I'm not victim blaming but all generalizations are false, even this one.

Sigrdrífa Rylo

Sigrdrífa tilted her head curiously. It made sense in that twisted sort of sense that riddles did. Juniper seemed violently opposed to the next logical conclusion but Sigrdrífa didn't think the concern was valid. "Now now, no need to overreact. I believe we have at least a mage with us no? Most mages have the ability to create fire from what little I know of magic. Therefor does it not stand to reason that we should put out the torches? If the answers to the riddles form a command than it would form something along the lines of, 'torches something embrace darkness'. If nothing happens we have lost nothing, if it is the answer than we have advanced." Having outlined her arguement in a logical manner Sigrdrífa fell silent. Personally the darkness was not such a thing to fear in her opinion altogether but that was a matter of personal preference. Sigrdrífa held her torch angled towards the wall suggestively, as though she were to grind it out against the wall, and awaited a response to her suggestion.
Routine response to being poked.
Eldarin halted at the distinctly grating sound of grinding stone, for a moment he thought he had stepped on a trap of some sort. The statue's head rotating was the second warning he received and just enough warning for Eldarin to turn the blade with his shield. The heavy sword smashing into his shield still hurt his arm but it was better than the weapon smashing into his head. Honestly it was more of a club than a sword considering its weight and bluntness but clubs still killed people. Eldarin was unsure of how to go about attacking a stone opponent so he quickly backed away further down the hallway while his opponent hopefully recovered its balance from the swing.

If statues did that. Going for the eyes would likely do nothing, perhaps the stone was old enough he could chip away at it with his sword? He was reluctant to use the explosive amount of magic that would be required to do damage to it in such an enclosed space. If he saw a chance to strike he would do so, otherwise it might be best to flee further down into the temple. He didn't know how far the statue would chase him so that could become troublesome but if he couldn't hurt the statue he had little other choice.

Sorry for being slow. I did make a character but accidentally lost it. I'll get him up again today or tommorow. T.T
Well I basically just wrote what had already happened and a few thoughts on the matter. Its not like I really advanced anything in my opinion. In regards to your complaint though, I'll stop mine and simply make posts when needed rather than excessively worrying about quality.
If we're still going then I am. Also I'd be willing to play Shadowcat's dragon if he/she/it/they still want it.
