Very nice! I think I'll be in. One question about the augments: are they en utero or done after birth? (or did I miss reading something?)
@Ryonara alright, thanks for letting me pick Nanuni's brain a little. And that sounds neat. Do PM when you have example stuff (I'm interested to see how you mix the two).
@Ryonara Just a few questions on the moral weakness:

What would a stranger asking about her family do to her? Like a "how would you feel if ___ happened to your family?" question.
What kind of mood drop is it when she talks about her family? Solemn mood, tears-in-her-eyes-sad mood, something else?

Just questions for future diabolical purposes. Your CS looks good, though. Just trying to get a better feel of Nanuni's mental functioning.
So if pirouette flakes out who will be assigned to the group?

Well, the active current heroes I see are (separated by teams):

1. Cecelia, Elisha, Lenna, Louis,

2. Vance, Miercoles,

3. Adrial, Brennen,

4. and Veltis (by association of having the same user).

(I'm only not including Snarl's characters due to his aforementioned spottiness with being online)

Then there's our two new heroes: Bartleby and Malaki.

From all the post-mission bonding, the first team is at capacity-ish (trying to keep groups of 3-5, because I think Snarl was trying to do that) and is quite close (unless we/they decide to switch a member for another). Assuming we/they don't, the other seven can arrange into two groups: one of four and the other of three. I don't really know how that would work until Bart and Malaki interact with someone or a group. We can form groups IC through verbal communication if that would be easier. I'll make a world post as they're leaving that splits them into groups.

P.S. If I missed someone's character, I'm sorry and please just tell me. I'll fix it. I promise.

@MarsAdept I honestly was assuming that there was a spell going on. I didn't go back to check it, though. And I didn't know about the not regenerating part. Sorry.
With her hands still firmly attached to Ren's hoodie, Maggie made a break for the alley's entra- wait. Which way was it...? The boy's words were a mimic to Maggie's thoughts: "... Do any of you ladies know the way back?" Wait, I thought we walked straight back. Now we have to choose...? Left or right? Left or right!? Leftorright?leftorright?leftorrightleftorright..........? The... Thing behind them was gaining on them, so Maggie just wished she could teleport, but is too afraid to leave her newfound friend behind. Nor did she wish to endanger the other boy who had stayed behind with them. "I don't. I thought it was a straight back." A light bulb metaphorically goes off over her head and she tries to go down the middle! Duh!
... And hits her head on brick wall. Ow... That didn't work. Left. With that, she turned left, and ran as fast as she could, Ren's feral pose being dragged to a point of slowing Maggie down considerably. It was like a maze. So many twists and turns, never truly escaping. At one point, when they had enough distance from the dead-woman-undead-thing, she hefted Ren up like she was going to help a drunken Ren walk, trying to get through to the human side of her, through this base instinct that's kicking in. "Ren? You ok? We need you to be you again. This reaction isn't helping. Please come back to us. Ren...?" Maggie kept repeating variations of these phrases as they tried to escape the dreaded thing-that's-chasing-them.

Photina hears the female who called herself Victoria call to her, asking for assistance. As she looked over to respond, Victoria was taking damage from her own summoning. Seeing an enemy start to cast its own spell, Photina quickly countered, pulling the spell's essence from the enemy caster, converting it into healing energy, and sent it to Victoria to help her wounds. "I apologize for the lack of health I could supplement, for I tend to nullify more damage than I heal. I will gladly keep you from getting hurt further."

At that moment, Photina used another one of her memorized spells, sending a small protective aura to Victoria, which then bounced off the female and to her own creature. She readied the rest of her mana to regenerate the previously sacrificed Deathpact Angel, adding more defences, or damage, to Victoria's arsenal. Panting, Photina says "that is all I can do for now. I will ready more protection for you as soon as I can."

@The_written_John Well, that's quite the intro for Bartleby. And Shin
