The mutant bit... I'm not sure if it was decided to be cannon or not, but apparently during the Brotherhood's expansion to the east there was a crashed vertibird in the midwest-ish area... They apparently accepted even super mutants into their ranks because they were so few in numbers... (was reading the fallout wiki's brotherhood article when I read that bit)

It was a airship the BoS refurbished to send out in an effort to find more of the old Master's Army and take them out. But it crashed and outside Chicago. It killed the original commander and the new guy stepped in and liberalized who could join his chapter and the Brotherhood.

My two votes settle for green or blue.Personally, I like green because we get to see Chicago, which is were the original Eastern Chapter of BoS crash. However this also is the area of the game Fallout: Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel (iirc) both games I don't personally consider Fallout canon because they just throw everything upside down (Much like Fallout 3, but it wasn't so... poorly done imo).

Actually, Fallout: Tactics is more canon than BoS. Tactics is more regularly referenced in Fallout 3, though the full canon of the game is unknown. It is known there's another chapter of the Brotherhood there, they have a unique mutant problem, and we can discern that because of this being noted the original Brotherhood of Steel did send a detachment in a blimp out that way after the Master's defeat.

Brotherhood of Steel is completely decanonized because not even the people at the studio liked it. One developer says he keeps a copy in his desk, not as a reminder that it was good, but to remind him not to make that game again. Brotherhood of Steel is totally non-canon.

And BoS was in Texas anyways.
I wouldn't say the independent Tibet is something that has happened, given as Fisheye admitted hasn't happened given he hadn't applied in the old thread. For America: since I didn't mention anything in the OP about it it'll be easy to clear that away.

True enough though I'd imagine they'd be more legends and story books by now. I always figured the Mariposa Super Mutants who still wander around were stragglers when the Vats went boom. Without a specific anchor, they'd have either come back West or continued East surely.

Or settled down like at Jacobstown.

There's a few very intelligent mutants in the first generation bunch. Like for Jacobstown they may have settled down somewhere in the Sierra Nevada maybe, or in some ruins and spend their time herding other lost mutants towards them. With civilization sprouting up in Nevada too there's a possibility that the intelligent muties may see signs that threaten them and move out, taking who they can.

If Jacobstown isn't steamrolled by robots, Marcus could have just as well took everyone out and away at a sign of trouble. He's not a character who would want it.

So is this RP still open to new blood? If so I'll need some time to get up to speed.

I don't think I've ever known "Always accepting" to mean something opposite.

I'm also gonna vote Green. The relatively stable settlements up North have probably never even heard of a Super Mutant. If Scrap is going to change the Wasteland's opinions of them, best to start with a clean slate.

Given the Master's army dispersed across the Wasteland it's likely they would have.

And what's the fate of the Great Khans? I don't think I read anything about them. Always liked the idea of the Khans setting up their own thing in the northern plains. Be, well... A Khanate.
If ya'll go Green you'll be getting close to Evan and I.

That is before things go in directions and he and can execute fun shit.

Right-o.

Dunno how many are interested in the political field of RP'ing, but I offer single-character alternatives if you can muster the creativity to make a story with just a general state of the world. In any case, I inherited an RP from a friend and I looked into whipping it into shape, and I'm seeing how far I can get with it before it dies and I can clear it off my active list.

Name of Nation: The Islamic Empire of Saudi Arabia. (IESA)Territories: Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Kuwait. Aka the whole Middle Eastern Peninsula. Background: When World War 3 Hit Saudi Arabia knew that the other countries surrounding it would ask for protection. As a result Saudi Arabia made a deal with them. If they became territories of Saudi Arabia then they would protect them. All but Oman and Kuwait agreed. Saudi Arabia then proceeded to conquer Kuwait by force showing an example of them. They executed the leader of Kuwait and exiled all of his relatives to wander through the sand. With that Oman agreed to join the IESA as they where scared the same was going to happen to them. This brought major alarm from other Islamic countries including Iran, Egypt, Iraq, and Israel. The IESA promised to not attack the other countries if they promised to give 50 percent of all there resources to the IESA which all except Israel did. Israel attacked the IESA and failed horribly as all the missiles where shot down. The IESA marched armies and killed 5% of the Israeli population telling them if they did this again they would die.The First Emperor of Saudi Arabia was crowned in a month later. His name is Yaseen bin Roohul Qudus. This man raised Saudi Arabia up to a super power which scared even the mighty Germany. Germany forged an Alliance with the IESA and they traded Goods and tech. The IESA is supplying Germany with troops to fight the other European countries. The IESA is the first Caliphate in over 1000 years. (Caliphate is Islamic Empire)Other: They have the same flag as Saudi Now except it is red and has a Hammer and Sickle on all for corners.

Couple things:

1: Saudi Arabia only applies because the kings of Arabia now are of the House of Saud and someone new taking the crown would change the name from Saudi Arabia to Yaseeni/Yaseenid Arabia/Calpihate.

2: In name, we already have a Caliphate in modern times. Perhaps you heard of ISIS/ISIL. They have the most recent claim to a Caliphate, even if it's not "legit" by medieval Muslim standards. It's still one in claim and title.

3: Not only have you claimed more territory than I allow, but in the way that I hold to be the most bullshit way possible.

4: Do you even into Communism.

So no. You failed.

I also got the area on hold for a friend of mine, since he for the most part helped write it. It'd be more than presumptive to chop up the region and his claim - Iran - before he gets here.
And I go to work on a post still. The rest of you carry on as you are.

On an irrelevant note, would it be kosher to plug something here or would you be mad, Atomic?
