Current Remember, nobody actually enjoys roleplaying if there isn't at least five shameful fetishes uncovered by the 2nd page.

Somebody stole my mood ring. I don't know how to feel about it.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

So, a team of players who are good at playing as a team in a team-based game are individually bad players. Seems kind of silly when you put it like that, no?

My goal these days is to have an RP that can actually finish, or the very least, last a few years. I see way too many die on page one to take chances

I feel like I should remember Much Music but I'm coming up empty on that name.

It was kind of like Canadian MTV, only it was, at one point, less trashy.

I've heard that's since changed.

...You're my hero.

My first CD was Chumbawumba's Tubthumping. Just because I liked that one song.

This was an entire genre? The 90s were... an odd time. To be fair, I do know about half those names. Then again, my taste in music isn't considered stellar by a lot of people, so I can't criticise.

If by genre, you mean pop, then yes, yes indeed.

Whenever people complain about (_)'s decade of music being total shit need to remember that there's always great music being made, and what's popular now doesn't mean what's going to stand the test of time. I hear a lot of songs I grew up with on the radio now that were absolutely fantastic that I think will be played and enjoyed for decades because they're fantastic.

People from my parent's generation with all the 60s and 70s rock always say that our music sucks now adays, but they have classic rock radio stations to point to that showcases all of the best of what they grew up with. I'm sure if we went back in time and turned on the radio then we'd be completely baffled at how anyone liked most of that shit. I kind of want to give my parents a flash drive with a bunch of the best songs from my library to listen to, just to show them 'Hey, look, awesome music happens these days, too.'

Agreed. Something about alcoholism, domestic abuse, and consistent racism does that to one's career. Of course, him being a monumental prick makes him perfect to play Salmond... "Passion of the Sausage Roll" would definitely be more ridiculous than Iron Sky. I can see it now.

Can this be a thing? Let's make it a thing.
Halo said I was deeply unsure whether to click "play" once I saw "I am so sorry". I was right to be afraid.

Welcome to Much Music, certa mid-90s. It shared notable screen time with other big names like the Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, the Bloodhound Gang, and Aqua.

There's probably a reason that most of those names mean nothing at all to anyone who grew up in the 2000s.

Yet we are always the ones who get scolded at for website smut.Mods need to check themselves.

Before they wreck themselves, or something.

Still, a few people here have a history of posting some pretty 'nope' images that probably made Spam earn the magnifying glass of mod scrutiny. Dolphin tits and flying dick helicopters come to mind.

I think a large part of the problem is that a lot of furries almost to be judged and ostracised. They view themselves as outcasts and set themselves up in insular communities based around something they know alienates most people, then they wear it as a badge of honour and shove it into people's faces. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm in no way saying all furries are like this, I've known a few during my time on the web and for the most part they've been lovely people, but there are a vocal minority who seem to get a kick out of peoples' negative reactions and actively seek to make a bad name for furries as a whole - just like trolls get a kick out of being hated and ostracised. It's like those guys who made the MLP porn of the character that was meant to represent the disabled boy - that shit was just to troll and alienate people.Agreed fully. Both in regards to the "" and Rasputin as a name.

Yeah, I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. People who feel socially outcasted tend to empower themselves with stuff that's not socially normal and then get really loud and obnoxious about throwing it in people's faces to show how different and independent they are and blah blah blah.

In that sense, the deviant furries are like the goth kids who pretend they're vampires or the militant atheist neckbeards.

I feel like we're writing a thesis on social studies.

I am actually having a hard time believing that you assumed I could forget that.

I can't look at your Thrawn avatar without this song playing on repeat in my head.

I am so sorry.

There's actually a site I don't really frequent all that much any more where you're pretty much coming across a People's Democratic Socialist Federal Republican Sultanate of Wherever every second thread or so.

Sounds like Nationstates. It's fun until you start getting the same questions repeated at you and you're pretty much just trying to maintain whatever image your country is going for.

With Mel Gibson playing Alex Salmond, of course. There are probably even more ridiculous political films out there, though.

I can't imagine he's too busy, these days. I think we should start making some calls and make us a movie that's somehow more ridiculous than Iron Sky.

Exactly.Besides, I'm more interested in furry characters being CHARACTERS, not meaty fuckpuppets or lit up with more garish colors than the 1980s, like most furry characters are unfortunately. At this point, it's really not a matter of whether your characters are humans or elves or furries or ponies or hedgehogs. To me, it's about how the character's portrayed, not what they are.

Yeah, I think a lot of the stigma comes from people who kind of make a lifestyle around it or something like that. Plus, the porn.

Drevish you have it wrong, Craglist has rules in place to keep it less like 1x1.

I take it you're an expert on Craigslist, then. I hope your run-ins with hairy, obese truckers was minimal.

I don't think a fan drawn picture exists of Gardevoir that doesn't have tits.

It's a fucking plant, for fuck's sake.

I aim to please, but the bar for how hard i try is set low, but not as low as 1x1 sets it's bar for reasonable context.

Holy shit, you're actually on a roll today.
