Leon grinned lazily, "Dignified? I don't think that term describes either of us and it certainly doesn't describe me. You know as well as I do that there aren't any guards around, they're all dealing with all the hungry and angry farmers on the outskirts and the savages attacking from the south." Leon started walking faster nearly running with his long strides. "So no, I don't think that there's much risk here and it’s became a bit of a point to get rid of you because I just have the hardest time when some idiot like you shows up and tries to ruin my set-up. Everyone in this town lends an ear my way when I talk, and if they don't I cut it off!" He shouted accenting the word with another knife thrown directly at the center of Charles's chest.
Sorom walked into the large temple quickly taking in its familiar setting at a glance drops of sweat still visible from his workout and the glaring heat of the noon-time sun. He had practically built half the temple himself giving it much of its current glory. Sorom inhaled deeply of the prevailing scent of incense that was nearly trademark of the dark building. He strode through the building ignoring the priests that he was an everyday sight to by now and arrived at his custom room, passing by the statues and pews that were used by the everyday worshippers. He grabbed a torch that lay just outside the room and walked into the pitch black room that he used for his prayer and made his way through my memory.

He lit the four candles that stood at each of the cardinal directions before extinguishing the torch and setting it down. Then he sat cross legged on the ground and removed his short sword from his belt laying it gently on the ground next to him. Sorom silently cried out to the god of doom once again as he did every day. Why had this befallen his family? Why couldn't he stop it? Why did everyone die? Why did anyone die? And secretly a small part of him asked, why will I die?

Personality

Sorom is a rather depressing character who doesn't have much trust in anything at this point besides that everyone is going to die. He almost never displays strong emotion, and is very un-trusting. Sorom is also very lazy and doesn't like putting much effort into anything. Of course all this only happened after he gained his powers, before he was your average happy kid, with friends, nice parents, and anything he wanted.

Physical description

Sorom wears simple black leather clothing similar to that of a gladiator with matching muscles. He stands at 5"8' His eyes are a intimating pitch-black with an utter lack of life to them. He has fairly well tanned skin and wears sandals and a shortsword with him.

Daily Life

Sorom wakes early in the morning and trains until around 3;00 in the afternoon most days, then spends several hours in prayers. After that the rest of the day is either spent wandering the city or staying in his adopted family's massive house.

Reason For Joining Demi-Life

Sorom was born a single child into a rich family with loving parents and all the friends and toys he could wish for. Of course such a blessed life was not to last, his family loved living in the forest in their cabin, more of a mansion really, in the woods. Their money naturally brought them enemies and finally one day as they frivolous spent time in their vacation home, assassins came. That same night Sorom had decided that he wanted to spend a night camping outside all by his self and so he wasn't in the house. A child of 13 at the time his parents let him. When he came back into the mansion the next morning full of pride he found nothing but his families bodies and red coated floors.

In a wailing voice he asked the Gods why this had happened, but there was no answer. Finally the boy stood up and slowly walked back into town. He was welcomed back and when he relayed the sad tale a family that was good friends of his own take him and raised him. Since then he has practically been a ghost and spends everyday praying for an answer. Eating and drinking only enough to keep himself alive he was briefly brought of his stupor by the son of his adopted family. An avid military man he saw the solution to Sorom's depression to make him do physical work until he forgot about it. Sorom reluctantly went along with the plan developing a fine physique and an expert knowledge of combat, but not losing his lack of interest in life.

Desired Skill from Patron

Slight future sight, in the form of predicting the future, and seeing what someone is about to do when it threatens him.

Sins/Flaws

Finds it hard to trust anyone.
Finds it hard to empathize with other people coming off as cold and spiteful.
Comes off as lazy.
Seems to have a lack of morals.

Virtues/Morals

Has a strong will to live and hates killing.
Is an expert in most forms of combat including unarmed.
I wasn't planning on using it frequently, i just saw it as an easy way to deal with the Twili being exhausted although i suppose him enetering the Twilight zone would do that just as well. I can edit if you want.
Bristlebane was about to bite into his delicous cotton candy when he heard an ear-piercing scream from behind combined with an intense feeling of emitted power. Conecedentally the carnival vanished around him inculding the candy in his hand. Dissapointed he nevertheless looked around trying to find the source of trauma for his fellow guild mates. Seeing nothing that seemed evil just some guy trying to help Xaiver snap out his trance Bristlebane scaled the nearest building and attempted to find the souce of the cinnamon smell. Sniffing around carefully he tried to trace it to it's source while scouring the town with his eyes.
Bristlebane having recieved no answer from the master decided to test something. He scopped a hole in the soft upper layer of ground and reached around with his tendrils of magic. *seeing* through them he luckily found a small pool of water underground, experimenting with his new powers he slowly pushed the dirt apart betwenn the water and the surface and to his surpise it moved quite easily allowing the water to gush up and fill the small hole he had made. Grinning and proud of himself he took a well-earned sip of water.
I will make a character soonish. I'm just lazy and busy
