Current Remember, nobody actually enjoys roleplaying if there isn't at least five shameful fetishes uncovered by the 2nd page.

Somebody stole my mood ring. I don't know how to feel about it.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

So, a team of players who are good at playing as a team in a team-based game are individually bad players. Seems kind of silly when you put it like that, no?

My goal these days is to have an RP that can actually finish, or the very least, last a few years. I see way too many die on page one to take chances

my ass is full

o bby.

I haven't felt the urge to watch an awards show for... oh god, I can't remember the last time I watched one. I just don't see the appeal of watching people hand out trophies to people.
The only time I ever swam competitively was when I was a sperm.

The stakes were never so high.
I'm really on the fence about it. I WANT to love it, but I can't justify the monthly fee for how much I can see myself playing it. It's part of the reasons I actually liked Guild Wars 2 (which I greatly enjoyed, even though I only hit level 40 since the last time I played) where I don't feel obligated to play a lot to get my money's worth. Plus, despite my expectations, I actually really like the combat in GW2. It's a hell of a lot more punchy than ESO.

War is for fools. That is all.

Except for all the ones that aren't. I don't know about you, but if someone's invading my country and my family and friends are at risk of being killed or otherwise brutalized, then I'd be a fool not to fight. Plus, everyone's favorite real life comic book villains the Nazis didn't defeat themselves. It's one thing to disagree with and dislike war, but it's quite another to think that many aren't the best solution when the alternative is much, much worse.

Last place I want to be is in a black hole.

You wouldn't even realize you were in one by the time you're within the event horizon. You'd probably die of a bunch of other (unpleasant) ways before it started tearing you apart.

I mean Antarctica seems pleasant.

I physically can't get away from cold today. That is the last place I'd want to be.

1. The war lasted more than twice that long.2. The Republic of Georgia was not defeated. There was no change of sovereign borders, only de facto Russian occupation of a portion of Georgian territory. Unlike the conflict in neighbouring Azerbaijan about fifteen years before the Russo-Georgian war, which ended in universal compliance to the , the situation in Georgia remains actively in dispute. The United States had no duty to defend Georgian territory. Russian occupation of Ukraine, on the other hand, is in violation of the treaty under which Ukraine transferred its nuclear stockpile to the Russian Federation (the ). While Ukraine isn't a NATO power, Poland and Lithuania are, and Russia is making military movements in Kaliningrad (a Russian exclave bordering both countries) similar to those made near Ukraine prior to the occupation of Crimea.

Thank you for the corrections, it's hard to fact check on a work break on a phone, although in the case of how long the Georgia conflict lasted, being off by 4 days is fairly trivial, all considered. As for that treaty, I admit I have never heard of it, but I still don't think it's going to draw the West into war over Ukraine.

As for the mobilization near Polish and Lithuanian borders, also news to me as I haven't checked on what's been happening for a couple days. Now that's an interesting development, although I have my doubts Russia would be that bold, given that would provoke a NATO military response.

Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how this pans out.

Well, it was a joke reffering to the events in Ukraine. But yeah, there's news all over the internet that the US and China will protect Ukraine. Ukraine is a member of NATO if I'm not mistaken, so the US will help. And China too. Idk why China would, but the news articles are talking about it.

Funny, because most of the news I am reading says that NATO isn't obligated to assist (also, the Ukraine is not a NATO member. Don't know where that came from) and the US has been emphasizing that military action is not on the table. As for China, China usually sides with Russia (for instance, the whole Arab Spring thing) and while there's a lot of historically bad blood between them, I don't see China taking interest. This whole thing is Georgia all over again. I sincerely hope that people didn't forget about that.

No one said anything about Ukraine in this thread. It's just a little joke that has nothing to do with real life events. Unless Breljorn was talking about it in some weird code that I'm oblivious to.

Because current events has caused a lot of people online to be talking about turning the World War series into a trilogy the past few days. The internet's favorite past time is overreacting to everything.
