I'm not victim blaming but all generalizations are false, even this one.

Couldn't use the link, prob cause school has it blocked, so I just used Orokos. Base two dice +1 from Iron Will(determination of serach). Searching For Clues: 3d6(5, 1, 4) Taking the highest dice gives me a result of 5, also known as COMPLETE FAILURE XD
Ghostposters have decided Leaves was the only one that needed to post so we good for an update when you are. :D
Rapunzel looked around, hm, it seemed that there wasn't much here, but it was still work poking around before moving on. Rapunzel slightly moved further into the camp, looking around, hair lifting objects as she carefully scanned the area for any clues of what had happened here. Perhaps it was just superstition but it didn't hurt to make sure. Of course Rapunzel was no tracker but spending your days looking for possibly fatal traps give you an eye for detail.
Nah I'ma say enough time passed that Raze started going down before she reached the elevator. Very awk otherwise, which would be funny but not the plan. XD
Alex

Alex rubbed his face ruefully and looked at his dirt caked muffin. This is what he got for trying to help people, a bruise and waste of food. Dang she'd hit him hard though, perks of the job probably. Alex regained his own feet somewhat gracefully considering the circumstances and sighed at the irate women's question. "No need to be rude." Alex admonished her, covering his ears is mock pain. "Its not really that complicated. For some reason a bunch of people got some powers the seem based off of champions from league. Guessing from your over-sized mechincal fists you got Vi, that guy in the suit back there got bard. As an unfortunate side effect he can't talk either, just make weird noises, well most of the time. That's the first time he's done that as far as I know. As for me, I'm just handy with a knife which leaves me split between Talon and Zed. Course with shadow slinker gone unless duplicates are fair game I'd say Talon is my draw. Anyway that just about sums up my knowledge of what's going on. Anything else?" Alex frowned at his muffin again. Ah well, it was only a little dirt, he brushed it off on his sleeve and took a bite of it, chewing thoughtfully. A little gritty but otherwise alright.

Artemis

One corner of Artemis's mouth turned down in the only immediately visible outward reaction she gave to her rebuttals. Raze certainly hadn't held back. Perhaps he had a point. Though she didn't really spend on that much on her cosplays, the materials were usually quite cheap, more a matter of time than anything else. Of course Raze overestimated her. Even his analogy was poorly placed. Perhaps she did have the biggest water pail, but it was still useless against the a burning world. It wasn't like Artemis could upgrade the police force, create a charity to feed children in India, or do anything revolutionary. When Sam turned on her as well Artemis realized that she was angry.

Quite a bit angry in fact gauging by her clenched fists. Artemis flexed her hand experimentally. Couldn't they see she was only taking logical actions. The man's reaction had surprised her and she had no desire to see it happen again, yet was unable to define what he'd been afraid of so termed it as vaguely as possible. Raze himself had said that the government had weapons they made their abilities look like kiddie toys! How many times had civilians gotten in the way of police work by styling themselves as vigilanties? When had it ended well save for in comic books and cheesy movies? And going out on his own would only make things worse. But he seemed honestly convinced that not only could they make a difference, but that he could make a difference. How insufferably pigheaded of him. Artemis took a steadying breath and nocked her glass up with a single pointer finger.

"Interesting." she muttered to herself before looking around again. "Your statements have been considered. I will attempt to-" Gah, her way of speaking was not cold. It was simply logical: was it that hard to see the truth? What an odd mental phrasing. She resumed speaking, slightly stronger now, "I will attempt to refrain from saying 'cold shit' in the future and consider your request Liam. I will leave now." That was enough interacting with people for one day. When was the last time she'd spent this long actually talking to people as herself? Talking and walking around at an event in a full cosplay was entirely different from what today had been like. Playing games with other people was different from this. Everything was different from this. Upon the completion of her statement Artemis turned on her heels and walked out of the room after Raze, not even acknowledging Liam's offer of beer. Artemis was going home. This had been a rather overwhelming experience and she needed time to process and, surprisingly enough, cool down. Perhaps. . . No, she would think on this later. Right now she just wanted to be home, play some relaxing music, drink some hot chocolate, and take a nap.
Wouldn't be so sure, it is a hard mission after all :<
@Kiroue You make such long and quality dang posts >.<

EDIT: Hey, is it alright if I ask what kind of journey you're trying to take your characters on? Or what do you see them battling with?
What's going on in your guys' characters mind? (If you're willing to share.)

Artemis is that somewhat spoiled kid who has never really thought of anyone other than herself very much. Diana's personality will conflict a little with her normally passive stance, usually she avoids gets involved in too much. However with recent events seeing how things change will be interesting. She's in a bit of a character lurch right now.

Alex is just trying to get by however he can, if it comes into his mind that he could use his powers for less than savory purposes or gets recruited interesting things could happen. He's a mostly nice guy though.
Hey, big nasty conflict-inducing posts are way more fun. You've made Artemis actually do some thinking. XD
Alexander came to a halt as another spike of pain drove through his brain, loosening his tenacious hold on Larion. The insight into Larion's condition was hardly helpful and only served to worry him more. If Larion was plagued then what would happen to him? What would happen to Alexander? He tilted his head at the sound of hooves slamming into the ground behind him. Imgor he assumed, no one else would have any reason to be out here at this time.

Alexander noted the question and tried to formulate a response. Alright would be a dramatic overstatement, but could he make it to the castle? Would that even help? Of course it would, surely once Joshua became aware of the situation he would know what to do to fix it. "Just... tired and a bit of a headache is all." he replied and started walking again, standing a little straighter, still using his staff as a walking stick. He had to get to Joshua. For Larion's sake.

"Really? It doesn't look like just a headache, you are using your staff as a walking stick at this age." Imgor was a little bit worried, now that he had a better look at both. "Do you need a ride?"

Alexander shrugged. He wasn't sure if the doubtless worsening of his condition from the horse ride would be worth the speed. Did he trust in his own strength enough? Yes. "Its fine I assure you. Though I can use a ride." Alexander said quitely and prepared himself. He leapt onto the horse in a surprisingly smooth motion given his condition. "Lets get going."

The moment Alexander was on Imgor's horse, he kicked its flanks softly, ordering it to quickly gallop towards the castle. Hopefully Larion could keep up with it in his condition. "If it doesn't bother you, may I ask if you know the reason for your current condition?" He might as well find out more on the ride.

Alexander merely grunted, making his response to the question rather clear. His focus was divided enough as it was trying to stay mounted while maintaining his grip on Larion's slippery mental state, trying to explain what happened when he barely understood it himself wouldn't be doing anyone any favors.

The rest of the trip to the castle was spent in utter silence, Larion all the while barely keeping up with them. The trip made it difficult for Alex to concentrate, however it was just enough to not lose his familiar to whatever force was trying to yank him away.

As they reached the flight of stairs that led to the main gate of the castle the two took note of the scorched remains at the bottom of those stairs.

Considering it was a bad idea for a horse to trot over stairs with two people on it, Imgor decided it would be best to stop here and walk the rest on foot.

Alexander managed to slip off the horse without collapsing to the ground. He slowly began walking down the stairs after Imgor. Where in the nine was Joshua and what were they doing at this place?
