You ever take a look at the forum board, not see anything of ready interest, and decide to just go about your day? Figured I'd see if a new game was interesting, nope, ah well.

Writer's block is a pain, but if I happen to owe anyone apost, I'll be working on them tonight, hopefully. Might go surfing, see if any games catch my attention.

Bio
I already did an earlier introduction, but this is something one could always see, so let's roll.
Serene is the pen name that I use over on my old G+ account, which if you're able to find the account before the site shuts down, is Serene Selphia, but no fancy url, lol. But to those I'm close enough to, my nickname is Chris, and if I ask you to not use it, its nothing personal, I'm just not ready for that level of friendliness. That isn't to say I'm not a friendly person, just that I can be a bit professional when it comes to stuff. I've been rping since like...2011 I think? If I could find the Minecraft rp forums I started on(yes those were a thing, it was actually full of good rpers, but all good things come to an end of course), I'd have a precise date.
I roleplay a lot of things, well, that was the old system. About four years back, I settled down in a roleplay community on G+ called Temple of Glory, and began to stick to just one character who I kept working on, using other characters as I felt the need. That was my current primary character's father, a character I'll call the Professor for now, as I intend to post a version of his character sheet later. Probably when doing so wouldn't spoil what became of him in a storyline. Anyway, after a point I burned out as him, and switched focus to his daughter, who I use primarily in the old roleplay hub I come from. The Good Doctor, and here, no spoilers, mostly because ahaha, I'm shy about that.
I love a lot of series, but my heart goes out mainly to Rune Factory, Sonic, Mega Man, Metroid, Mario, Pokemon, and Duel Monsters. Especially Rune Factory and Sonic, though lately I've fostered a love for the Nasuverse, Fate Grand Order is a fun time. I love to read a variety of things, and I'm always online unless sleeping, so feel free to drop me a line if you need it. While I'm relatively new to the site here, I'm an rp veteran, and a skilled writer, as you'll see whenever I post the Doctor's current profile.
Ah right, more on me. I'm a college senior presently, I just had my capstone for my history degree wrapped up, and I'm proud of my progress. While I am a loner by nature(I mean my writing often keeps me trapped in my room to meet paper deadlines), I'm still a sociable person, and if you can't reach me here, my Discord is Serene Selphia#1064. So I suppose that's a bit of a spoiler, but to who, I won't say. Just be forewarned, if you ask me about a character of mine, there's a risk I'll write a lot, so make sure you're totally fine with that.
In terms of roleplay, while I do mainly fantasy/science-fiction, I can roll with just about anything(as far as I know), but if I tell you its not working for me, don't take it personally. I'm a fairly detailed writer, and in terms of style, I'm good with both combat and non-combat related narratives, I mean, my current main was built for combat initially, whereas her father is more the sociable type. The most detailed things tend to when I describe the world around, or when writing profiles for characters I adore. Basically, if I'm in tune or really love something, you could get a lot. I once wrote about twenty pages on a google doc in two hours because I loved it so much. Weird flex sure, but you can understand it. I don't look for much in rp partners, so long as you can write me enough that I understand either what you're doing, or what's going on, I'm usually good. I'll generally drop a line if I need more information.
I love learning, so if you ask me about something, and I don't have an answer, I'll gladly take the time to do at least a basic amount of research. And if you're ever stumped for ideas, drop me a line, I'm always glad to help fellow veterans or the newer folk. Heck, at one point for a friend's group I wrote an entire(albeit unused) document full of random plot ideas for the group drawn from throughout film and video games. Point is, if you need someone to talk to, unless I'm in a bad mood, or its a bad time(aka I'm about to go to bed, or in class), I'm always up for at least a quick chat. I do take commissions, so if you want a fanfiction written, give me a holler, or if you just want a custom story about a character of mine, or just ask for them to give their input on something in a non-serious setting. Still debating what to set prices for, or if I work totally free...I mean I should charge something, but anyways, wew, talk about a ramble, eh?
Personality: A terrifying woman with a terrifying presence, Serene displays great strength of will, determination, and power. She has a strong dominant approach, enough to cow those she meets. However, this dark, almost borderline sadistic approach to life at times hides a very troubled, isolated woman. She longs for friends, but due to her lifestyle, has been raised to treat others with an iron will, and to never let people close you can't trust yet. In other words, she just wants friends but pushes them away due to her overall domineering nature. That and she lived in isolation.
Abilities: Magecraft - Earth/Metal Magecraft corresponding to the manipulation of Earth and Metal. Serene has a degree of knowledge with this, but not much, as not a lot of mages wanted to come to America for one reason or another. Its a reason she came to the nation to learn more.
Magecraft - Reinforcement A fitting magecraft to go alongside metal. Primarily used to reinforce the body or materials around. Cannot be used on other people apparently. Serene has nigh to no knowledge or skill with this, due to it being both a relatively rare magecraft, and well, let's be fair, how do you even tell someone has it?
Finance, Business, Writing, Coding, other assorted good skills for a tech mogul's daughter to have. She is an average magus, with an average amount of circuits and an average quality to them.
History: House Drakos wasn't known for being normal, even among the weirdness of the various families. They operated primarily in the Americas, taking advantage of the mass melting pot of the US to locate suitable members to add to the family. By the generation above Serene's father, they had plenty of dirty dealings in the non-magic underworld, and ties around the world in the magical black market. But Serene's father, called the Professor, was different. Much like a certain hunter, he went after heretical mages, in the guise of an archeologist, but also kept to himself, and eventually, something happened. A scandal some called it. There had been rumors in Britain of a heretical mage attempting to create a chimera, but was presumed to have been killed, and his creations destroyed with him. But it was assumed that the Professor was the one who had handled the problem, and come back to the states with a woman, who later gave birth to a child. The young Serene. During this time, the Professor stopped hunting, and became a Tech mogul, carefully and shrewdly investing into the entertainment and tech industries, desiring to move away from the black and blood money of his family, and towards a better tomorrow.
Serene was raised and groomed to be an iron fisted CEO, to be the best at leading her family, and to one day, perhaps even take part in a Grail War, and claim the Grail. Of course, this changed with the events at the UN, and with the development of the new island nation. Whether or not her father had a hand in what happened is unknown, and ultimately irrelevant. She lived much of her life in isolation, not because her father was a monster, but because he wished to protect her from negative influences, such as heretic mages who wished her harm and the like for what he had done, or from other parties who might have been suspicious. This cost her social skills, as she never developed any friends, aside from her AI companion, and well, yeah. When she turned old enough, she was sent to the nation, to undergo more training for magecraft, and perhaps raise the prestige of her family.
...The poor kid didn't even have time to react before her mystic code was handed over, and she was shoved onto a private jet.
Other: This really isn't my best, but I'm up for making edits as needed. Her Mystic Code is the headpiece, functions like Rin's jewels, or the Azoth blade. She didn't bring her companion with her to the island, unless that's okayed, since its just an advanced assistant AI who functions akin to a discount JARVIS. Enjoy the jackass who's just depressed, never knew her mom(who might have been the daughter of that heretical mage I noted).
And yeah, he does ignore a lot. Like the futures he saw himself get eaten by a girl, lose to a kid...it goes on. I think its fine as is anyway, because yeah, no need to document anything beyond what the average player is gonna know. I just noted the interesting stuff.
Nice, though you are missing an NP or two, but I doubt anyone is gonna care about his clairvoyant NP. I forget its name off the top of my head. Or his personal dreadnought.
Before one asks, I know a guy who is religious when it comes to documenting all the NPs Gilgamesh has.
Ok, I'll try to have my CSs done before the weekend.
Since we already have a mage that deals with metal, I'll go with my secondary Master idea instead of reusing Othis. And for Servants, I'm between Cleopatra and maybe Mordred at this point.
I think that my Master may be an unusually skilled mage (around Brand or Grand rank) with a Sealing Designation on her head. The Kara no Kyoukai vibes I'm working with are strong enough to make me want to do someone with a focus in more esoteric things like Mystic Eyes, Origins, Reality Marbles, etc. The question is if I still have the creative power to put together a KnK style character.
I mean, I don't know if my first proper attempt at a Fae master will get passed, and I personally have no issue sharing magecrafts, since I'll admit I'm still learning, even with three or four years of fate exposure due to friends who play. And FGO helping me a tad. And my own reading.
Mordred and Cleo are both adorable and deserve many hugs.
Master done, I'll probably fix stuff up as asked. I'm ill, and I wasn't sure what else would fit. Some information is unclear because I felt it wouldn't be important right away. Such as specifics about her father and his adventures(I adapted an old character who was like that to be her father).

Alright, I just had to be sure. I'll toss the FC I'm considering into your DMs. I was thinking age 22. Not the best circuits, nor that much training beyond what private tutoring can give within the states.
I do have a pair of further questions regarding masters.
Are there any magecraft off limits? I'm going with Earth/Metal stuff for my master's primary magecraft, but I'm wondering if there's anything I should avoid if I wanted a second focal point. Also might need help with origin stuff, wee.
Additionally, are FCs that might have elements that make the person seem not human permitted, if its noted to be cosmetic or otherwise? Asking since one of the FCs I'm looking at has horns, but could be chalked up to surgery(kind of scary but in line if I go the Blood Iron Princess route for this idea of mine(don't worry, just a master with a bit of an ego)), or just a costume piece. Otherwise, I'll keep my eyes open for a suitable FC that works. Red hair can be weird to work with sometimes. Also guess this is a third question, but is there an upper limit for how old a master in the city can be if a player character? I'm not planning an old hag master, young, but I was thinking early adulthood range.
