Quick question while we wait for the IC- how will you manage the multiple "personality packages" of Mark 8?
Will it switch between personalities at random, or only when another robot changes it manually? Or maybe it's stuck on one, or lost all personalities and is just on a "default" setting?
One idea: it could have been damaged over time, and so- regardless of what personality it is at the time- it constantly hears the opinions of all the other personalities in it's head. Like a schizophrenic typewriter.
The packages shown on the CS were the different models of personalities. One typewriter could be made with the Blabbering Bookworm personality, while another was packaged with the software for the Gung-ho Girl. Sort of like a "Build-a-bear" kind of deal, but instead of different voices it's a complete person. But, I do like your idea for having the Mark 8 have to deal with multiple personalities. Perhaps I'll integrate that.
