I'm glad I didn't join the RP a few days later. I would have had another couple hours of reading through shitposting in the OOC.
@The Fated Fallen You took both possible #1000 posts in the OOC. I was about to steal it, jerk.
@boomlover You don't understand, @The Fated Fallen is running the site on an IBM PC from '81. The 99 game is far beyond her computer's comprehension.
After all, vampires can use body glitter too.

I would second that, I thank my lucky stars every day that my parents got me into gaming and various other things. My mother and I had a whole long talk one day on the fact that vampires DON'T sparkle!!! she was into the Anne Rice books when I was growing up :p

I've seen vampires sparkle in media before. It can work. The vampires just have to be absurdly fabulous instead of emo.
@Dragoknighte i feel so sorry for you how did you survive ?

My mom isn't a fan of either of those things. She reads books. I'm just saying that there are worse things for your parents to like. Like Big Momma's House and Tyler Perry sitcoms.
@The Fated Fallen there are far worse things for your mom to be a fan of. Like the Twilight series. Or modern day boy bands.
Foiled by a bunch of Teenagers With Attitude(TM).
@DragoKnighte Could you detail exactly what injuries Durin has?

We're also as a group moving into the bottom end of the largest RPs on this site, the vast majority die long before this has. Here's to another almost 1000 OOC posts

He has a hole directly to the right of his left shoulder from the ice spike that's partially immobilized his arm because muscle tearing. Otherwise he's fine.
Well, everything seemed to have mostly settled down. There were no burning skeletons in his sight at least so he was probably safe. First a limb check. His shoulder was almost immobile. Expected, but a rather serious impediment. He could bend his elbow. Surprising, but good. And he could open and close his fist, although they felt much weaker than usual. All in all, could be better, but also could be 9 Hells of a lot worse. So there really wasn't much point in keeping a giant chunk of ice in his chest.

When Tirarrian spotted Durin, she saw him pulling out a bloody icicle from his shoulder. Normally, the Dwarf might have been concerned about losing blood before he could find something to patch it up, he was 74% sure that freezing his flesh would be a lot worse. Durin presses the palm of his right hand over his wound and looks around before finally spotting Tirarrin. Silently he walked up to the gnome. She didn't really look like the sort to stick around battlefields, but who knew with gnomes. They were slippery sorts.

The moment Kayleth heard about burning skeletons destroying the city, she clicked her tongue. This would be bad. She would need to prepare to take in double the amount of people she normally did, and that probably wouldn't be enough to adequately care for those injured during the attack. Hopefully Maria would be able to handle any patients she couldn't. If it got really bad, she might have to resort to a bit of magic to help as many people recover as quickly as possible. The elf turns towards her assistant, a young human girl about 17 years old.

"Ashara, I'll need your help to deal with this emergency. I'll need as many bandages and as much salve as we can muster." It was then that the Guard Captain walked into her clinic. She didn't bother with the usual smile she would give her customers to improve their mood, instead addressing the captain with a stern voice that would fit the situation. "How many casualties are we looking at?
