Current I think I'm Advanced+ level and could do that. But under Adv, I feel compelled to write a certain way and it makes writing feel more like a chore even if it's just in my head. Thus, I prefer Casual

Many people equate "Advanced" to "Big, high effort posts with lots of flowery language." It's a habitual thought I struggle to shake as an RPer with 20+ years of writing experience. It's very draining

Greetings! I was just reading this over from Fell's invitation and the fact that a couple of slots have gone unclaimed as of yet seems pretty much perfect for me. After all, my main Digimon character typically has an Agumon as a partner, which can end at the Omnimon level (although I usually stop at WarGreymon/ShineGreymon since I am often absent one Gabumon). I have a question, though. Would it be possible if I modified the Omnimon part a bit? I was thinking that perhaps his Omnimon form could be weakened to the same level as the other Royal Knights (essentially crafting that second of three forms that you mention in the original post)...but it is his Omnimon X form (which he would get at a later point, whenever you would want him to normally receive his Knight Item) that has the Omni/Omega Inforce capabilities and is stronger? Either way, I'd love to jump in with my characters if it's not too late. xD
Just to let you know, it'll be a bit before I can get a reply up. I've got a bit of extra work that needs to be done lately, as the semester is coming into its last month or so. But I'll do it as soon as I can~
Well, for the two newcomers who might not be able to get into the RP, another Digimon RP could perhaps be started elsewhere if you wanted to give it a shot. You know for sure that you'll have at the very least one person interested. xP Or, if you're interested in this alternative, I could be more than happy to try to do a one on one with you. Digimon RP's are a rare sight and I'd like to be able to keep the interest in the topic alive. xD

If Rin is able to complete her character by Saturday, then might it be safe to possibly set a deadline for characters? I don't mean to be pushy, but I am a bit concerned at the lack of progress on a couple of these characters after so many days. Perhaps if we don't have seven Tamer and Digimon partner character pairs filled out, we could make it a first come, first served kind of deal? We don't necessarily have to have the deadline be Saturday of course, and could give people a couple days extra time, but...well I mean, is it really doing anybody any good if somebody is claiming the spot, but then not really producing a character when there are people who could already have a character ready to go?
I hope Rin is still available for this. If she were, then we would have six characters and would only need one more person to double with a female character and we'd be good to go~ =} Unless Rin's tamer would be female. Then the next gender probably wouldn't matter.
Yeah, I'm definitely still in it~ =} So my two characters are still ready to go!

And yeah, I'm all for you jumping in, Dark. And the character looks good to me...though I'm not the OP, so. xD

And yes...it was quite an adventure, wasn't it? xD Especially considering that yesterday was the day I was able to try to catch up on everything I was falling behind on.
Right, thanks for that. xD But still, I'm always terrified of taking things one step too far. And as a result of that, I have developed a tendency to let my characters get beaten a lot in combat (and if I'm honest, I have found myself enjoying the submissive/weaker side just as much as the stronger side xD).

Heheh...okay, I'll try to make it more challenging for you and Meats at the very least. xD My main issue with something like that is that since I want to give my opponent a chance to react to each step of my attack, I tend to just do Part 1 of the move...but then they do something that would render the rest of the move impossible, like moving a good distance away. So I've always had a hard time finding that perfect balance between just letting them do their thing or just doing something of my own all at once.
Auron clutched his arm, still uttering his loud, pained cry. His verdant eye cast off to the side, looking behind him at his opponent. He was completely vulnerable and he was sure that the demon knew it. But still, he did not flinch. In fact, he bit his sharp teeth into his tongue to try to force himself to ignore the pain shooting through his own arm. He also forced himself not to look at his injury. Instead, he cast his gaze upward and behind him as much as his head's joints would allow and he watched his foe stand overhead, readying the dagger for a final blow. He gazed up at the demon ready to end his life, showing as little fear as he could manage. If he was going to lose this fight and die, it was going to be with him screaming in pain. He was going to die like a true draconic warrior.

However, regardless of his lack of flinching, his end didn't come. Instead, the demon stopped his blade just an inch from his neck before withdrawing it. At first, Auron was simply confused. What was this thing doing? When it grabbed the blade that was still embedded in the tree, however, he realized what was going on and his eyes widened slightly. Did this...beast have some kind of sense of honor? It was clearly not simply sparing him. It faced him, eyeing him as though daring him to stand back up and continue fighting. Well, he was not about to let himself get scared off because of one little arm injury. In fact, he had almost forgotten completely about the intense pain shooting through his arm...and when it came back to his mind, he had to bite his tongue again to stop himself from crying out. He could not refuse a challenge like this...his personal pride and honor were at stake. Even if he was going to lose and die here anyway, he was not about to abandon his ways.

Auron struggled to his feet, dropping his large blade and gripping his arm to support it and prevent the injury from becoming even worse. Once he was back on his feet, however, he gritted his teeth and prepared for another surge of pain. Immediately, as though ripping off an old scale from his body, he shoved his arm upward, right back into the pit of its socket just like he had been taught in field medical aid lessons in years past. The pain that shot through his arm was astronomically worse than when it had first been removed, but at least he had been able to return it into its proper place without damaging much of the surrounding tissue...at least as far as he could tell. It was miraculous to say the least, but it worked. The pain stopped over a short amount of time and he felt comfortable letting the arm go. He then reached down and grasped the handle of the blade, testing his arm to make sure that it could still support such a large amount of weight on its own. Thankfully, he didn't feel any kind of tugging at his elbow. He could still use it to fight, it seemed.

However, Auron knew that for a while it could pop out more easily. He had to give it time to properly rest and regain its sturdiness. So then it was perhaps for the best if he switched to a two-handed style, like the sword was originally made for if he could help it. He would be able to use it single-handed easily enough...but too much strain could cause it to fall out of socket once more. He would need to use single-handed swordplay as scarcely as possible and never to block any powerful hits. His right arm was now a major weakness that could be potentially exploited. He would have to really guard his right side when dealing with this demon. With that in mind, the dragon gripped the hilt with his second arm and brought it upward, turning to face his foe and continue the battle. He wordlessly stared the armored demon down, thinking about what his next move could possibly be....
Alright, I think we've probably spent enough time waiting. I like the characters we have...and I guess we should probably just dismiss Charak if that profile is not getting done anytime soon.

We've got five human characters now if we exclude Charak's. So then unless we get Lost Cause to post a character, I could triple, and/or the others could make a new character if you really want us to have seven characters.

Otherwise, I'd like to get this thing underway again. I always love Digimon RP's since they're very rare and I'd hate to see one with such potential die out.
Awesome~ Greetings, Pacifista! Welcome to the team. xP

Yeah, Charak's Character Sheet is supposedly still a work in progress, but it has been for a couple of days now that I think about it. If that doesn't get finished sometime in the near future, it may be for the best to simply...move on.
Really, I don't care either way. Rin, you certainly do have a point about jumping through hoops to get it to work. xD But I also don't want to shoo anyne away who could possibly have a unique character idea for RP's such as this. Of course, there would have to be some kind of restrictions if we allow it, like them needing to both Digivolve at the same time if they Digivolve at all, requiring twice the energy or something like that. Or perhaps their are linked together in some way.

I personally don't have a problem with two Digimon...but I do agree that it has to be properly justified. Two Digimon that naturally go together would be the easiest way...but I think that if there were some canonical way to do it, it would work.

...Although, here's an alternate suggestion. Charak could actually double? Charak could create a second human character, related to the first one, and have the Digimon go together like that? I would like to double myself with my two characters if I can (and it would probably help fill in the character requirement slots if we're not going to get anyone else interested)...if it's okay with everybody, of course. Particularly Fell, since Fell's the OP. xD
