
I'd confess something, but I honestly am drawing blanks. Either I am well adjusted, forgot anything interesting, or I'm boring. Maybe all of the above.

All in all, I liked that short essay of yours, mdk. I personally never really worried about being anonymus, I usually stick to my screen name 'cause I tend to like functioning in my online groups and screen names are far more fun and easy to remember than real names.
Minor point, though, is an online handle can still be a form of anonymity because your online persona isn't necessarily who you are in real life. Being faceless kind of gives you more wiggleroom.
