Eldarin noted her statement carefully. So drinking from the river had turned the little fox he had seen earlier, into this? That was what being Godless was? That man was right then, drinking from the river would've been a mistake. "I'm sorry. Is there anything I could do to make up for this?" He asked calmly. His heart felt like a rope, brutally yanked back and forth between the women's sorrow and his own reasoning that there was nothing more he could've done. If only he could've done something different. Now that his adrenaline was slowly fading he could acutely feel the pain of the twin wounds on his arms. Eldarin really needed to bandage them if he didn't want them to get infected, having only one arm would make life much more difficult and he had no desire to find out just how much.

Orion winced at the heavy hand that smacked down on his chest, he could pratically feel the bleeding start again, though he may've imagined it. "Uh, yeah, well. That was kind of a one time deal." Orion didn't mention that he could've quite probably killed them all if he hadn't practically died fighting the ghost. Orion then turned and eagerly drank from the offered glass and leaned back with a sigh of relief. "Ya, we make a pretty awesome team, so we can probably take down any quest if we work together on it." he said in response to Sonia's question. Apartment acquired, thirst sated- his mental checklist of things goes well was interrupted when an angry lion man burst into the room with pounding loud music and shining like he was made of gold. Orion instinctively raised his arms to cover his ears and winced at the pain that came with it. "Mind being a little louder mate? I think my ears are still working." Joking but serious all the same, he'd heard wild animals fight with less noise than that. "We killed a ghosty thing and got the sweet house, mind turning the music off?" answering the loud man's question seemed to be a good way to start. Orion had no idea how the guy was playing music, probably some crazy magic stuff, that seemed to be the explanation for most things around here. Or why he was a lion, but anthro's seemed to be the norm here. Which incidentally was really freaking cool as long as they weren't trying to kill you.
