Current Remember, nobody actually enjoys roleplaying if there isn't at least five shameful fetishes uncovered by the 2nd page.

Somebody stole my mood ring. I don't know how to feel about it.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

So, a team of players who are good at playing as a team in a team-based game are individually bad players. Seems kind of silly when you put it like that, no?

My goal these days is to have an RP that can actually finish, or the very least, last a few years. I see way too many die on page one to take chances

The coolest fact I know (should probably say I am Ugandan) is that on my Mum's side are relations to the Royal Family of Buganda (Province in Uganda). So theoretically if I wait long enough and a lot of people die I could be King of Buganda.

Better start hiring some very discrete hitmen. XD

Anyways, on my dad's side I'm primarily German with the occasional Irish thrown in there and French that goes back to the earliest days of the colonies in Canada. My grandmother's maiden name was Des Islets, which means 'Of the Islands', which was a very common surname (or it's many variants) for immigrants from France who were coming to start over and settle the New World. Someone on my dad's side of the family was pretty damn meticulous in keeping track of the family tree, so I know with a pretty solid deal of certainty where my family's from part way through the 1800s onwards. A particular point of interest was that somewhere in my grandmother's line, a Des Islets married a Frontenac, which may mean I am distantly related to Count Frontenac, a very famous and predominant governor of Quebec who was something of a badass. I have no way to confirm this past the coincidence of name and the fact that both families came from around the Quebec city region. If that's the case, it probably accounts for a great deal of my stubbornness. The lineage attached to my surname is German, and most of my German ancestors came from a region called Alsace-Lorianne around the turn of the century up to about 1910ish, back when it was under German control and before the Great War. Pretty sure they settled around Toronto/ Kitchener and my family's primarily been located in South Ontario ever since.

My mom's side I know far less about, I'm pretty sure it's mostly Scottish, although there's probably a good chance of Irish and English in there, too. No clue when they all immigrated over here, or generally where they're all from, it's kind of an enigma to me.

Which is who though?

We should do a role call. I know there's quite a few of us, just can't remember everyone. Nargle's an hour away from me, Brovo (even though he doesn't come around Spam) is from Edmonton, Nexerus is from Saskatoon, you're from Hippieisland, and all that stuff. I'm not sure who all is from the US side of the border, but given how close Banff is to the border, I think it's feasible.

Yeah it's pretty nice. I live a skip and a hop from Lake Sacandaga and during the summer it's great!

During the winter... not so much.Fall's my favorite time of year though. All of the summer campers leave, and the weather's perfect, then the leaves start to change, and hunting season starts.

I want to like fall more, but more often than not, it never stops raining and it's over way too fast. It's just the impending asshole winter that starts late October/ early November here.

Back home, I was never more than a 20 minute drive from a good lake, so that's definitely something I miss a lot. Turns out Alberta doesn't believe in lakes, and most of the things that Albertans call lakes are glorified puddles and bogs.
Robocop honestly looks abysmal to me via the trailers, and having watched the original a couple times, I can already tell they shit on everything that made that movie great.

Then they have the stupid stylistic choices of having the bare hand (which in the original, was blown off rather graphically by a shotgun) and then the fucking black armour. Really? REALLY?

Tick, I plan on seeing the Lego Movie tonight or tomorrow because the trailers promise actors I really like and the stupid humour I seem to enjoy despite having an above average IQ. Will let you know!

For Beta and Vakte (I seriously can't read that without immediately thinking 'Bac-T', is is a kind of sample I do at work. >_>), I actually was rather fond of the whole shit hitting the fan distress signal on a ship that was being attacked due to Blood Pack and our errand nerve gas cannisters. Maybe mister turian and krogan were both taking up assignments on one of those ships and know each other that way and it can set the two of them off for some crazy fun action right off the hop, as well as a chance for their two characters to build a relationship of sorts as well as establishment before hopping into the game?

I went to NC and was promptly asked where I came from since I didn't have a drawl. Of course I was then looked at as a city person for the same reason, even though I'm up here in the Adirondacks in a town so small that we don't even have a post office, and I have a fucking forest in my backyard.

I was watching a documentary about the Adirondacks a couple years back, I couldn't get over how beautiful it is. It reminds me of Ontario cottage country.

Well, the snow here’s fairly hard, so we literally can’t get the door open even though there isn’t much blocking it.

Just fuckin' ram it and then shovel it immediately. Last thing you want is that all turning into ice and making life a slippery, miserable concussion arena.
