Ichika Uchiha“Peace earned through communication is just and true, but without the strong to protect those who would shepherd in such an age... Everything will be lost. Power is absolute.”
_______________________________________________
Ichika had to forcibly reel herself in as Hideo had proceeded to refer to the vastly inferior in rank Tenshi with appropriate honorifics, despite having neglected to do so for Mizuraki and herself. Without her realising at first, the Uchiha's Dōjutsu had sprung to life in a moment of well contained outrage. Emotional stimuli often caused this among even skilled users of the Sharingan such as Ichika. With very few more words being said, Hideo took off. Blazing through the woodland at considerable speed, though it was certainly not a breakneck pace. The Anbu operative performed the feat casually, as any of their rank should be able to. Ichika had been the first to follow, almost instinctively springing to action with her subordinates closely in tow.

"Team, enter Vee formation. Tomoyuki, stay as close to me as you can. If we're somehow ambushed I want you to be as close to the fray as possible. Yue, Natsuo; keep your eyes and ears peeled for any threats that may come to us from the flanks." She did not take time to ensure that those in her charge had done as told, trusting in them. Nor did she expect any form of confrontation, particularly not this close to the Leaf. But in her vast experience, Ichika had found that exercising caution, even where entirely unnecessary was a virtue. 'Better to have been and not needed to have, than needed to and not have'. As she would always say.

After a brief period of travel, throughout which Ichika had spent much time suspiciously observing Hideo and pondering over what he had meant with his words, the group arrived at their destination. Had Seiji really been stunting her career's progress? After all the loyalty and fealty she had shown him? Such doubts had to be set aside for later, she could not currently afford the distraction. For now, taking note of Hideo's words Ichika silently indicated to her team to go and mingle as had been suggested. Perhaps early introduction to outsiders could prove beneficial to the young Shinobi. "Go, but be wary. I have your backs should any foul play occur." Ichika stated, under her breath so as to prevent Hideo and the Kumo-nin from hearing.

Approaching both Hideo and the Kumo Jōnin, Ichika remained utterly silent. Her footsteps seemingly mimicking her demeanour. A cold glare struck across her face, and to anyone who didn't know the woman it would seem that she was staring down the Kumo-nin. But the reality was far from it, her eyes were fixed on Hideo, all the while keeping the children within her peripheral vision. The Jōnin from Kumogakure was but a mere afterthought to the Uchiha. Her crimson armour and ebony black mane which stretched all the way to her bottom certainly set her apart from the average Leaf Shinobi.

ICHIKA UCHIHA

"I must say I do find it rather peculiar that I do not recognise you, given that you are clearly a member of the ANBU. You do not have to be concerned for Mizuraki's ability as a shinobi. She's one of the best I know. Nevertheless, it is a pleasure indeed." Ichika retorted, keeping her voice low as she strafed beside the mysterious ANBU operative, so as to prevent any of the others from hearing.

With a faint nod to Hideo, Ichika turned to face the team of genin that she had been assigned. Her Sharingan whirled to life as the Uchiha Jounin began utilising her dojutsu to assess the chakra profiles of those she would be leading. Ichika thought this necessary in order to make it easier to formulate attack plans on the fly.

Yue Nara. Quiet and reserved, possessing both water and fire chakra natures is a particularly unique combination. Especially among genin. With the hiden techniques of both the Nara and Yamanaka clans at her disposal, she is likely to be the team's most valuable and versatile asset. Though, I must admit she has some childish tendencies which I must iron out of her if we are to be successful.

Tomoyuki, an excellent swordsman with a unique style if his file is anything to be believed. Wind and earth natures typical of Suna natives. There is another monstrous chakra dwelling within him, and I detect a sealing jutsu on his person the likes I have never seen before. This is indicative that it is true after all. They have assigned me a damned Jinchuriki. This may prove highly problematic. Though he appears disciplined enough in his mannerisms, and will be the easiest for me to impart my knowledge upon; I must keep a close eye on him. I will not allow another Bijuu to rampage within the leaf. Though if it came to it, I'm not sure I could bring myself to kill him. He is but a child after all.

Natsuo Aburame. A lightning and earth release user, who allegedly combines this techniques with the insects that his clan is known for. The boy, though he seems physically weak and according to his file lacks any form of prowess in close ranged combat; Natsuo shall be absolutely instrumental in moulding the team into a cohesive unit, due to his skillset and apparent demeanor. A glue of sorts.

Allowing her Sharingan to fade away, her eyes reverting back to the cold black that most Uchiha irises were; Ichika sauntered towards Hideo. Gesturing for the children in her charge to follow suit. Her stride a portrait of femiminity, despite her armoured figure. "Team Ichika is at your disposal, Hideo. " Noting his deliberate exclusion of honorifics, Ichika responded in kind. The Uchiha would be lying if she claimed that she had not felt disrespected by the ANBU agent's mannerisms.
Are you guys still taking applications, by chance?

Yeeeeee
Name: Zyko 'Moram

Rank: Special Operations Officer (Ranger)

Species: Sangheili

Age: 30(2527)

Appearance: Particularly young for his station, Zyk bears very few battle scars, in fact were it not from the excessively charred tissue on back of his hands and fingers, clearly indicative of plasma burns from the overheating commonly associated with his weapons of choice. He is always found clad in his jet black Infiltration Harness. Which has been modified to incorporate a jet pack.

Skills: Nimble on his feet and possessing ineffable reflexes, Zyk has honed his talents in a hit and run fighting style. Being able to out manoeuvre and riddle his enemies with bursts of plasma, before closing the gap with his jet pack to finish his opponent up close. Additionally, he is a relatively talented Banshee pilot, and is more than capable of cracking and decrypting Covenant-tech such as locks and general user interfaces.

Preferred Weapons/Equipment: Twin Type-25 Directed Energy Rifles/Jiralhanae variants. Type-1 Energy Sword.

Background:

Born in the early months of 2527, Zyko 'Moramee; known to his peers simply as Zyk was proven to be headstrong and... unique among those his age. He was not one for the proud traditions and mannerisms of the Sangheili race, and was often berated for his behaviour; it wasn't until he enlisted in the Covenant military and earned his stripes as an Elite Minor that his wild tendencies began to leave the forefront of his persona. Somewhat gaining the ability of restraint.

For years he served, gradually climbing the ranks and becoming a specialist in air assault, among the Rangers. His first engagement as part of such a unit would be during the cleansing of Reach, an engagement of which he would establish his prowess in hit and run tactics, he had his devastating UNSC supply lines. It was admidst the Human-Covenant war that he was assigned to the Special Operations. Not long after this however, the Great Schism occured, a conflict of which Zyk spent most of at the forefront of battle against the Jiralhanae, often alongside Human ODSTs. It was during this period of time that the young Sanghelii developed his penchant for what the humans called a "gung-ho" attitude and classic western stylings; in addition to Jiralhanae weaponry, finding their more power based approach far more pleasant.

Peace time had proven troublesome for Zyk, as all he believed himself to be useful for was as a combat tool. It was due to this fact that he became part of a crew which was tasked with dealing with Jiralhanae insurgents and holdouts. Before being reassigned to Aegis.
Heya Elite, its mme agaib. Been browsing for a new RP to join and I came across this. Mind if I join?

Akira Senju

-------------------------------------------------------------------

A week had gone by since graduation, and Akira had received a letter the evening proor informing him of his reassignment from Ichika Uchiha's Team 5, to Takayuki Mekakushi's Team 2. The young Senju boy pondered whether this revelation would bode well or not. But none of that currently mattered to Akira. What mattered was that today was the day that the would be future Hokage of Konoha was to meet his Jounin instructor. "I wonder what kind of man he is?" he said aloud as he wandered the streets of his native village. Cutting through the crowds with a fluidity one would not expect from a boy of his age. Leaving little disturbance among the leaf's populace as he eventually found his way to the exterior of Takayuki-sensei's apartment.

"Well, this is it!" Akira vibrantly declared, desperately attempting to hype himself up. After a few tense moments, which had felt like an eternity to the white haired ten year old; Akira pushed open the door, to be instantly pelted in the face by what had apparently been a rigged shuriken, made specifically out of wood to avoid injuries. Nevertheless, the shock of the unexpected impact forced Akira to promptly fall to his buttocks, rubbing his headband up and down to soothe the pain.
Almost instantaneously the Jounin had moved to check upin his student, almost fussing over the young boy as he aided him to his feet.

"Welcome, Welcome! You're Senju-kun, correct? I'm so glad to meet you! I do hope my little joke there didn't hurt too badly! Come in, come in, follow me! You're the first one to arrive!" Takayuki said, his tone warm and welcoming; shortly thereafter he began to guide his new pupil through what was soon to be revealed to be a labyrinth of assorted traps of a similar fashion to the one Akira had fallen victim to. So I'm already being tested...this doesn't look good. the Senju thought as he become lost in his thoughts and absolutely mesmerised by the intricacies of the network of traps his instructor had laid out; he was completely unaware that he had been passed an apple, which he had begun to eat.

"Please, Takayuki-sensei call me Akira."
ICHIKA UCHIHA]MIZURAKI SENJU

Ichika had been waiting at the entrance of Konoha for quite some time as she had arrived significantly ahead of schedule; as she usually would. The recent revelation that the Uchiha would be joining Mizuraki Senju and the boy from Kumogakure on a mission with an undisclosed objective. Ichika brushed aside a thick lock of her ebony hair and recalled the events of the Nine-Tails' assault on the village, and how that had been the first time she had encountered Mizu, and from that day; Ichika had held a sincere respect for the Senju clan. Due almost entirely to the bravery the brunette had displayed.

One by one, the various students whom had been assigned to the mission began to arrive, a particular individual eventually showed up, one who had caught Ichika's eye in the academy quite some time ago. Yue Nara. This was shaping out to become quite the interesting affair.

Last night had almost felt like an alcohol fueled dream...After all Mizuraki? Leading a squadron into battle? Of genin no less! she was a fighter...And a healer but a leader? That, was something she was sure she would never be able to be. It still didn't feel real, surely Seiiji knew what a terrible plan that would be, so why would he do it. Like it or not Mizuraki had to accept her orders but it certainly didn't stop her from drinking the responsibility away...The idea of leading children into battle never sat right with the Senju woman, not after the horrors she witnessed during the third war.

Regardless of her feelings on the matter the morning still arrived and Mizuraki opened her tired eyes. "Mmnm..." she let out a soft sound before shaking her head and trying to deal with the threat of an oncoming hangover. The Jounin rose from her bed and rubbed at her tired eyes before the realization had hit her like a sack of concrete. "I'M LATE!". Mizuraki stumbled out of her bed and quickly got dressed to approach the gates, she probably looked like an utter mess, but that's nothing some primpng wouldn't fix. "I'm late anyway, might as well look presentable I guess."

Affter her primping was done and her gear was collected. Mizuraki made her way to the gates with a slightly terse expression on her face, the Senju woman was lost in thought, about the mission...About the secrecy surrounding the objective. Something wasn't right about all of this and she could feel it in her gut. Mizuraki was brought out of her thoughts when she saw a familiar face as well as the genin around the gate. Her squad and the Uchiha's own. Mizuraki stopped but before she acknowledged her squad of Genin...A warm smile broke out onto her face as she raised her hand to wave it at Ichika. "Ichi-Chaaan. Long time no see. How've you been?[/color\"

Had it been anybody else using that nickname but Mizuraki, Ichika may well have sneered in disgust and become highly conversationally combative from that point onwards. However, it was the Senju clan's very own socialite that had done so, and because of that she allowed it to slide. Only her brother Rukito ever, ever called her that. However, the Uchiha had certainly heard the Senju woman refer to others as worse. On more than one occasion, the pale skinned woman, who had been stood leaning against a tree for the better part of forty minutes before Mizuraki's arrival; had heard Mizu refer to the Lord Hokage as 'Seiji-kun'.

Clad in her signature crimson armour, the colour palette of Ichika's garments bore a stark contrast to those of the woodland behind her, jet black underclothes with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Revealing snow white skin set beneath the blood red metal plate of her tengu plate. Ichika took pause before responding to her acquaintance, momentarily seeming to dismiss the woman. "I am well, Mizuraki-san. Thank you for asking, although unsurprisingly I do believe feel better than you currently appear... You look as though you have barely awoken." She had said with a smirk. Truth be told, Ichika believed that Mizuraki Senju was a being of particular beauty among the village, though she understood that was a fairly common opinion. Even still, this did not prevent the Uchihs from poking fun back at the one whom she had fought alongside during the Nine-Tails attack.

Mizuraki had to do her best to stifle her yawn, it felt like she easily could have slept about...Seven more hours? give or take a couple more. The nerves inside of her were practically buzzing as she started to realize just what was going to happen today. Leading a squadron of genin, a squadron under her own command, into a mission and trying to bring them out alive. It felt like the war all over again, but she refused to let history repeat itself, NO ONE was going to die on her watch. Never again. Her greeting for Ichika was almost met with dismissal and if she hadn't interacted at all with the woman beforehand? she would feel offended but she knew it was just her way. Although when Ichika had ended up calling her out for barely being awake the poor woman's eyes widened as she began to laugh and rub the back of her head. "Haha...Hah...Nothing gets past you huh, Ichi-Chan?" she pursed her lips a little bit and brought her hand up to her chin, prompting a brief smirk to appear on the Uchiha's face as more of the Genin began to gather at the rendezvous point. "Still though is it that obvious? I thought I mostly hid the baggy eyes." she mostly murmured that last part while running her fingers underneath her eyels.

The Senju woman turned around and looked towards the two squads of Genin. One of them her own and the other belonging to Ichika, it was always sobering to see young ninja. It was like looking into a mirror. She smiled towards the group and lifted up her hand. "Mizuraki Senju. I'm going to be looking after you lot for today...Don't worry I know what I'm doing. At least that's what everyone tells me." she said with a smile still clear on her face. Her smile held a naive charm to it, she truly believed what she was saying. "OH." "Ichi-Chan. I wasn't the last one here right?" She was desperately hoping that she wasn't dead last...Oh gods the embarrassment.

After Mizuraki had finished her introduction to the children, Ichika surveyed the surrounding ninja; accounting for all of them as they finished their arrivals. "Not quite, although I would have preferred it had you arrived a tad sooner." She responded, before also turning her attention to the Genin whom had mustered before them. "And I am Ichika Uchiha. Yue, Natsuo and Tomoyuki. The three of you shall be under my command, this may be your first operation, but I expect nothing but the best from you. Nonsense and tomfoolery of any kind, and by extention failure will not be tolerated. Do I make myself clear?" Ichika suddenly barked, issuing orders to those in her charge in a significantly colder, harsher tone than her compatriot had done so. The Uchiha had lead teams before of course, but never one compromising of Genin fresh out of the academy. The abyssal black eyes of the woman seemed to stare into the very souls of her subordinates. Remembering the trauma she endured during the third great war.

Akira Senju

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Surprise did not begin to cover the sensation that Akira had felt upon his arrival to the academy training field. The Senju had expected to be met with the sights of two Genin, perhaps even Chunin; duking it out. What he saw however, was two full fledged Jounin in a standoff at opposite ends of the field. With clear goals set upon each side. From as far away as he was sat, he was barely able to make out the one name that he had heard. Ichika.

At first he thought to himself that the woman had seemed unimpressive, although he had to admit her choice of attire was stellar as he observed it's similarities to his own. Without a moment's pause the two Jounin darted towards each other at such speeds that it became completely impossible Akira to track their movements, the pair seemingly becoming nothing but blurs of colour flowing from one spot to another. Akira became absolutely besotted by their ineffable skills. "They're amazing...Go Ichika-Sensei! You can do this!" He screeched at the top of his lungs, pumping his fist in the air from the sidelines. Hoping that the Uchiha, whom according to his classroom blackboard would soon become his teacher; would hear him.

The clunks of strikes hitting wood and vice versa came so rapidly and had such a short period of time between them that Akira was barely able to tell when either fighter was on the offensive, their movements displaying a level of skill so far beyond anything he and his classmates could even dream of achieving at their current levels. I'm gonna become that strong one day. I'll bet this is what it was like to watch great-grandfather! He thought to himself, his eyes glimmering as he watched an array of shadow clones appear. Akira's eyes were beginning to become adjusted to their speed, although he still couldn't make out exactly what was going on.

This childlike wonder briefly turned to confusion as he noticd the blonde haired Jounin was striking out at nothing occasionally, and it took Akira far longer than he would ever dare to admit to realise that she had been placed under Genjutsu. He had become fixated on the other one, whose name he had not caught. Watching her dispatch so many copies of such a clearly talented fighter was such a marvel to behold.

The battle was going incredibly evenly, up until the point where the Uchiha had formed what seemed to be an enormous swamp. Assuming this was some kind of sealing jutsu about to take place, the Senju child hastily bumbled and reached for his pencil and compendium, but by the time he had looked up; the battle appeared to be over as the one who would become his team leader slammed her foe into the mud of the swamp. Akira merely blinked when this occured, but somehow, once his eyes opened again Ichika was standing triumphantly in the middle of her circle once again. This isn't possible, there's just no way! How did she cover such a distance that fast?! I only blinked! Even the body flicker requires a hand seal!

Countless thoughts began to run through the ten year olds head as he struggled in vain to comprehend what occured. Of anyone had seen him in this state of confusion, they'd have probably seen steam spewing from his ears. This just isn't possible...
