.... really? take a look at DD again and say my char doesn't fit into this rp cause who my char is basically based off mostly who works in the blackmarket, is cruel and sadistic and likes to hurt others for fun. does that not sound like a certain villain we've gotten to know lately?

Yes, indeed. It sounds just like Caesar Clown, who wouldn't be seen dead with a heroic pirate crew or a ship of Marines. You've made an act-spanning villain into just some random guy, and still expect to be able to have his complete lack of morality gel with the rest of the game.
That's... not at all what pain is, but I really have no room to complain about realism, considering the setting.

The biggest issue I have with your character is how he fits with the setting like oil in water. He's an edgy, sinister character more inherently immoral and sadistic than almost all of the franchise's villains, and you're trying to shoehorn him into fun pirate adventures on the open seas.
I suppose, if it's entirely useless against anyone with more than regular cloth for armor, takes multiple hits to have any effect, and is only effective against bare flesh, that would work. Besides, not feeling pain in combat is significantly more of a hindrance than ever actually feeling pain.

I still take issue with the multiple powers you've given your character. How does "resistant to pain" translate into "can create pain fluid and manipulate memories"?
Being blocked by weapons is hardly an issue for a liquid, especially one that goes through clothes and is effective the second it touches the skin. A single touch from your character will logically result in a flawless victory for him, considering the sheer number of things he can do. Beyond that, your character's powers violate the key rule of Devil Fruit: you only get one power, that you're expected to adapt to a variety of situations.

You've got "Produces pain fluid at will", "can manipulate memories", "can share pain with others", "can telekinetically open scars", "can stop pain at will", and "can change the formation of his body [into pain fluid]".
what can I say? I've been working on this char for a long time *chuckles*

He's unbelievably broken, though. You've taken Magellan's power, and then gave him five more somewhat-related powers on top of that because apparently you didn't think Magellan was powerful enough, including the ability to make him into a Logia at will.
This is the single most edgy One Piece character I've ever seen. You've pulled a direct 180 over everything One Piece embodies!
You guys can feel free to move on whenever. Try not to spend all your motivation on bickering at eachother! Just say that you're moving on, and I'll progress the story.
So, will the Marine characters get intros and character meetings just like the Pirate characters?
@Eklispe,@Duthguy,@clanjos, we've started. Feel free to put an intro in, otherwise you'll be treated as just following the caravan.
Tumult-Acres Border, Morning

12 Hours Until Sunset

The sun rises on a broken world, as it has for three decades. The night has been uneventful, but far from silent. The sounds of Moblin iron clashing with bone and rotten meat resounded through the night, precipitated only by howls, battle cries, and screams. Luckily for you, the Moblin shantytown you had just left, one led by a proud warlord known only as No-Point, served as enough of a distraction for you to get to a safe distance.

The edge of the Twisted Acres is only about an hour's walk away. Your trip from here should be fairly safe, even considering the acres' twisted state. Before the cataclysm, it was impossible to traverse the woods without a fairy guide, and so nobody except the suicidally brave bothered to attempt it.

After the cataclysm, sections of the woods were changed. Now, one can reliably determine which part of the Acres they're in just by checking to see how violently the trees react to being hit with a sword.

Your trip will largely be through the Old Woods. A trail of sorts has been formed, where the Old Woods hasn't yet been overtaken by any of the other encroaching corruptive forces. The route will take you between the Ironwoods and the Fungiwoods, twin forces opposed to one another. With any luck, you'll avoid the notice of either force and only have to worry about the comparatively mundane inhabitants of the Old Woods.

For now, you've got some time to pack up, take inventory, breakfast, and otherwise get ready for the journey ahead. Time is on your side, though you would be loathe to get back to the Tumult by nightfall.
