Again, I don't care enough to get into the details. All I see is people looting businesses and causing unnecessary damage to the community.

This is also Missouri. It's not like they're going to make off with anything that's not already left anyways. The state - and the St Louis area - is long passed its golden days with the railroad having gone with the wind.

Just because you believe your right, doesn't mean your actually right

To be right or wrong is a purely subjective thing. You could examine every possible fact, grand or small, and still not come to a conclusion any one action is better than the other or anymore "correct". To assume this matter has moral absolutes just dillutes the Hell out of it.

On one side you have Missouri law over whether or not you can shoot someone if they could very possible be armed. For all the officer knew Brown was armed and in any one of the scenarios revealed by eyewitness testimony there was a chance he was reaching for a weapon to shoot the officer. You then have the matter than he did assault the officer, though this in itself would not be grounds to shoot him. However the assumption that he would be armed provided enough grounds for there to be action.

On the other side we have a dead 18 year old who we now know was not armed, and could have acted differently to change the course of action (however he was dumb enough to not). This also acts as a platform to discuss Missouri's self-defense laws (which I haven't seen anyone do) and police militarization (which I've only see other police debates discuss actually).

In the end it came down to a sample of the local population to make a unanimous decision on the Brown case provided the pages of forensic and physical evidence and hours of often conflicting witness testimony. In the end, it was this body that elected to give a pass on the case and not pass an indictment on which to charge the officer. Because to that end: he was acting inside the law.

The unfortunate thing about this case if that it's become too political. And too political for very possibly the wrong reason and on the wrong subject. And now it's blown up.

Therefore, it is bullshit and should be swept aside so we can try to argue about something new while keeping our head on straight.
Will post when I manage to write a post for Precipice of War.

Leaders Name: This will be your leader, can also be main character
Location:
Gang Name:
Special Units (Now this is the interesting part, these are the units only you have): (< I don't even think the Mafia gets this well organized as to have a Seal Team 6)
Hideout Description:
Notable People:
Main Import: (< Gangs do not have economies. Therefore they do not import.)
Main Export: (< Gangs do not have economies. Therefore they do not export. At the loosest definition they're more a business which'd make "export" more "produce" with its own input and throughput. But in many cases gangs are more a social club with some maybe side-dabblings in money-making schemes which may or may not involve the production of anything.)
Leaders Appearance: (< You really could have adjusted the position of this and the next one down)
Leaders Personality:
Crest: (< I don't think I've ever run across a gang with a formal branding outside of motorcycle gangs)
History:
So how long until this finally stops being news so we can get back to >rape on the news?

Inb4 So Boerd.OT: Being human and therefore vulnerable to inherent bias and racist attitudes when confronted with social issues such as these, I naturally don't buy the cop's story---but that's mostly due to the fact that I wasn't there when the entire thing went down. Saw the viral video where Michael Brown decided to have his way with that mini-mart or whatever, so it's hard (if not downright impossible) for me to defend him.I'm more angry with how the folks down there have decided to burn and loot stores and homes indiscriminately (which is disrespectful to the humble wishes of the Brown family, whom called for peaceful protests), which is going to have socioeconomic consequences in the near future. Aside from white flight, you're going to witness 'store flight' when entire swathes of local business departs Ferguson en masse. Goodbye jobs, goodbye spenders and hello being broke.Extreme poverty will ensue, moving out of the town will become impossible and the cycle of crime, violence and ignorance will drive on.This'll only get worse as 2043 draws closer. I'll be prepared by then though.

The St. Louis area is already dead in much the same way Detroit here went dead. It lost its main economic crutch a long-time ago, that being the railway.

Shit already died there. It'll bubble and turn into a pocket of low income nonsense for a decade or two until it straightens out and folk start trickling back for whatever reason. But as it stands, St Louis is in the same boat as us here around Detroit, just a lot quieter. And St Louis dropped all its people a lot faster and a lot earlier. This is not to mention Ferguson - and the St Louis area - has already lost all their wealthy major business operating white people. It's not starting, it's already happened.

Welcome to the ghetto, we got fun and games. Leave yo sneakers at the door but don't expect to find them later.

Yup.

And glad to have read your post. Your crime arch looks like it'll be interesting. Like a better version of what I once tried to do something about a year or more ago. This involving someone clubbing people to death with large vacuum tubes.
I should probably get to writing a post.

EDIT - As a minor correction Byrd, I'd like to toss in China has only really traded weapons out with those it considers allies, usually those who ended up in the former ASB or the current Third International. And in those cases it's usually been "last year's model", although the CP1960 hasn't been updated in fuck-a-long time so it's stopped being relevant to that rule. The only exception to the Chinese rule in so far has been the Ethiopians.

If we're rolling on the presumption the US was briefly a member of the Chinese socialist club and then left for unexplored reasons in this new vision of the US then it's likely anything sold to them as surplus likely stopped coming the moment they left the International (at around that time enough people were pissy at the US for their annexation of the Cascade territories they were going into a trial of sorts). So they'd be dumped back into having to provide for their own.

I just wanted to throw that out since I noticed that in your post. I'll have to read it in earnest in a moment.
I'll need to reboot my posting cycle soon. So I'll get to it. In the meantime I need to figure out how to pace myself out in this. I don't want to rip through everything I want to do too early because then I'll have a very lackluster adventure ahead, and thus make it very hard for me to even post.

I'll get to it. What needs to happen though is for all of us to go beat on Chapa.
