Morning would be fine.
Hey Nytefall, around when did your character arrive in Leyawiin, as it is early morning right now for the others?
Ssarak Dyreackthanose
Ssarak sat down on his bed, staring Leith down as he tried to make sense of what he was saying. By the end of his explanation, Ssarak found himself...somewhat understanding the situation. It all still seemed counterintuitive to him, and Aruna's reaction still did not seem entirely logical. He had indicated quite clearly that he was not familiar with Human culture, so why would she expect him to understand their social rules? It did not seem to make sense, though from his brief glimpse into her past from what she told him, he had gathered that she was a slightly paranoid individual. Perhaps that played a role in her anger. Regardless, Ssarak sighed and leaned back against the wall on his bed, resigning himself to simply accepting the situation, as there was little he could do to change it at the moment.

"The same thing that draws most here, I suspect." Ssarak finally answered. "I wish to learn more about my blood, about psychomancy. It was not too long ago that I left my homeland, as you can likely tell. It was two years ago that I left, though I have been mostly alone since then. I worked as a mercenary for a while, but I attempted to keep to myself for the majority of the time, so I did not learn a great deal about interacting with Humans. I suppose I simply want something new in my life, something that does not revolve purely around fighting. I have lived the life of a warrior since I was but a child, and I do not desire to live it any longer."
I do plan on including others in the breakout, but the tasks that person would be performing would not bring them into contact with Sarel at first, so we can collab a good deal of it.

"Wait, I am confused." Ssarak responded, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. Nothing these Humans did ever seemed to make sense. Aruna was raised in their culture, and according to her, asking to be a roommate was offensive, but Leith was now telling him otherwise. Their rules seemed selective and variable, and not at all sensible. What Leith said seemed to indicate their rules varied by gender, which he also could not understand. In Ssarak's upbringing, societal differentiation between genders was nearly nonexistent, so the concept did not exist in his mind.

"So, is there, or is there not a rule among humans regarding sharing rooms? I am relatively new to this land, and I have already offended one person because of rules I do not understand. And what influence does gender have on this; that does not make sense to me. If sharing rooms is acceptable, then I have no issue with you staying, but I would really like to understand what is going on here. From my perspective, humans make no sense whatsoever, and have rules that apply only selectively, apparently to my detriment." Ssarak explained, staring attentively at the human and awaiting his response. The sooner someone set right his misconceptions about human society, the sooner he would be able to clear up any misunderstandings he had made with others, such as Aruna, so perhaps it was fortunate Leith had came along, even if it did seem as if he was only interested in getting to sleep.
Sharee looked over Tagorn critically. To make a claim such as that was difficult to take seriously, as mercenaries just loved to exaggerate their own skills, but he would have a chance to prove it later on. "Well, if that's true, then you have the makings of a good lookout, and of course would join in on the boarding parties. I'm not giving any final roles until later, though, once I see the entire crew. I plan on meeting up with everyone I have recruited so far at dusk tonight, to the east of town along the coast. I'm sure we won't have everyone we need at that point, but there are a lot of people for hire in this town, so it should be enough to start with."
"That depends on you, both of you." Sharee responded, bringing them back to the question she had asked the Breton before Tagorn had arrived. "My Breton friend here has informed me that he has considerable expense sailing. Provided it's not all bravado, I'll assign his role accordingly. For both of you, though, I need to know what you can do aboard a ship, and elsewhere. Can you fight, do you have good eyes, do you know how to navigate? Anything like that to help me place you in a suitable role. I have a good deal of experience myself sailing, so I know what it takes to run a ship." Sharee explained. She was hesitant to start assigning any roles until she knew more about them, especially any roles with actual authority. No matter what they said, she likely wasn't going to give any official positions out until she had recruited a full crew, that way she could assign them to the best possible candidate. Although, she was going to make sure she recruited at least one person who could fulfill every important role.

I know this may sound silly, but just honestly speaking, have you considered trying to make yourself a small fire to bake your rocks? As long as you do it somewhere dry and secluded, you can bake a couple of rocks that would last you the night. At least until you'd be able to get the whole ordeal sorted.

I think this might be the best suggestion, honestly. Just need some good rocks, and fire. We're renting on someone else's property, so we'll just need to explain why we're starting a small fire in their yard.

Lovely isn't it? The closest thing I found to help you is but don't know if would work or not, or if even helps at all.

I also heard handwarmers can help, but I don't have one. I didn't think about warm water, though if the water heater is electric, that wouldn't work either. If worst comes to worst, the warmest thing in the house will be me. I could keep him warm all day myself, but not so much at night.
We used to have a wood stove, but not at this place. Pretty much everything is electric. I would have purchased something before, but if you're in the South and the weather forecast mentions snow, then every store immediately sells out of milk, bread, and anything related to heating.
