(Alright. This one's like Blue, but not quite. No power armor, this time around. Hope you like it. If I need to fix something, just say so.)
Name - Grant Smith
Alias - Indigo
Powers - Advanced combat training. Indigo has been militarily indoctrinated since his birth, and is completely loyal to the US Government. His costume has been made with the explicit purpose of maximum protection for minimal cost- It's comprised of kevlar, giving him a good amount of protection and a very slim profile on the battlefield. His gloves and boots are the only metal part of his suit, giving him maximum punching and kicking power. His cape is fire-proof, as well. Due to his augmentations, Indigo has a maximum lifting strength of 1 metric ton with some difficulty(theoretical absolute maximum of 1.5 to 2 metric tons, though untested due to potential danger to subject), a maximum speed of twenty five miles per hour(subject once achieved thirty MPH, but his Achilles tendon snapped in the process)., and improved reaction time. He carries twin pistols, an assault rifle, anti-material rifle, six grenades(two smoke, two frag two flashbang), lockpicks, tazer, a small amount of shaped explosive charges(ranging from the ability to blast through a doorknob to blast open a man-sized hole in a wall).
Weakness - Human things. Bullets, physical damage, etc. Minimal resistance to psychics due to severe trauma at the death of his team.
Experience - Training since birth. Field experience two years.
Appearance - Costume(but the cape, mask, gloves, and boots and indigo colored),Face(except with both eyes)
Age - 20

Indigo is a product of Project: Color, a program of the U.S Military. Project Color's origins trace back to the HERO/HUNTER program by the PMC C-Tech. C-Tech conscripted two children and forced them into training, producing the super-soldiers Blue and Red. The company was shut down, but if gave the government their own idea- What if they made their own supersoldiers? Blue and Red were signed on as trainers after a short service records of two years in their respective fields. Blue would train a division specializing in urban warfare and civilian protection, where Red would train a unit of soldiers for secret deployment in the war front, though, both units would often train in tandem.
Project Color began the same as HERO/HUNTER, searching for specific genetic markers in a set of adults. But it was different, this time. Instead of abducting children, the government subliminally influenced them to donate to sperm and egg banks. Their genetics were taken and this time, twelve children were made. Six to Blue team, six to Red team. The children were given first names at random, and nondescript last names. For example, Grant Smith. Their code names were varying shades of color- for example, Indigo, Maroon, etc. Teams Blue and red were trained, meals laced with chemicals, like in HERO/HUNTER. However, this time, due to different budgets and superior access to technology, rather than being given power armor, at age twelve, the children underwent augmentation process to make them faster, stronger, and better than the average human, no armor needed.
Their training was similar, if a deal more rigorous, to HERO/HUNTER. Units have also undergone accurate battlefield simulations, with a nigh perfect service record.
At age eighteen, team Red was sent to war, and team Blue was deployed to hunt for evil superhumans. After several successful kills, the team encountered a superhuman that was ready for them- The warehouse was rigged to blow, the bomb was specially created to be undetectable to their equipment. All of Team Blue was killed, except for Grant, Indigo.
The Government reassessed their situation, and after a few months, discontinued Project Color, no more future generations would be trained. Research efforts were instead put into the possibility of artificial superhuman powers. However Team Red still operates in the field, and Indigo continues hero work in Millennium City.
Notes - Occasionally experiences flashbacks to his team, and their deaths.
Commitment - Shooting for a minimum of 3 a week, possibly a bit less at times due to school.
Well, this one's tech armor, if that counts for anything.

But if it's too many guys in armor I can make a different character.
((Assuming it's still okay to join... ))

Name - Mac [REDACTED]
Alias - To the public he is called "Blue", to those he works with he's 023.
Powers - Blue has received extensive practical, military, unorthodox, and anti-superhuman training, making him a highly deadly vector. His body is on par with an olympian, and his armor triples his strength and speed. His armor is comprised of a metal alloy with a kevlar/nanofibre suit underneath, that allows for significant durability. One would think his armor is equipped with even more armor, but most of it was filled with circuitry and tech to give him an edge in the battlefield. He has a HUD equipped with an ammo counter, charge meters for all his suit's utilities. He has thermal, night, and telescopic vision from his armors systems. His armor also provides him with a module that will allow him to cloak himself for several minutes at any given time, before a fifteen minute recharge of the unit. His armor is electrically charged, allowing him to taze his enemies. He also carries a high-powered anti material rifle, a sub-automatic assault rifle, and a pistol, for said weapons, he has carries live rounds, rubber bullets, and explosive rounds.
Weakness - The armor is still vulnerable to EMPs. Sufficient small arms fire or damage of any kind will also eventually disable the armor. Training against telepaths is also minimal, so that may be an issue. The armor is also vulnerable to extreme heat, and extreme cold may mess with the more advanced systems that grant him use of his 'powers'.
Experience - Training since age four, began field work at eighteen. Twenty two years experience if you count training, eight years if you only count actually being out and about.
Appearance - Image
Age - 26

The story of Blue began when he was unborn, in the halls of a Private Military Corporation known as C-Corps. C-Corps was facing hard times- They'd botched several operations due to many unforeseen circumstances that made anyone wanting to hire them... Uneasy. The desk jockeys were set to thinking up a plan to drum up business. After a few months, they came back with a new idea- Superheroes. They could train and outfit superheroes wearing their branding, and they could effectively rent them out if they got popular. It started with some under the table stuff- Genetic profiling, and the 'influence' of a few people, causing relationships to form that would create ideal genetic matches for the program, dubbed "HUNTER/HERO".
After a few years, there were a total of five hundred candidates with genetic matches to the program. They had funding for two. They abducted two children- One boy, and one girl. The boy was named Mac [REDACTED], the girl was Connie [REDACTED]. All information from their past was to be kept hidden from them- They were going to be moral paragons, unbound by the shackles of putting family first or anything. From day one they were trained and drilled hard, intense running, jumping, climbing, making them physically superior to anyone their age. Their schooling was begun as well, teaching them high level content, as well as chunks of strategic information as well. They were taught of many known superhumans, as well as known ways to combat and adapt to them. Their meals were laced with growth homormoes and body-altering chemicals giving them superior physicality to almost anyone, by age twelve. They were slated to be out on the field by age fourteen, but the PMC's plot was uncovered by the Government. The Government quickly shut down C-Corps for human rights violations, but the family of Mac and Connie weren't informed, oh no. The Government saw them as assets. One would be deployed in secret on the battlefield in secret, helping their soldiers. The other would protect the citizens of America. And so, Mac and Connie were separated having spent virtually all of their lives together. Connie was code-named 'Red', and Mac code-named 'Blue'.
Mac was deployed to Millennium City and has spent several years protecting the people there. No one yet knows of his connections to the Government.
Notes - His operation record includes many success, no complete failures. He hasn't gone toe-to-toe with any high level baddies yet, however.
Commitment - Probably like three times a week minimum. However the next week may be an exception, as I have midterms.
Hello everyone, I'm DocTachyon. I play Kurt Vedit in the RP, so I TA Potions and I teach Muggle Studies. I'm one of the GMs 'round here.
Anyway, Gisk, to answer your questions:
1. The year is 2014
2. We're going with the movie uniforms.
Kurt always wondered about the sorting ceremony. What was the criteria, anyway? Half the sortings didn't seem to make sense to him. He'd seen some good people forced into Slytherin, and he'd seem some downright mean bastards go into Gryffindor. He wondered if it was on a randomizer of some sort... That would be have to looked into, someday. Assuming he found the time between procrastinating and teaching.
He glanced at the Hufflepuff table. New arrivals arriving at a steady pace, like usual. It was only the other groups that seemed to get much of a change in member influx. He wondered how many of them would take Muggle Studies one day. Maybe one day, in class, he could show off an AK-47, scare the pants off them. That'd be fun. But he'd be kicked out for 'reckless endangerment' or something like that. Decisions, decisions. He chuckled to himself at that thought, and began searching for his friend Terrence. He'd probably get a kick out of the AK-47 idea.
This seems pretty cool, I'd be down for this. For one reason or another it reminds me of a combination of Cowboy BeBop and Halo...
"That attack took a lot out of me..." Jack thought, "But it sure as hell hurt them."
He saw them launch another smoke grenade. He felt their kinetic signatures charging, and was about to retaliate, but then he detcted a massive source of friction moving towards them very fast. He hit the deck as two massive stone fists rocketed over his head.
"Now who the hell did that? It's rude to cut into someone else's fight!" He shouted, somewhat jokingly.
"Shit!" Jack exclaimed as the grenade nailed him in the face. Admittedly he should've seen that coming but he hadn't been tracking Fear's clones, so they managed to get the drop on him.
"Lucky me, I have no loved ones left to protect. And yeah being a hero as fun. And lastly, I know I'm right because you sir are an asshole." Jack said. The smoke obscured his vision, but failed to obscure his kinetic sense. It was like the clones were in a formation around him.
"Cowabunga." Jack said under his breath, expending the kinetic energy he had amassed so far in a powerful outward blast 360 degrees around him, to blast Fear and his clones with the fearsome attack.
Sprinting at the maximum speed he could without using his powers, Jack detected three more entities forming- Clones, by the looks of them. The original energy signature was still running, but Jack was gaining. "There's gotta be a way to cut him off..." Jack said to himself. Just then, BB brought up the city sewers maps in his Heads-Up-Display inside his helmet.
He imagined exactly where his adversary would be on that map, and then ducked into a side tunnel of the sewers. If he ran through them quickly enough he'd emerge right in front of the guy. He willed his kinetic energy to flow to his body, he felt the energy coursing through his veins, and his speed began to increase. He felt himself clocking what he estimated to be up to fifty miles per hour while he sped through the tunnels, and finally emerged in front of his opponent.
"You should know, you can't hide from me. I was always the best at hide and seek in school." Jack said, raising his pistols to his opponent. "Give up. Unless you'd like to receive a lead sandwich, which I'm fully willing to deliver."
Hey, Yog Sothoth, perhaps you misread my post but in it I managed to put out that fire(granted at injury to my character's legs) and I'm now in the sewers, chasing Fear. So because your post makes it sound like the fire is still raging and that I'm still in the drug store and not sprinting through the sewers, I'm going to ignore it...
