Minor complaint, really. I see no problem with how you're running things, just that I'm more of a hard fantasy guy who doesn't really explain what magic is, cause it just is.
Though, question: is it possible to punch magic? Like, make a fireball by punching someone in the face really hard?

@JohnSolaris Nice read, though convoluted. Your attempt to rationalise magic has kinda turned it into an extremely abstract science, because magic by definition is something unexplainable. This much wording kinda ruins the whole magic feel of it and turns it into more of a Last Airbender x science fiction dealio.
