In his extended position to finish off the first statue he was unable to easily dodge the next statue's attack, forcing him to take the attack fully on his shield. Eldarin winced before the blow even hit, smashing against the shield and hurtling him to the side, where only a quick recovery saved him from clunking into a pillar and dazing himself. Now Eldarin had regained his feet and was ready to finish off the next statue, albeit with bruised arm and shoulder area and he was fairly confident he had a cut on his neck from the roll but no major damage. He hoped he wouldn't have to down another one of his bottles already, after all, it was only one statue at this point. Ready to engage once more Eldarin stepped forward into range, sword quickly thrusting at the statue's face. However once again, the motion stepped an inch before the statue's face and Eldarin spun to the side of the statue, on the same side as its shield, avoiding any retaliatory strike and smashing his longsword with all his might into the side of the statue's head. If it dropped its guard when no attack came the following swing should destroy its head. If it counterattacked upon receiving no blow his spin would avoid it and the following blow would strike before the statue could defend itself. Finally if the statue kept its shield in position the force of the blow would be split between the side of the shield and the statue's stone head.
Alex

Alex internally winced momentarily at her aggressive response to his nick name and breathed an equally internal sigh of relief when she was chill with it. "Sure, garage sounds good." he didn't know if it was quite a good idea to have a sparring match with someone he barely knew in an isolated location but hey, what could go wrong right? After all they were both champions. He followed her to the table and patiently waited as she issued her invitation, examining those sitting momentarily, Vicki had shown up here, along with several other people that were vaguely familiar. Before he could think any further on it a man with a shotgun caused some ruckus, the distinctive combination of shotgun, cigar, and self-confidence led to the un-mistakeable assumption that this man was graves. It seemed several other champions were distinctively ticked off at the man, but Alex was more interested in the job offer. Money was always cool and it might even pay really well given he wanted champions and all that. Sam's inferno of anger would make that a little hard though, and he took several steps back as she stormed out of the booth. Raising his hand Alex said to the man, "If you manage to get out of here alive talk to me about that job k?" and promptly took several more steps backwards and stepped into booth, both to protect himself from the intense heat and any gunfire.

Artemis

Artemis's eyes narrowed slightly in concentration as Sam failed to acknowledge her handshake and began talking to Vicki. Something had unsettled her to make her so distracted and ready to move on. Odd. Any further pondering of the subject was interrupted by two individuals coming over, the larger female asking if any of them wanted to participant in some sort of champion matchup. Artemis had no intention of doing so but found the idea of watching informative and cleared her throat to speak. Then, was promptly interrupted by a gunshot and demands along with angry yelling. Graves it was. Sam immediately stormed in out fiery rage at the man and the purple haired man offered the now shot Liam assistance. Yet another person, the malzahar, suddenly ran into the cafe blindly, unaware of the gunman's warning. Rather than trying to made an action in all this chaos Artemis leaned back, gathering shimmering moonlight in a ball in her hands underneath the table, merely observing the scene. This gunman must have some sort of support if he anticipated even as many as three champions here, or had a gross overestimation of his own skills. Something else was going on here, Artemis was sure of it.

Pristin City

Titania shivered, even beneath her layers upon layers of clothing. Lilith was equally bundled and looked like a little snowman with how fat the clothing made her look. "At least there aren't many zombies here right?" Titania asked Lilith with a quick smile. Lilith gave her a weak grin in return and returned to scanning the area for zombies or anything that didn't look totally looted. They came around a corner and spotted a few zombies hanging relatively near a pokemart. Silently they ducked back and Titania pondered what to do. The Pokemart just might have some medicine and other stuffs. "Alright let's sneak in, no attention." Lilith nodded, grabbed in her hand and stepped in view of the store for just a moment, the next they were inside with no one the wiser.

With a silent nod to each other they snuck deeper into the store. Unfortunately for the most part it looked looted. But usually Pokemarts had like a backroom with a bunch of stuff in them right? A peek further into the store lead to turning the corner just as a loud thump occurred, causing her to jump in fright. Her rapidly thudding heart calmed down slightly when she saw it was an actual person, with a Blaziken no less. Obviously she didn't have to look like a mannequin someone had put as many winter clothes on as possible with her Pokemon warming her up. Still! She'd finally found someone! "Um, hi there." Titania said quietly from where she was a few feet behind Emma, unsure how to proceed from this point. She hadn't quite thought it out this far.

Hmmm, its still REALLY SCARY. But in 4k format that selfburn is really strong as well. Perhaps if there was a "you control no monsters" clause or something. I feel like its a teeny bit too strong as is. Eh, just my thoughts. I mean you can just trigger it in MP1 and get a free synchro for big range of stuff then not pay the cost which is a little silly.
This graves better have a lot of cdr, as the saying goes, "you stepped into the wrong neighborhood."
