Krysthane took a step back as some guy rounded the corner the same time she did and bumped into her. She quickly attempted to utter an apology but he beat her to it. Her face light up when he said something about bowling. That was a perfect idea, she had been wondering what to do, she could take her team on a bowling trip. She had never tried it before but from all accounts it was a fun time.

"No no I'm fine, thoooooough if you're going bowling, perhaps you'd um, show me the way? As soon as I get my team that is. I was planning on doing something teambuilding-y, but I didn't really have any ideas until you said something about bowling so know I'm planning on doing that. So ya?" Krysthane asked gathering speed as she talked and ending with what she hoped counted as a friendly smile. A quick survey noted the guy in question had eyes a remarkably pleasant shade of blue and an equally pleasantly developed body.
Sorry totally spaced on that, working on it.
I like the idea of combo attacks, gives it a little more than, "everyone hit them" to the game. Not that you haven't done a good job of making it more than that.
Alex grinned, so far so good. He liked the idea of having an Ironback for a pet, a few cons but the pros far outweighed them. He dropped two more pieces of meat and then the whole leg in a trail of meat leading to the center of the small clearing. Then he slowly grabbed his Naginata and began drawing the first circle of the rune around the area with the blade, with the intent of finishing it quickly. He gave the creature plenty of room so as not to scare it off. As he began the process he heard a loud buzzing sound steadily getting louder and a gunshot as well. It seemed like the others finding creatures as well, if he finished this quickly he could see if they needed help. Hopefully the Ironback would stay still long enough for him to complete the rune, though he had a feeling that it wouldn't be so compliant. Hope for the best and plan for the worst.
*sad boop*
If someone can make a quick post just affirming that we're dueling and add the wager we can post the duel and move on. If no one else does it i'll do it in no later than a day.
Alexander was surprised by the creatures agility, climbing a tree without even looking was rather impressive. If it decided to attack he would have to be careful. More importantly how in the nine was he going to turn this creature? Fighting it seemed difficult at best, no the thing could easily overpower him and either attempt to kill him or run. He was beginning to regret not bringing someone along, an extra body could be quite helpful right now. Worse yet he had nothing to convince it to trust him- Alex suddenly flashed back to the picnic, he had stashed a chicken leg wrapped up in a napkin in his pack.

Perhaps that would suffice. He would've tried setting up the rune and then baiting it in, but if the lizard touched any part of the rune it could be ruined. Well he would attempt to make it trust him, or at least stay in the same place long enough to draw the rune. If that failed he could kill some of the wildlife he saw everywhere, track this lizard down again and see if he could convince it then. For now he tore off a strip of chicken and set it on the ground in front of him, backing away several feet still holding his empty hands out in a pacifying gesture.
Will and Beevil sat in a corner, Beevil nursing a beer and Will his water. "I really don't think its a good idea to let Jane come. It could be dangerous, it'd be better that she stay at home." Will pleaded with his brother. "Oh you're just being a worry wart, it just a cave, what could be in there? Besides even if there was something in there you and me could take care of it, and I think she needs a little adventure to take her mind of that her scumbag betrothed." Beevil said confidently waving aside the Will's protests. Currently they were simply having dinner and discussing their plans for the morning when the ferry left. And of course debating on whether any of them should go. Beevil thought they should all go and of course roped Will into it. Will was alright with being dragged along but he didn't think Jane should go and it had been a source of constant debate since Beevil brought the idea up.
Sorom glanced over both paths. "Better the devil you know then the devil you don't so to speak." he said quitely and made his way down that path with treveant. He waited until the demon's meandering turned its back to the group then Gallade silently charged forward aiming to finish it in a single blow, using the same technique that had dealt with the other one. Ralts opted to boost Gallde's strength instead of making an attack of its own.
