Kalardia's capital city, Ivek. Night was started to fall once again over Ivek, some stars were already visible and the streets started to get crowded, the people could enjoy the fresh air of the night after a hot day of work, the merchants took this opportunity to make more money and so lowered the price of their products, children ran across the streets playing hide-and-seek or with balls made of leather while some adults yelled at them worried they may cause an accident. The guards looked at everyone who passed by suspiciously. Hotarubi was in the square, leaning against a tree, with a sweet smile on her face she watched the children play without worries. "I'd love to see everyone was this happy..." She told herself, watching children play was what she enjoyed the most, however there was a job to do that night, Hotarubi was wearing her thief clothes under her kimono, ready for the mission, but was not the time yet.

Deep inside of one of Kalardia's most grandest towers, a cloaked shadow moved swiftly in the twinkling moonlight. There was nothing on his form to make him noticeable, although his face - grim, scowling, and slightly symboled was evident. A length of parchment - a document written in golden ink - was skillfully folded and placed within a hidden pouch on his leg. As he dashed passed a guard, the cloaked shadow suddenly leaped up like a crow, disappearing out of the Tower's top floor without a sound. If one looked up at the night-sky, they would see a long, sharp, dark purple and black crow gliding through the air. A bit more concentration would show that the giant crow was, in fact, a human.

Hilda let out a small huff as she carried a hefty crate filled with spices. She had been consuming her time all evening with aiding a merchant whom had just received his goods from a foreign country. The young woman usually spent her days as such just to have a small amount of pocket money to roam about with. Though she did receive pay from picking off enemies, she did dabble a little in peasant life to make just a little more for herself and others if needed. "There you are my boy!" The old merchant patted Hilda's back as she set the crate down in front of him. "You've been working hard all day, I hope this isn't troubling." Hild shook her head in reply and wiped her forehead with the sleeve of her cotton blouse. "Here you are, take a little extra for being such a hard worker. You'll be quite a fitting man." The merchant placed a few coins in the palm of the presumed male's hand and wandered back into his shop, leaving Hilda to finish off her day. She shoved the coins into a small leather pouch holstered onto her hip and sauntered off. Her figure had disappeared into a looming spot in the alleyway and just as suddenly her armored silhouette had shimmied up walls and stood up on the roof.

Mason walked quietly down the streets. Her pink kimono felt tights around her but mainly due to her wearing her bright colored fighting gear beneath her kimono. She was heading towards where she had hid the rest of her supplies for the red haired girl had a job to do. She hated her hair being up in it's stupid bun but she did it for the sake of disguise.

Fleur snuck up behind Hilda, before suddenly clasping the woman's shoulder. "Busy watching, I see?" Fleur giggled. She was dressed in her thief clothes, with a bag slung across her shoulder. "I just got away with some gold myself. It won't be long before everyone is on alert" Her giggling continued. She had woken up with a spark to do her duty and to make the poor happier. "What have you done today?" She felt in the mood for a good brag, she took a deep breath and stretched.

Simbad walked through the crowd timing his movement with the rich looking merchant behind him and then suddenly stopped. As soon as the merchant bumped into him Simbad whirled around and got up into his face while simultaneously ripping the mans coin purse from his belt and shoving him. As always the rapid input of pushes left the poor merchant bewildered and totally unaware of his unfortunate loss, "Watch where you're going money bags." Simbad spat at the man disdainfully at the man the weapon at his belt keeping the man from arguing and walked away leaving him confused and a bit less wealthy. He quickly turned down an alleyway and looked at the loot he got, more than his usual pulls, this would be able to feed him for at least a couple weeks. As he glanced around he saw the red-headed girl in the pink kimono, Mason was her name, walking somewhere purposefully. Curious to see what she was up to he stalked her carefully keeping someone between them and several feet back.

Evanglina leans up against an alleyway near the square. She looks across the way and sees Hotarubi standing there quietly. Evanglina smiles, running her sharpening stone against one of her katanas. Her black wig hair fell in front of her face and she brushes it out of the way furiously. She hates the wig, but she has to keep it on in order to keep her secret. She looks at Hotarubi, waiting for her signal to go whenever she does. Hotarubi is still in her civilian clothing and Evanglina rolls her eyes. She wouldn't stay in her civilian clothing. Not this night at least.

Vallyn stared at his own left hand for the longest time, staring at the alabaster skin with a scrutinizing gaze. Every time he looked at his hands, all he saw were bloodstains. His entire life had been spent on revenge, and those around him had suffered fates worse than death. Allies, enemies, passerbies. They all died. The young man had remembered the King collecting him and the others for a task, the building of the guild, three months after his incarceration. "A chance to atone," Vallyn muttered to himself, clasped in the deepest shadows of the sewers. "Though will these acts ever clean these hands of mine?" The thief lamented. Dropping from his perch in the sewer, he landed upon the walkway with practiced grace and made his way towards the ladder. Like a spider, he managed his way up the rungs and slowly, and as silently as he could, removed the lid to the sewer. Propping himself out and quietly replacing the lid, Vallyn hastily made his way to the next shadow and followed it in the utmost silence. There was a job to do, after all.

From the corner of her eye the petite thief could see Evangelina sharpening her katanas. "Everything is ready..." Hotarubi thought and smiled, the time had come. A royal carriage and wagon could be seen coming slowly, due to all the people on the street, the guards were doing their best trying to keep the crowds away from the carriage and wagon, which was full of gold and jewels. "I have been planning this for a really long time, so there can make any mistake..." Hotarubi used a red string to tight her hair in a high pony tail, this was the signal for Evangelina to lit the fireworks...

Evaglina sees the signal and grins, running over to the fireworks near the center of the alleyway. She strikes her sharpening stone once more against her katanas, creating a spark. The sparks hit the fuses of the fireworks and she runs back, watching them go up into the night. The fireworks explode with green and pink sparks, and she looks to the carriage. She sees the horses beginning to freak out and the guards trying to calm them. She smiles again and lights off another batch. She would have to keep this up until the job is done.

Hilda turned her head to the side and simply shook her head as Fleur pestered her with boundless energy. "I moved crates and made money..." She mumbled in reply, shrugging her shoulders as she turned her head to stare at the fireworks distraction. "I won't do much tonight... And you, smaller one... What have you done today?"

(Click me!) Softly Nirayane played on her verdant sprite ocarina while resting atop one of the many tall trees that bristled above the bustling, cobblestone streets of the capital Ivek, soon to settle with the dying sun nestling herself behind the high hills of the west, casting lovely, warm shades of pinks, reds, and oranges across the ever darkening sky fading into a calm and serene evening. Her eyes were closed as the peaceful melody she composed upon the quaint, little instrument lulled her into a deep, almost ephemeral trance, a trance unfortunately she broke from when she heard a familiar voice below her, that of Hotarubi, a strange name for the lass, but then again Nira's name was hard to pronounce as well. Typical of the old Elvish dialect. Dmitri, the red tailed hawk perched gallantly upon her bare left shoulder, let out a screech to give away her position, in case her ocarina hadn't, and with that, the elven huntress leapt from her high perch atop the larch and with utmost grace landed on both feet safe and secure before Hotarubi, giving her a curt nod as greeting.

Distracted by the fireworks no one saw Hotarubi taking off her kimono, now only wearing her thief clothes. She quickly ran towards the wagon from behind and pulled her tanto from her sash. One of the guards saw the thief and ran towards her ready to empale her with his spear, however the female was faster, running in zig-zag and confusing the guard she quickly slammed him against the floor using a martial art movement. Because of the noise the fireworks caused the other guards did not hear their partner being knocked out.

And so it began with the first round of fireworks bursting bright and colorful in the night sky. Nirayane took to the rooftops just as the others scattered and carried on with their appointed tasks in this meticulously crafted late evening bedlam. With the velocity of a maelstrom, she darted across the terra-cotta plated roofs while her hawk Dmitri soared close by calling into the night and beating his majestic, gilded wings. Nirayane produced from her leather quiver an arrow, blunt at the tip, but that was the rule, no killing, no bloodshed...at least not this night, and though Nira went along with it, she only wished next time her steel arrowheads could taste fresh blood. However, though blunt as an ancient, rusty parring knife, the arrow could still do quite a bit of damage, just if the elf knew where to aim. She singled out two of the guards lumbering through the alleyway, their swords and their spades glinting dangerous in the pale light of the moon, but with two swift arrows delivered with the wind of Veralyn at their backs, the men dropped, not dead no, out cold as Nirayane heard the satisfying *ding* of her arrows striking their helms something fierce and rattling their brains. She had done so with the next batch of guardsmen before making her way towards the next row of houses with a swift leap across the alleyway. There! Nira commanded to her feathered ally with a shrill bird's whistle and a finger pointed towards the armor clad figure prowling through the roads in search of blood, Hotarubi's blood. Dmitri knew just what she meant, and without warning the hawk dove upon the guard as he would a scampering field rat trying to escape his sharp, ebony talons, such talons that were clawing at the meaty face of the fat guardsman, cantankerously him squawking, "Agh! By the gods! Get! Get this bloody bird off me!" Successfully he was able to shoo the hawk away, but not as successful to stop the arrow soaring for his head. *Thunk!* The dart hit its mark and like a freshly fallen tree the fat guard fell before Hotarubi, before his sword could even sink into her flesh. Nirayane will make note to remind the woman she owed her for that save.

Simbad glanced around to make sure no one was watching and then quickly and quietly scaled the building to his left and scuttled over the roof over the alley in time to see Mason took out her strange weapon. Interesting, Simbad had nothing better to do except for try to watch the fireworks that had gone off so he simply decided to keep following her to see what she was planning, something that involved combat to be sure.

Closing her shop down, Belaziri stocked her bag with her hemlock and belladona mixture as she slipped out the back and made her way down the street as the fireworks started to go off. Watching from the street she blended in with her clothes and made her way closer to the carriage and waited for her chance to step in, looking around for the others.

Hotarubi watched one of the guards being knocked out by Nirayane's arrows, she looked at the archer and rised her hand with the thumb up. The people inside the carriage were no other but a prince and princess from a border country, its seems they had come in order to improve their relationship with Kalardia. However the meeting with the King never took place. "What is going on!?" The prince asked furiously, his siter, the princess look at him nervously "Maybe they prepared the fireworks to welcome us..." She said before the head a guard got slammed against the window of the carriage, breaking it into pieces. The princess freaked out but the prince had to show how brave he was and so took his sword and got out of the carriage, his siter, not wanting to be alone followed her brother. "Guards! Attack!" The prince shouted, 6 guards surrounded Hotarubi, who was already in battle with a guard.

Ivek city guards, some of the most well trained, known, and armed people in the land. They were known for their "less than delicate" handling of thieves they captured and know six of them had Hotarubi surrounded after she attempted to rob a royal carriage, pretty much a death sentence. Or in other words some pretty damn good fun to Roland. One of the guards was starting to advance towards Hotarubi, sword in hand, before a blur of motion vaulted over his shoulder, causing the man to yell out in pain and his sword arm to go limp and drop his blade. After a moment a thin figure shrouded in black rags was standing next to Hotarubi. "Getting into more fun eh?" The figure said to Hotarubi, a smirk in its tone. It then looked to the guards and clapped its hands together. "So boys, who is first?!" It said with another laugh, Roland did enjoy the situations he got in with the guild.

Simbad glanced over at the street and saw the fight wasn't going as well as it was planned. It was supposed to be a quick in and out job without enough time for the guards to arrive. He frowned temporarily split between following Mason and helping Hotarubi but quickly decided to help fight the guards. He leapt off the roof he was on hurling daggers as he fell turning one of the guards into a pincushion and landing next to Hotarubi. He whipped out his sword breaker in one hand and a dagger in the other, "Even you should know this is to many boys to handle by yourself." he said grinning at her.
