What kind of gullible sods was Nor getting himself involved in this time? He could understand doing this shit for free if they were just dealing with bandits, a wild animal or greenskins. After all, getting rid of an infestation is payment unto itself, but undead? Might as well go around clearing hornet nests with only a stick while you're at it for all the good that will come to you. But once a decision is made, you stick to it. No sense in getting cold feet afore you even get out of bed, so to speak.

"Morning, lass," Nor replied to Satilla before he returned his attention back to Kyra. Common courtesy should be upheld with members of a team you're trying to join. "Aye, but at least one of yer number I'm countin' as a customer for me other practice, and I gotta make sure they can live long enough for me tae actually do my job." He'd keep being more or less straight with the ranger. It seemed to have worked so far, and he had a hunch his normal sales persona wouldn't go over well.
Post up by the end of thee weekend hopefully

"Point taken." Mali looked over at Relic, who still seemed to be recovering from the dumbstruck the turn the conversation had taken. She couldn't blame him, the information must have come as a shock, and he didn't know she was gay which was probably a factor in being able to take the plan in stride. A dude making this same offer might have given her a bit more pause. Or perhaps she was handling the proposal better because of the bizarre circumstances she found herself living in.

"Alright, I'll act as your cover story for the time being. We can sort out all the details tomorrow. I'm starting to get sleepy, and there's still other things to take care of tonight." Mali stretched out her arms and rose from the couch, the furniture still carrying a faint indentation from where she'd been sitting. It was then that a thought that had been swirling in the lower parts of her cognition rose up to the top. Mali looked directly into Zoie's eyes and spoke with the utmost certainty, "If I end up like Alicia as a consequence of this plan of yours, I'm haunting your ass."

Well I accidentally deleted a bit more code than I thought I did

Most of the more fragile races would have been bothered by the cool greeting the weather had bestowed upon the cozy shitheap that was Salarn, but it was a cold of more familiar times to Nor. And although he couldn't help but feel some of that old resentment bubble up from within, it was accompanied with a somber nostalgia. Next time he would go sleep at an inn during the winter, Nor decided to ask for/purchase additional blankets.

After getting decent, Nor collected his things and made his way to the common room/pub. He made a quick scan of the room and found only two people of note, that gnome from last night who carried himself like he owned the place and the silver-haired broad, with a wolf curled up right by her. Well can't blame a gnome for not standing up against an animal being in his establishment when it was that large. His mind made some quick risk assessments before deciding to approach Kyra. He mentally prepared for the lass' pet to start making some noise and being threatening towards him, cause that's what dogs did. He'd just need to make sure to not let it startle him.

"Morning, lass. M'name's Nor Dunadkar an' I'm just going tae cut tae the chase. I cam tae this town lookin' tae make a profit, and I see a chance tae make some profitable gains by joining the party yer apart of, but I can't do so if everyone's scared tae make conversation with me. And it's not like I cannae offer some use tae ye either. Been, introducing meself as a barber, and that be true, been trained in that craft since I was a wee lad. But I've also got decades of military and mercenary experience. If yer dealing with undead, ye'll need more than 7 people tae deal with that. So how bout's this: I lend ye me mercenary services, and ye help me get intae the club."
Alright, another addendum to the rules, while we're at three people, the "two posts between your last post and your current" rule is suspended. Don't really see a point in having ti with so few people.

@Nallore The woman looked at Anthony, the card at his hand and once more at him, or more specifically his face. If pupils were microscopes, he'd be able to see the lens telescoping out to analyze his expression. She took the card, but didn't say anything in reply. He had made it a few steps before a voice called out behind him.

"I don't know what you're playing at here, but if you're really serious about this, come back here at midnight tonight." And if he turned around, she would be gone.

@Lady Amalthea As the computer set to work slowly going about it's thing, Sunie did the same, looking over page after page of various documents she had on hand. The pile of "not even close" signatures increased rapidly while anything even vaguely similar to the writing she had seen on the note were few and far between. By the time she was done with this first pass, the computer had finished its attempt at textual enhancement. Looking at the screen, the program hadn't really done much to improve readability, however, there was something that appeared to be a name, but how exactly it was spelled was something of a mystery. McKinnon? McKimmon? McKinnan?
Oh dear we now number 5 and Thomas just lost his one male friend for awkward bromance. Now it's Keystone and the ladies, a boy and a dwarf.

Sounds like the intro to a joke

Nor offered his hand in friendship and Thomas spat in his mouth. I have no sympathy for him.

Mali kept up a stone-faced facade as she did some mental math on the situation. If you had asked her that morning where she saw herself being in 12 hours, this wouldn't necessarily be bottom of the list, but it would be pretty far down there. She wasn't all that shocked about the revelation of prostitution, it wasn't really all that far off from some of the stuff she did to make a living, it was the everything else around it that was throwing her for a loop.

"So if I'm getting this straight, you want me to join in Juno undercover and act as your cover story. There's a few problems I see here. From everything I've gathered, members of Juno seem like they would all be pretty well-accomplished women. Sure I've got a University degree, but that's not saying much these days, nor do I have a lot of special skills. Then there would be my role as your 'exclusive.' I'm some kid from the suburbs who's found herself living in the big city. Nobody's going to believe I have the funds to dominate enough of your time to require cutting down on other clients. ...Unless you're just asking me to pose as your girlfriend." Talking through one's thoughts does a great job of showing that one is over-thinking like crazy, and things could be much simpler than they seem.
