I'm not victim blaming but all generalizations are false, even this one.

Eldarin shrugged. It would do better than his old one, though adjusting to the slight increase in weight might be a little strange. Leaving his buckler behind Eldarin grabbed his torch again and pressed onward in the temple, now watching for more killer architecture. Hopefully none of the pillars or anything would come to life, now that would be troublesome.
The flames quenched themselves as soon as Eldarin made sure the statue wasn't moving anymore. Breathing hard at the exertion Eldarin glanced at the shield that was all that was left of the statue other than shattered fragments. His own buckler looked admittedly inadequate beside the statue's shield with its greater size. Curious Eldarin dropped his own buckler and hefted the other shield experimentally, moving it around a little to test its weight. He would like to use it, but if it was too bulky he would leave it behind.

Doesn't it not affect them anyway since they have rank?
Yeah that works for me, new verison. Though given its now a one time would a buff to all monsters like its now written be suitable? If not than the level 4 or lower change works as well.

The only argument I have there is its not much worse than "and the band played on", but it is a little worse. Maybe if it was only out for like two or three of opponent's EPs?
Niles yawned sleepily, she still hadn't fully woken up from the nap she'd taken after 'helping' with the wurm. Mostly she'd just pretended to help and gotten a few coins out of it, so overall it had been rather fruitful. But her hears still perked up at the sound of a necromancer. Dead people tended to be buried with things. Necormancer's tended to take those things in addition to the valuables of whoever they killed. In other words he probably had a bunch of shiny things with him and Niles loved taking shiny things. Unfortunately when she'd gone out to help with the wurm the coyote had slipped away from her and now she had no idea where he was. Now more interested in this necromancer Niles gulped down a drink, the rush of alcohol and the burning sensation with it fully waking her up and tossed a few coins to the barkeep, who snatched them up with nimble fingers. "Let's go find ourselves a necro." Niles said cheerily and waltzed outside of the bar. The cementary hm? Shouldn't be too tough to sneak into, after all they weren't exactly built for keeping people out. And they usually did an even worse job of keeping people in when necromancers were about.
I'll be honest I spend about three seconds thinking of cool cards and was like eh this might work. Could be totally abuseable idk XD

Alexander let out audible sigh of relief as he lay on the cool stone floor. No longer needing to focus on walking, or even standing, with the cool feeling of solid ground at his back, and the needles driving into his head lessening in severity, he felt much better. Still, this only reinforced his determination to keep his hold on Larion, a task that was now merely difficulty than requiring nearly the entire focus of his whole being. The word "Thanks." passed through his lips in a whisper and his eyes closed, all his attention on Larion.
