Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

I chomp my teeth together when Caden pulls away after the kiss, but other wise let him guide me towards the house.
When we stop by the pool, Kiki emerges and shakes some water out of her ear before she asks Caden to repeat the question. When he does, her entire face grows red and I start to get excited over the juicy gossip about to be spilt. “Uh, yeah, I did, yep.”
I grin in triumph, deciding that I can let Cass buy the signs, but while her back is turned, I’m going to slip a twenty dollar bill in her bad. “It’s okay to be amazed by me.” I tease.
I’m grateful that Caden is keep the dance simple, given how bad dancing at the club had gone.“I would love that.” I tell him honestly, flashing my eyes back at him for a second. “Wait, I’m supposed to be the ancient one.” I joke.
I pause. “Isn’t there an entrance and an exit? Or did I imagine that?” I ask, concerned now that I had gotten it wrong before I shrug. “If not, could be useful for another time.”
I giggle as Caden spins me, thoroughly enjoying it. My smile widens with each word Caden says and I nod enthusiastically. “I’ve been looking forward to discovering what life is supposed to be like with you.” It’s sappy, but it’s true - I don’t know if I ever got to experience the good parts of life while I had been alive and I look forward to finding out what I missed out on.
“No, we just needed two not one!” I shout after her, laughing. You would think with how many strong woman have been in my life, Cass wouldn’t assume I’m a stereotypical man. Putting the sign I have under my arm, I jog after where she went.
I peer up at Caden. “What’s that?” I ask, bouncing for one foot to the other. I’m feeling a rush of excitement for what comes next - not just what Caden will say, but finishing the ceremony, figuring out where my things will go, the rest of my existence.
I glance down at my feet and notice the dirt squishing up between my toes. “This feels normal. I like it.” I observe before I look up to smile at Caden. “Taking a walk was a good idea, thank you.” I turn to kiss his arm, not wanting to untangle to reach his cheek.
”Trying to show off your dance skills to me now?” I tease as I chuckle at her antics. I pick up one more sign. “Or just hoping to get to the register before me.” I take a large step towards her and reach out to grab her arm.
I widen my eyes. “Why was I convinced I had to find room for everything here?” I ask, laughing at myself. “That will make it a lot easier actually.” I nuzzle my face into Caden’s arm.
I peer up at Caden with a small surprised expression. “Would you be okay having to sort through it all here? It really will be a lot of stuff, like three stories full.” I laugh sheepishly.
“Are you telling me to stop and ask for directions?” I ask, craning my neck to look back at her with a chuckle before I face forward again. The next aisle has yard sale signs, house numbers, and similar items, so I grab Cass’ hand and drag her along with me.
I do a little happy wiggle with my head as I think about it. “I hope so. It’ll be weird to have a functioning home instead of a place to hoard things.” My smile fades as I think about dealing with demons to get my things. I can handle a phone call, its not like it’ll be Mundus. I tell myself.
I chuckle and follow her out of the car, leading us to the front doors and opening them for Cass before I follow her in. “I can pay for it.” I say to Cass as we walk through the store. I use my height to keep an eye out for the right aisle.
I laugh sheepishly, looking around as we walk. “I still keep calling your bedroom ‘Caden’s room’ in my head.” I sigh when I realize I just did it again.
I quickly take the turn to detour towards the hardware store. “We might find a sign here - just in case we need it.” I said as I pulled into the parking lot. I look over at Cass and smile.
My whole face is flushed by the time Caden sets me back down. I’m reminded of how he had hugged Cassi like this before and I had been jealous of it, so a little bit of pride thrums in my heart at the fact that he’s done it with me now. I grin widely up at Caden when he confesses his love again.
“I don’t know, it doesn’t seem like you do.” I tease with a small giggle before I say, “I love you too.”
It’s a weird sensation, to both feel love and be loved. I doubt I ever felt it in my human life, and I’m fully convinced I never found it as a demon either. I greedily wrap my arms around one of Caden’s and lean my cheek on his arm. “Now, let’s finish this walk - I think our detour has gone on long enough.” I say with a wink.
I nod. “I can try talking to the people I spoke with yesterday. If nothing else, we can see if we can find an ‘under maintenance’ or some similar sign.” There’s a small hardware store on the way that the two of us could stop by and probably find a sign like that easily.
