650,000 people for such a large area isn't that much of a big deal really. It's just really under populated. There would have been entire regions of the world in the middle ages that are just as big and just as under-populated. Geographically for Deepwood it would benefit them given that Risen ran off the previous notes that all the southern borders are shielded by mountains, which for advancing armies would make expansion south-ward very difficult. It would have made a significant enough natural shield that an underpopulated region could be very well defended against some more organized states.

As well, heavily forested regions don't tend to loan well to large populations, since all things considered the trees could be the only thing holding the soil intact and there's not a lot of nutrient turn over there so agriculture may not be that great. But even if the rains aren't a problem washing the top-soil away then it's a simple matter of there being too much work to simply clear the land, or cultural ideology on the protection of the forest.

I wonder what was in that post before it was, presumably, edited to just 'A'.

A weird application for some Scottish-Irish independent state that was force to flee to Madagascar. So now they're presumably independent there. It was clear he didn't make any effort to learn.

Interested! Please, tell me where in the map the rainforest is ( I wonder is the ir in the south of the desert of the eastern continent) and wether you are still accepting people and I'll submit my kingdom.I promise I will make out of the jungle a scary, dangerous place.

We're still accepting. And I imagine it'd be there too, somewhere along the equator. Or the eastern coast of the western continent.

If you're going Aztec or Mayan - judging by your avatar - then I'd like to point out it looks like most coastal regions are dominated by pseudo-Europeans. Particularly in the north.

I dunno, it seems raw. What does a militant elf carry? anything special about their weapons or fighting tactics? how have they remained so isolated in the center of a continent for so long? Where do the majority live? What kind of crimes are rampant? Just basic stuff to make the reader feel more intimate with the creation.

You also just named a lot of stuff a lot of other people here tend to leave out or forget. Or over generalize.
And knowing Risen I can vouch for him, if that means anything.
I decided on curiosity that before I begin work on my next post I would go in and look at the length of all the posts in the thread so far, compile a words-thus-far total, and then average it out for words per post. This isn't anything practical or to say anything against anyone. Just merely a bit of curiosity. So, on that:

FIRST PAGE
First post: 1941 words
Second post, 440 words
Third post: 1584 words
Fourth post: 1645
Fifth post: 2,387
Sixth post: 1127 words
Seventh post: 1079

Average words per post: 1261.6 (1335.5*)

(*Totals reached when pasted into word counter as a whole and not compiled in a table post-by-post)

The longest post in the thread thus far was written by myself at 2,402 words. The shortest by good Feigling.

Anything in spoilers did not go to the total words counted, because I wasn't going to click around extra for a couple hundred words. So average and total is accurate within roughly a hundred words or two.

Skipped out on C to go hit up D.
Hahahaha.

No.
I believe we are.
Depending on country and how "in the sphere" they are with someone else. There's not much globalization so technology is bound to be very wonky between a couple "Great Power" states with the best toys and everyone else with "everything else not that".
