On a scale of one to Hugs how unlikely is it?
You never pointed that out first thing. And come to think of it: nor are you OP. Henceforth: your authority doesn't mean much and by this point it's been written over by some many agreeing parties it doesn't matter. You're just getting too pissy at something too far gone.

Why not enjoy nightmare Oklahoma and be done with it.

Wong needs to remember to sign out of his RPG account. Kek.

Multiple pullies does not fix the diabolical construction of this kill-trap, since pullies ultimately do not stop the spin of the spool or the spring locks should someone slip. And if they're all feeding to the same thing then it stands to reason for the safety mechanisms to work everyone needs to be travelling at the same rate, or the lowest and most athletic person needs to not be far behind. Then everyone needs to descend to get the proper descent to work.

I fucking work on this shit and I even sent your posts to friends of mine to get their confirmation of the safety, and they all said it wouldn't pass anything.

But frankly, these blood sports are fun.

The answer to that is holoforms. Basically, they can create tangible holograms that they can use to interact with humans. With that, they could stay in their vehicular form attempting to keep disguises, as they have been doing. This also allows them to conserve energy as they don't have to move around as much. So basically they interact with holograms that look like them as humans (I've searched it up and can give you pics if you want) and only fight when absolutely needed (if someone's life is on the line). Now the Decepticon will be the only problem, seeing as they're less big on the whole disguise thing. Also, they could have depleted Energon levels, which would increase their need to search the area and find more, as well as cause them to think twice about fighting.Or I could recall the characters and use a more human-sized transformer. Someone like Bumblebee or Frenzy/Rumble, or even Wheelie.

I don't think the issue is size. I don't know what you're reading, or if I'm just shit at trying to get the point across. Rather it's how "magic" (ie spell-casting and related phenomenons) from different worlds can translate into this world.

Input from OP and his/her mod would be good. Since this should really be something to consider for future applications and they need to be a part of this discussion.

Standing tall above the students was a massive wooden construct with synthetic stones speckled across the surface of the wall. It was quite obvious what the first challenge would be as the 20 harnesses on each side of the rock climbing wall were already set up. Though what was odd was the fact that they all fed to one spool. The PE instructor eventually emerged, yet she likely wasn't the one Saoirse was thinking of, as this instructor appeared to be a girl, and much more agreeable than the image Saoirse had painted. "Good after-afternoon everyone! I'll be your challenge instructor, Mrs. Ebels, but Mrs. E works just fine." She nods with a smile, affirming herself flamboyantly, "I think most of you know what today's Challenge will be. Some might have even noticed the twist. It's rock climbing, except you all lead to one bell and you all are attached to one spool. Here's a special rule for ya: No punching. No kicking. No biting. You can push people off the walls, don't worry, the spool system has a maximum speed of 2 miles per hour, so you'll fall safely. Everything else is simple; climb, and ring the bell before the opposing team does. Boys versus girls. 20 on each side. Have at it."

Safety mechanisms only work when they're on independent spools of rope in this instance and not all sharing the same one. They'll only fire when everyone is on the same level. So if someone's much slower than the rest and someone pushes the other off then it's a long drop with a quick stop. If there was ever a gallows for the spine more deadly needed, we're at a start here. And even if they're multiple pullies hooked up that doesn't mean shit: a pulley isn't a spool, a pulley is a weight-bearing mechanism to lift and allow rope and line to be pulled over a irregular route (up, over, and down again) while reducing the total weight of the end-object. They do nothing to alleviate the spring tension or counter-balances.

This whole thing would have been avoided if you just simply stated "rock climbing wall". But no one else ever intervened or made the point earlier. Really, your inaction on the matter really spelled the doom here by letting not one, not two, but three parties add, confirm, and build off of this. It's pretty sloppy work on your part.

And it's just as likely that there can be multiple coaches. So there may always be a male or female coach if you're getting pissy about that.
Can't say besides Fallout and the new MGS I'm waiting for any other titles. Must be because I'm getting old at 23 so I just don't care about what your chitlins' be doin'. So long as the TF2 servers stay live.

Though, I'd say The Witcher: Wild Hunt. But I think that might as well be out already. And I'm still playing through The Witcher. But all the same: mighty impressive that I'm waiting for the newest title in a series I just started to come out while I'm still on the first in the series. But as I work my way through enjoying hacking shit up as Geralt from game 1 I'm amusing myself with the OST for the third.

Soon.

Maybe I should look into the stories the games are based off of. I'd say the TV show but I doubt they've been translated from Polish yet.

Pretty sure Lucy'd still have her magic; as long as the Tenrou Tree (the main source of her magic) is still standing back in her universe. Perhaps I could make her magic much more limited due to her being in a different area, and very much far from Fiore and Tenrou Island. Let's say her maximum amount of magic would be 175, and every time she uses a gold key, she would use about 30 of that amount, and every time she uses a silver key, she would use 5 of that amount since silver keys don't really use as much magic power. If she were open multiple gates such as two of her golden keys and keep them open for 30 minutes, every minute of keeping the gate open she can lose 1 of her magic ability. (2 gates= 60 magic, 30 minutes= 30 magic; 175-90= 85 magic left) And so on and so forth. In the manga, I've seen Lucy be able to open about 5 to 6 golden gates before she lost most of her magic. So I kinda cut her ability of opening gates to a half. Suggestions if you feel the need to?? ^^"

Frankly, even if the world your character is from has multiple dimensions then I'm still in favor of this being so separated from the rest one's access to their native magic is cut.

Not to say we won't have it. But if OP gives a green light I might as well propose the valley have what's left of whoever was there leave behind some trinkets that act in a way as an access to someone's "native" magic. Whether that be locally borrowing someone's native rules (limited access to your tree, limited access to whatever dimension the Warhammer guy draws from) or giving them only this world's magic based on its rules until they manage to go home.

I'd leverage this on what I said earlier that in the case of many of these character's there are other parties - other characters or factions - with similar or counter-measures to that power written in; usually such a thing being the end-goal in mind for writing the story. And when you mesh them all into the same world in a clusterfuck fashion then it skewers whatever potential balance there was in the source material.

This is something to be weighed against the nature of technology based capabilities and magic based abilities. Or if the valley as a whole dampens everything not associated with someone's basic abilities (ie: if you're super human you're now regular human). But this would be unfair to our Transformer types (and difficult: how basic can a massive robot become when they're whole species' purpose is to turn into things?)
