Wouldn't be too worried about that. Just because people don't like him now doesn't mean that they're always going to dislike him. That's what the IC is for, to develop the relationships between these characters. Otherwise, what would be the point in playing with other people.
The mentality I'm going on with Darren isn't so much that its the here and now where he'll value the few people who believe in him for whatever reason. Sure he'll certainly improve in stature in time with the others, but for now he'll really value those who give him a chance after his shitty first impression he left.
Yeah but I'm looking at the here and now and Darren would try to get friends considering that he still isn't super popular because of how he used to act. But like I said Darren and William make a strong duo in terms of powers. So a friendship between the two makes sense.
Since Darren clearly is still struggling with people looking him I'll have Darren upgrade William Alexander to friend. Not only for his friendly nature but the guy who inflates with aid benefits from an air user. Since William could do things like move Darren faster and inflate him faster and such.
@DrewVonAwesome The only thing I have to say is that Hollie isn't actively seeking out the opportunity to bully or berate anyone. It isn't her MO. She is use to being mostly by herself so she tends to keep her comments to herself. But your right in assuming she isn't very approachable as she usually treats people with a lot of sarcasm and rolled eyes. She can be mean sometimes but those times are few and dependent on the circumstance.
Well I see it as saying seeing yourself in someone doesn't mean they're the same thing. Darren just sees the sort of pissy attitude she has, only more subtle compared to him. Its more having an attitude of superiority, which doesn't help considering where they are and have (Not in a good place and not a hell of a lot respectably)
Though he wouldn't be very outward about all that to her. He really isn't the preachy type. I'm sure though she has made fun of him a time or 12 though.
@DrewVonAwesome I like it! I think they'd have a nice friendship between the two. Both same age, both got to the school at roughly the same time. I look forward to seeing the friendship bloom.
Yeah when you had them as friends I could see it, Darren has started being fairly easy going so him and Allison make a smart friendship considering. At some point he should teach her how to surf.
So are the relationships I got for Darren good so far? I'm still not completely sure on it.

As an aside I'm pausing on finishing the relationship stuff because I'm still not completely sure on who's still sour on Darren and who's cool with him now.
