Maybe everyone just lied about going on vacation to get away from us politely.
@The Fated Fallen Well you don't have to save it to your computer. A lot of people use Word documents for spell checking stuff. And if your computer shuts down or you lose internet, your post isn't lost since Word retains it automatically. If you were going to save all your posts, you could just dump them all into one folder. After all you'd lose like maybe a Megabyte at most.
It's a bad habit probably, but I don't put in a lot of work into my posts, writing it up in a word document and editing it until it's just right. I stream of consciousness the thing and put it up there, only editing afterwards if I remember that I forgot to put something in.
@Argetlam350 So Tholo is like Bigby even in that he drinks and smokes to keep the beast inside him down?
@IcePezz All writing that you haven't immediately done is by default bad and you can't believe how much you sucked at writing. Well, it applies to most skills developed. But I'm understanding of not wanting to show people your work because it's not great.
@IcePezz What killed her? This in turn reminds me of my friend Coos who had a character in another RP named Kaiser Evans. He played this character for like 2 years and ended up being the only character in the RP to actually finish his story. When he wrote out KAiser's death, he made his mod cry.
@IcePezz Well, he did soften up a bit as the RP went on. His first adventure, he met a wandering samurai that helped out and told him about how in his culture, a samurai without a master is called a ronin, and how he preferred that over calling oneself a rogue or outlaw. Afterwards, Shoda began calling himself ronin and slowly tried emulating aspects of the samurai. After reluctantly getting some friends, and a love interest, several of the former being killed and being thrust into situations where he had to protect people despite his better instinct telling him not to, Shoda grew from his neutral role into a heroic one. Even at the end, he was still paranoid, sarcastic and selfish, but he was able to actually get close to people. I'm proud of Shoda for being my best example of character development from a personality standpoint.
@Tabitha Jade is probably dealing with real life stuff.

On another note, Izzy reminds me of a character I had played for about a year on my old site, Shoda. He also didn't trust anybody, but that was because he was a fugitive from his home country. I took it a lot farther than @IcePezz though. He would be suspicious of the nice lady running a restaurant in a small town that gave him free food because he was new, he was suspicious of town guards in another country, he was even suspicious of random people on the road. My mod joked that he wouldn't trust his own grandmother, which I corrected him by saying that he wouldn't trust his own grandmother. Shoda, on top of being the second most paranoid character in that RP was selfish, sarcastic and pragmatic to a fault. It was pretty awesome, if extremely stressful to play.
Awesome. Well not awesome for Tabitha disappearing, but awesome that we can keep moving anyways.
Maybe she got lost and needs directions back here.
