Sol sighed, Kodo seemed intent on testing his resolve, either kill Kodo or lose his advantage and be forced to concede. Killing somebody for a battle that wouldn't actually even increase his rank seemed not only petty but rather excessive as well, but he did so hate to lose. Frustrated Sol jumped back leaving the tiniest of nicks upon Kubo's neck indicating that if he really wanted to win this battle would've been over. The burning heat had drained Sol stamina to a dangerously low level for fighting, even with his stamina from his ridicules training regimen he was weakening. "Get up and let’s finish this." Sol called over, if he didn't end this now he wouldn't be able to. Sol charged his power once again, this time he wouldn't let Kubo get off with simply yielding.

Sol endured the blistering heat of Kodo's prescense and carefully watched Kodo waiting until the very last moment to respond and in doing so saw the feint into a leg sweeg. As Kodo spun into position Sol pounded her into the ground instantly with his stored magic and at the same time drew his sword sharpening its edge with the last of his magic and leaving it millimeters above Kodo's neck,"Yield" Sol said bluntly. He was drained from the constant heat but knew that he couldn't let that show

Sol analyzed Kodo as she came towards him. Sol concluded that from his movements that he was simply waiting for an attack and so Sol continued to gather magic, while almost face to face with Kodo ready to react instantly.

Kodo seemed to be a match for him in physical combat but Sol's magic was more under control. So, Sol began to charge up, swirling winds surrounding himself

Sol grunted as Kodo tackled him and the waves of heat that were emitting from Kodo's body caused him to instantly break into a sweat. He had underestimated the strength of Kodo's stance. Sol managed to keep his left arm free as he was brought to the ground and used it to attempt to strike Kodo's chest shooting out a high-powered gust of air at the same time in an effort to knock Kodo off of him.

Sol briefly pondered how to defeat this opponent; he should use his swords superior reach and the fact that his opponent couldn't block it without damage to himself. He dashed towards Kodo using his right hand to make a pulling gesture causing a gust of wind to strike Kodo's back hopefully knocking him off balance. With his left hand he drew his sword again, a flash of steel coming towards her left side.

Sol twisted to follow Kodokuni's movement and was surprised as the chill let his body to be replaced with a raging heat, but this was something he could work with. Sol ducked and got inside of Kodo's punch as continued moving towards Kodo and swung his dull blade at Kodo's torso in the classic lighting fast movement of an iaito draw.
