As Sol swept down for the low sweep to his surprise Mithrail leaped over it and attempted to use her legs in an hammer strike head. Sol managed to roll to the side out of the way of the devastating kick and did another leg sweep. This time he was sure he could force her to the ground as she would have no time to jump again.

Sol grunted, "You haven't won yet, and I made a promise on my honor not my pride princess, something you wouldn't understand." and charged forward with no actual intention of hitting her as he couldn't do anything to her besides throw her. If she didn't react by the time he got there he would just go for a leg sweep.

Sol growled, this fight might be unwinnable, but he wasn't going to give up. His dazed mind barely reacting fast enough to register Mithrail attacking again. He frantically dodged and batted away the attacks but he got off balance just as another blow headed directly towards him, Sol dropped his sword brought his sheath up to block. The poor thing had the metal coating instantly shattered and Sol was sent flying backward, huffing from the impact on his arms and slightly bleeding from the shards that were sent flying leaving him with a limp piece of leather. He dropped the leather and shakily took a new defensive stance waiting for Mithrail to attack again.

Sol grunted as pain blossomed in his elbow and then was thrown aside slamming into the wall of magic from the force of her unnatural strength. "Welp" he thought as he shakily stood up, "that cleared that up." Obviously the only way he could even attack her was with his sword or else he would just hurt himself. He shook himself off and readied himself as Mithrail stood back up. He let her make the first move this time.

His buffing was result of his older brothers tampering and i believe Chase "Fixed" him. His cards were his orginal source of magic i believe

Time froze for a second and Sol frantically considered what he could possibly do to take advantage of this or just how to beat this dang Celestial at all. She was stronger than him, and she was immune to all his attacks, there was no way he could survive grappling with her. Perhaps there way no way, but that didn't mean he was going to stop trying. Time resumed and Sol stuck out his leg and slammed his body into her. As Mithrail fell to the floor, he hurled himself to the ground driving his elbow into her solar plexus as they both slammed into the ground.
