Pretty much. This is the only thread I've seen it done though; it does help with the sheer number of players involved.

This, pretty much, even though I'm pretty sure most of us read all of them anyway. It just helps at least a little bit.

We pretty muchdid it when we addressed each other as, "the little girl", or "black haired boy".
Ugh, my half a year long roleplay absence has taken it's toll. I attempted to make Dani's CS, but it was just a bunch of boring meh :(

As the others headed towards the Geniku Inn, Ritaka held back behind the group, until he sidestepped into an ally way. He followed the ally until he came out the other side. Looking up at a sign across the street, he smiled.
They're gonna love this... He thought, then entered the shop.

"Greetings, how may I help you?" the NPC asked. A window popped up in front of Ritaka, showing the things he could buy.
"Wow, there's even more selections then there were in the beta test!" Ritaka thought aloud, then purchased an item.

With that, he simply exited the store, and headed back towards the inn. Then a sudden thought occurred.
Actually, I should probably go back and buy something else as well, give them a little variety to choose from. He thought.

He headed back into the shop, and began looking through the items. The first was easy, he had already known what he wanted to before he got there. However, there was so much to choose from, he had no idea what to get. He would get it all if he could, but of course, he didn't have enough money.

He tried thinking about what his new friends would like, but he didn't know them too well yet. He would have asked them what they wanted, but that would have ruined the surprise.
After much thought, he finally decided on something, and began heading back to the inn.
I shall post my revised character sheet tomorrow, for I must disperse. Farewell, friends!
The last post I made wasn't really a normal post, as much as me saying that Ritaka is going on. I don't really have much plans of stuff to do until they get to Geniku, but I didn't want to just say, "...and they arrived at Geniku...", if someone else did.

"Well. First step to defeating all 100 floors, right?" Suki said, turning to face them after killing a boar. Ritaka smiled, and drew Arms Length. Following the girl, he too began fighting. It didn't matter if the sun went down before they reached Geniku, because it was all flat plains until there. Horunka was slightly more difficult to get to in the dark.

After he fought several boars and wolves, and slowly moved towards their destination, Ritaka stopped. He sheathed his sword, and looked up at the "sky". Stars were beginning to appear. Despite there being a floor above them, there was still a sky. Ritaka wondered what it would've been like if that detail wasn't put it, if somebody looked up and saw a massive disk above them? It would probably have felt much more like a prison.

By this time, several stars were visible, and Ritaka could make out the line the supposedly made up the Milky Way galaxy. He had heard that each floor's night sky was as if it were a different angle of the Earth, though he wasn't sure if it was true or not. That would be something he'd have to see.

Mother, you've often told me to stop and smell the roses. Does this count? Ritaka thought, then sighed. After closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he drew his sword and continued onward.
As a side note, I have no qualms with people heading to Geniku, however, Horunka is meant to be the closest village

Would've been nice to know before I started this Geniku trend ;-;

As Umichi explained what skills were to Aikoto, Ritaka looked back at the center of town. The people were clearing, either going off to train, buy supplies, or just go to the inn. Looking, Ritaka realized how many children were trapped in this game. Surely nobody would make them fight. What was going to happen to them?

It wasn't until then that Ritaka realized how much of a death game this was. It might take months for them to finish. Then Suki voiced his thoughts.

"The children... What's going to happen to them?" Suki asked.
"We need some people to stay behind and watch our for them. We can't just have fighters, we'll need all sorts of people if we're going to survive." Ritaka answered grimly. How were they going to organize ten thousand people? They needed a leader, but there was no way someone would be able to lead this chaos.

"We need to move on if we want to get Geniku before it get's too dark." Ritaka said, but he didn't move. He was still watching the people in the square, deep in thought.
