Current Remember, nobody actually enjoys roleplaying if there isn't at least five shameful fetishes uncovered by the 2nd page.

Somebody stole my mood ring. I don't know how to feel about it.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

So, a team of players who are good at playing as a team in a team-based game are individually bad players. Seems kind of silly when you put it like that, no?

My goal these days is to have an RP that can actually finish, or the very least, last a few years. I see way too many die on page one to take chances

Trolololol

Honestly, guys. Why are you taking this seriously?
Man, I really want to post but I am super friggin' stuck with Mosis being AWOL.

Oh well, time to work on my C-Sec spin off.

It was a special chat room called the Arena on Horseland.com. You just described what your character, a horse, was doing. They could normally talk to one another. But everyone used an obnoxious number of fancy words, majorly abusing the synonyms function. Daggers for hooves, crest for head, etc. it was like its own special code.I don't know, man. Horseland was weird.

Thug life represent! I find that very amusing. :D

Sort of like the rats of NIMH meet Pinky and the Brain?

Exactly, only with a bit more variety. Throw in some Rise of the Planet of the Apes and you pretty much have what I had in mind.

Like a hamster that thinks he's General Patton.

I would assume an anthropomorphized horse which does horsey things. Probably in a herd or something. Idk, it's been over 20 years since I wanted to pretend to be an animal.

I actually had a goofy idea for an RP a while ago about a bunch of lab animals that escaped and think they're people and plot to overthrow humanity. Emphasis on goofy.

Look at Tabletop, the structured environment seems to be creating some very cool things.e: Free is cool, and reminds me of chat room RPs

I will have to browse it at some point, the concept is certainly appealing!

But agreed, Free always reminded me of chatroom RPs, which I was never very good at.
Haha, how does one RP as a horse, exactly?

Woah.

13 year old me was not a good writer haha.
Certainly not shitting all over free, Aragorn. I just have never been able to RP like that. Back on ye olde forum I started RPing on back in 2001, I always tried to write paragraphs even though most of my "ideas" were blatant rip offs of movies and games and what have you. The plots were generally made up as you go, no sheets or GMs, and because it was a tight community we never had problems or real standards. I didn't even realize anywhere actually organized RPs like this site does. One thing I do miss from that site was how since it was a fan forum for a game, all the RPs typically were in a persistent world. It was pretty neat.

I personally need a few paragraphs per posts to feel like I'm actually contributing anything meaningful and conversations are usually collaborated. Like idle said, I go at it like collaborative story telling verses a game. I like to leave something I can go back and read and have others enjoy my writing.

I Doveinto casual on this site first thing to figure out where I fit in best. I was actually pretty surprised my posts started to dwarf a lot of other players. I hadn't RPed in like 6 years, and I never did creative writing. I thought I'd be way behind most people. A major reason I got out of RPing on the old site was because everyone went from writing paragraphs a few times a night to constantly doing onr liners like a chat room. Unless I was online for the wholeevening, I ccouldn't keep up. When you literally have over 100 posts to catch up on a night, you aren't going to last.
Free RPs having a plot is usually like finding a unicorn. I am honestly kind of baffled how some of those games can go on for a long while when there's literally no established plot and the players wing the whole thing half a sentence at a time.
