New Beginnings Tournament.

I did a thing. I don't know if weight is at all proportional to height or I messed up anything else. I assume the experience level section was for us so I put low. Feel like I may not have adequately enough described magic but wasn't sure how specific I needed to be. Gear is made of average stuff available in medieval times, so like iron and whatnot. (I assume). So there it is, feel free to give feedback.

Name: Rindheart Jolnor

Age: 36

Height/Weight: 5 feet 6 inches and about 190 pounds

Personality
A rather hardened individual, Rindheart is a bit crusty. He talks roughly, doesn't care overly much for pleasantries, and generally appears to not like anybody. If you can keep up with his rough ways you'll find him somewhat likable, much in the way that being watching someone insult someone else is better than being insulted.

-Wooden Bucker with metal rim
-Bag O Metal. It's a bag of metal that Rindheart keeps around for utility, it's about the size of a watermelon.
-Wooden Staff

Magic

Rindheart has a good control over the earth. He can control earth within around 10 meters of himself, his control weakening the further away it gets. He is fairly powerful at closer range, able be to raise or lower towershield sized segments of earth within two seconds at close ranges. Control is easier if he makes a motion that mimics the one he's causing, than he can move earth without motions its significantly weaker.

Metal Magic: Rindheart has a equally potent, but much shorter in range, control of metal. It extends just barely past his armor, making it effectively touch range. This can be used to help deflect metal weaponry, but not repulse it entirely. He can however, send metal he's holding outwards with force approximately equal to a crossbow.

Abilities

Physique: Rindheart has been through a significant amount of battles and lived through all of them. He's rather strong and has in particular a remarkable amount of endurance, able to take minor wounds like candies.

Battle Sense: Rindheart's experience with battle gives him a natural sense of flow for combat and makes him quite crafty when looking for a way to win. His mind is quicker than his body and can make split-second decisions while factoring in everything to make the best move. Nothing supernatural, but something a young blood wouldn't have.

Weapon Expertise: Rindheart can use a great deal of weapons with a high level of proficiency and even create his own makeshift weapons to serve for the situation at hand.

Experience level: Low

Probably make use of the rule for most super powers not affecting people in weird ways rule. Otherwise you know Marius could break blood vessels and stuff.

Courtyard

Anagorm thought about the events, planning what she could use her quirk to help with and what she'd have to simply do on her own. Throwing, Grip Strength, maybe Long Jump. Everything else was pretty much just going to be on her own. Urk, only like three out of seven? She definitely needed to spend more time studying on her bugs. Anagorm stepped up to the throw, at least determineded to do well here. Of course she didn't want to go all out for a couple of reasons, 1/3 of her max strength should work. Her arms bulked up, taking on a slight discoloration and a light form of exoskeleton.

Then she proceeded to hurl the ball further than anyone else could manage, netting herself an easy, albeit her only, first. Next up was grip strength, by this time Ana had reverted and now morphed her hands into scorpion pincers, crushing it pretty hard, probably only to be bested by the local giant. Long Jump. Hmm, she could grow some wings, but they'd kind of mess with her clothing plus she wanted to keep that part a secret for now. Normal Long Jump it was. For the rest of her events Anagorm preformed well relatively speaking, but anybody with a quirk that helped them in those events would top her. She needed to get some more bugs for sure.

Slightly winded from the exercises, Anagorm headed over to a nice shadey spot, unoccupied, and decided to watch other people's events. She wasn't looking for anyone in particular, just sizing up the competition. Studying people was a lot like studying bugs, lots of bugs had superpowers in their own rights. Though she could imagine that most people would think being compared to bugs insulting, it made her smile a little. Bugs were amazing if you took the time to understand them, if anything it was a compliment.

Shatterpoint nodded. "I'll try to give you an opening. Tommorow we will meet where we first found you." It seemed Shatterpoint suspected they might not get a chance to chat after this, perhaps he was aware that Wisp might just run away? Well he didn't seem very worried about it either way. Shatterpoint descended the stairs, stopping as soon as he took his first step on the floor. "Stand down! What does submitting entail torando-man?" He asked, projecting his voice loudly but speaking calmly, he was standing rather passively. From first glance it seemed he was willing to consider surrender, but cornered rats seldomly went down without a fight.
