@Lady Amalthea "Ah," Flo remarked, as a corner of her mouth lifted just barely enough to be seen. "Then it appears we are at an understanding. I'm sure this job would not be an issue for a craftsman of your caliber." Florina stepped forward towards the counter, and one of her hands darted into a pocket that had been disguised by clever tailoring, when it emerged, the tips of her thumb and index finger were adorned with a veneer of black. She pressed the two digits together and then placed them directly onto the surface of the countertop. From there, she separated the fingers and revealed a stream of blue light that connected the previously connected phalanges. From there, she dragged her fingertips to the side, extending the stream into a rectangular holographic "screen."

On the screen was a sketch/blueprint of sorts that depicted a rapier. It appeared to be a normal rapier, and not even as ornate as some of the ones Sunie had seen in books or film. Silently, Flo swiped across the screen with her other hand which caused the screen to move onto the next slide, on that displayed the pommel detached from the hilt of the sword, and opened up hidden compartment in the weapon's handle. With one more swipe, she revealed a new slide that contained some specifications: the sword needed to be a meter long, the pommel had to be able to remain firm in the hilt of the sword despite being detachable, and the hidden compartment would need to be 1.5cm wide by 9cm long, the sword blade itself did not need to be sharp but would be a welcome addition. Florina gave Sunie enough time to read over everything and commit it to memory before she lifted her black-adorned fingers from the countertop, which caused the screen to disappear as well.

"I'll need this in about 10 to 14 days," she stated matter-of-factly. Afterwards she fell silent again to give Sunie the chance to reply.

@Nallore "Over my dead body." Leonard scowled and scooted his seat away from Anthony. "I don't think you'd be allowed into any of the meetings anyways. Authorized personnel only. And you're not even close to dressed well enough to get within 100 feet of any of the people I'm going to be meeting. A lot of snobs, you know." Leonard took another long, hard look into his coffee before he set it down with a sigh. He scooted his seat back in and leaned forward, speaking in a far more serious tone than he'd been using before.

"If you're really interested in helping me, there may be something you could do for me that I would really appreciate. You're under no obligation to do so."

@FantasyChic"Is that so?" the younger cop asked before turning to his partner. "I told you she wouldn't know an-"

"Thank you for your cooperation, ma'am," the older cop spoke up and cut off the complaint before he could finish. "We'll have to turn down that offer for a drink, but if you happen to come across something, feel free to come into contact with either of us. I'm Sargeant Roxas and my partner here is Ferguson. Just give the station a call, and if you ask for either of us, it should be easy to get ahold og at least one. Have a good day ma'am." With that, the two lawmen turned around and left the bar whilst talking quietly amongst themselves. When the door quietly shut, it was as if a veil had lifted from the room and what few patrons there were started to proceed as they had been before the police had even walked in. That being for the most part copious consumption of liquor.
Well Roger had his orders and he had no reason to disobey them. Wait for the Cruxi to converge in the center and then flank right to form a pincer. Simple enough, the issue right now was getting the bastards to actually converge so he could get into a flanking position in the first place. There was really only a single Cruxi squad blocking a way in from the right, but he couldn't get within range to attack them without barging right into the open, presumably to a very laser-filled death. On top of that, the whole "regenerating destroyed machines" thing that stubby asshole did only made things more bothersome.

For the time being it would probably be best to simply reposition. Roger positioned Yeager right by Eiswolf. Still just out of range, but he'd be able to easily move in and out of range of medium weapons, which would probably reduce the likelihood of being made an obvious target like Black Star. Snipers were a different matter, but that's why he had teammates, like the Sniper to his left. Not a lot for the pilot to do at the moment, but sometimes the best solution was simply to not directly take action.

tl;dr: Move G9->I8

"Like army life without the structure." Nor commented, still chewing the bread, now in a bit less of an aggressive manner. Being able to understand what the other party of a conversation is saying was a great boon in calming down. Aside from that, although he was quite young and stupid the kid seemed like he had his wits about him. Now for any supposed skill with the blade? That had to be seen later. Folks that talked a lot about wanting to fight rarely had anything to back up their stated desires.

"I'm just passin' through, really. Currently on me way eo Rosthead to take care of some other business. And since I'm travelin' why not bring me trade with me? I can make a decent amount of pocket change and get me affairs sorted at the same time. Two drow with one arrow if ye will. Did nae expect te come across such a sorry state of affairs in this town. Had heard it was a bit livelier than this when I was comin through from the North."

Location: Zoie's House

"If you say so," Mali said in response to Zoie's assertion that the goat that she'd just seen bowl over Relic was just an exuberant animal that could be paid no mind. She made a mental note to keep an eye out for the ungulate when she left the building. No assurance would assuage the persistent idea that Juniper would simply headbutt anyone that showed up who wasn't Zoie.

Walking into the house, Mali couldn't help but examine it with something of a critical eye. Much like the goat outside, Mali didn't expect a house like this to exist right outside Justice. Outside of Atlanta or Jacksonville, sure she could see this same building being around, but Justice? If this house was any indication of its owner's character, this Zoie was very odd indeed.

"Some water would be fine." Well, "some" water might have been an understatement. The heat of the summer had her feeling quite dehydrated. She felt like she could drink a whole quart of water right then and there, but that would be unsightly.
Going to try to get a post up by the end of the weekend. If I did it now it would probably be shite. Kinda out of sorts atm.

"That's what ye get with most adventurin' groups, lad. Buncha weirdos and outcasts trompin around together, drawin attention from just how wyrd they be. Reckon that if ye aren't either of those two things ye wouldn't be muckin about with fighting monsters and traveling all the time." Nor took another bite out of the bland, crunchy bread and eyed the newcomers to the tavern who happened to be the people that had left just a short while ago. The only marked change was that the broad the big guy was carrying was now on her feet. Wherever they ended up going must have fixed her major malfunction.

However, the big one's mention of there being potentially another undead attack soon and this was a still before the quake made the dwarf grumble a bit. Now he'd have to make sure Dorka was properly protected, get out his fighting gear from his cart and possibly get in that highly effective, but also hot and heavy armor. It was all such a pain in the ass, especially since he might be gone before any such undead attack would occur. That was one more reason to hate this dangleberry of a town.

@Lady Amalthea"I'm not a contractor, Sunie," Florina replied with nary an ounce of levity to be found in her tone of voice or facial expression.

"And even if I were, I'm not sure I would be able to source work from either of your sisters and without always keeping my eye on them. No offense." Today Florina wore one of her business gowns that were growing more popular among corporate women these days. Said gowns consisted of a top mimicked that the jacket of a suit with a wide, deep v-shaped neckline filled in with an undershirt and tie matched with a voluminous, if plain full length skirt made of the same fabric as the bodice. Florina pulled up a shoulder that was beginning to droop before stepping up closer to the counter.

"I know your shop's is likely overburdened at the moment, but I was wondering if you would be open to take a special commision." Despite making a statement, the last portion of the sentence was made as if asking a question.

@Nallore"I'd rather wear a hat for the rest of my life, than embrace the wreckage under here" Lenard said, pointing at the top of his head before he took a sip of coffee left unaltered by cream or sugar.

"Today's going to be a long day. After this, my schedule's filled to the brim with meetings that end with not quite enough time to get to the next meeting. I'm going to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Must be nice being able to work from home, huh? Just get to sit around in your underwear all day." Lenard looks deep into the cup of coffee, as if contemplating whether he should toss back the entire mug despite the fact that the liquid was roughly 200 degrees fahrenheit.

@FantasyChic"We're not going to be here long. It's just going to be a couple of questions." The younger of the two cops asserts when Kimber asks them to take a seat. He glances to the side and notices the death in Brandon's eyes, but returns his gaze back to Kimber without acknowledging it.

"There's been a murder not too far from here, and we have reason to believe that the suspect might have been here shortly before the incident occurred," the older cop explained. He hadn't dropped eye contact once after establishing it, and his gaze was hard like flint. His expression remained neutral, but there was something off about it that was nearly impossible to describe. "Last night did you notice anything suspicious or particularly out of the ordinary for your establishment?"

Location: Taxicab

Mali rubbed her eyes as she left the taxicab. She'd been up since the wee hours of the morning, and it was starting to get to her. If something didn't rouse her soon, she wouldn't be surprised if she started to nod off within the next couple of hours.

That thing was a goat. What the hell was a goat doing in California? Mali had never seen a goat (or any kind of livestock for that matter) in person, and for one to just casually show up and ram Relic to the ground struck her as the oddest thing to happen all day. Long running conspiracy controlling the construction of the city she was currently living in? Not surprising considering the evidence they had to deal with. Drive by shooting killing like a dozen people? Well they were in the hood. Crazy assassin coming for a crazy mental patient? ...Alright, that was pretty weird, but a goat living just outside a major city in California. So distracted by the goat was she, that Mali almost missed the introduction. Half a second passed before her eyes widened in recognition of what was going on.

"Oh, sorry," Mali smiled sheepishly and shook Zoie's hand firmly. "I've just never seen a goat before." Her eyes flitted back to the goat, hoping that Juniper wasn't thinking of charging her as well. The last way she wanted to spend the evening was dodging goat attacks.
