Aw shit, if that thing dropped on them no amount of amour in the world would do them any good. But, with that thing gone Eldarin's eyes lit upon the key. He only needed a few seconds. But the beast might be waiting for that and leaving it alive would doubtless end up causing them more trouble. "Retreat to the doorway on my signal, it won't be able to creep above us there." That said Eldarin took a deep breath and hurled a flash of flame upwards, it would slowly sink down functioning in the same way as a flare. Then he would attempt to make good on his plan and retreat to the doorway so the armored creature couldn't lurk above them. They would have to hold at the doorway or else it would get into the next room and they would suffer the same problem. Plus it would limit the monster's ability to swing at them, allowing them greater ease in defending.

Artemis turned and frowned at Raze. The one who wanted to be a vigilante from the start. As long as he didn't get caught up his role and become lost in it, which might very well be what was happening, or soon would. "Perhaps she is your enemy, but she is also a person whom I suspect had little choice regarding her participation in this affair." His exhaustion meant that even if he wanted to stop her he would be unable to, though Artemis didn't seek to make an enemy out of him she had questions for this women, as well as the need to make sure she was healthy. With that done Artemis returned to her original course, homeward.

Nishka gave the teacher an analyzing stare as Miss M entered the room. An incident hm? Well that was a barely passable excuse, really she should've been here regardless but whatever. Maths, English and something that sounded slightly too complicated to be fun, whilst the others were like normal classes. Bleh. Nishka glanced at the letter that made its way to her desk and glanced at it. Wow. The surest way to inform somebody that they were on a date, was to tell them they weren't on a date. What was this middle school? "Sure nerd, I'll meet you at the gates." Nishka said without any attempt at keeping it discreet. Presumably he'd wanted to go without anybody knowing but that would honestly be kinda creepy. Not like she cared if anybody cared.

So cool! Acting all modest and stuff only made his skill more obvious. Even the rather odd Professor Palm noticed it, though what was even more surprising was his acknowledgement of the group of three he was in. They'd done nothing except accept the stickers, though for some reason Vuduin seemed to sense that the professor knew that anyway. Those eyes of his were disconcerting. Still, they were being given a chance to be honored. Already Vuduin's journey to become a hero had started off well, receiving thanks from a prominent professor! This day was shaping up to be better than Vuduin had dared to hope. "Thank you for your kind words sir, I think I can safely say that we'd all be honored to receive your thanks tonight for our small contribution." Vuduin said elegantly. Budew stared at the professor with unveiled interest. Apparently it found him to be quite interesting. "Dew." it said quitely to itself in a sort of musing way.
