My posts are the appropriate size for the situation, whether that be a paragraph or ten. Though, I'm pretty big on word economy.
Since there was still over two hours remaining until the scheduled start of the meeting, and Avatar’s attempts at speaking with anyone local had been unsuccessful, it remained with Voira, Raa, and RK. The group wandered for thirteen minutes before stopping in an area designated as the lounge, on the same deck as the airlocks through which they arrived. It had an arrangement of aged furniture, holographic screens projected on the walls, computer terminals which were entirely unused, and a self-serve bar containing food and drink. Many of the Citadel representatives and their security details were waiting in this location, conversing among one another about the upcoming meeting. In addition to Quarian, Turian, and Human representatives, the Council had sent a few Asari and Salarian representatives to aid in negotiations. Volus business interests were also present, though they had not sent a diplomat.

Among the crowd at the lounge, Avatar saw only one group which it could not identify as a part of the Citadel delegation: two Turians, a Batarian, a Human, and an Asari. All but the Asari were in full combat armor that, unlike the group of Turians it had encountered before, was entirely uniform in model and design. Their armor was more modern than the previous group, and was all black with red accents. The violet-skinned Asari also wore combat armor, but it lacked a helmet and had a different aesthetic design. It was notably older than the other sets of armor, but with visible non-standard additions. It was primarily blue with white accents, and possessed hand-painted red designs on the chestplate similar to the white markings on her own face.

For approximately twenty-two minutes, the group stood by, silently watching the members of the Council delegation until the Asari seemed to receive a communication through her earpiece. Not many were actually paying attention to her, but Avatar could detect her response, even through the noise of the crowd.

“Wait, what? No, they are way too early. Just…I’ll deal with him later, let’s just get this going.” The Asari said before quickly prompting the rest of her group to follow her out of the lounge. Only a minute and forty-five seconds later, a Turian spoke up over the intercom system.

Attention: due to time constraints, the meeting will begin in twenty minutes, in the previously designated area. Please make your way to the main chamber now.

The announcement sparked a brief moment of heightened conversation from the crowd. From the conversations it could pick out, Avatar noticed that many of the representatives found the sudden change of schedule odd, or even rude, but nevertheless, they all started heading in the direction of the elevators after a few moments. Both Avatar and Raa would be needed at the meeting as well, but for a few brief moments, Avatar stood silent, running calculations based on the new data.
I just need to speak with cqb about something before posting.
There are only a few things I can think of that are left to do before the trial. Finishing up the test on the toxin, and likely informing everyone waiting in that room what happened with Oswall, having Sabine see if she can confirm that the liquid in the vial is the same one that poisoned Jerrick, speaking to the other lieutenants about getting one guard from each pack, including Harriet's, to help guard her, and perform that mock search to see if Meesei can get a reaction out of Harriet. We probably don't need to RP through all of that, but we should definitely go through the mock search in IC.
Meesei gave a slight smile. "You would get along with Lorag. If standing silently in a room with only a brief, gruff acknowledgment of the other counts as such." She commented, her demeanor shifting for only a brief moment before returning to her former, serious attitude. "At any rate, I will do what I can to keep your involvement in all of this quiet. Based on the evidence I have so far, I will not likely require your testimony during the trial. It is possible that I will, but currently, it does not seem like I will have to disclose your identity. If so, I will of course appreciate your help. But, for now, I should let you get back to your duties."

After exchanging farewells, Meesei left the room at a different time, and going a different direction than Grolak. She now had another lead to follow, though it would be some time before she could do anything with what she had learned. She needed Harriet, and other witnesses to be present when they searched her room, but Harriet could not know beforehand that she intended to perform a search. It needed to be a surprise so that Harriet would not have time to prepare a reaction. Harriet likely already expected that she would be sleeping in her room, with guards, so that would be the time to perform the search. Until then, there were a few matters she needed to attend to before the end of the day.
I do have one comment, now that I think about it. People in Star Wars don't use the same expletives and slang that we do. A list of known slang can be found here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_phrases_and_slang
Thinking about it, I should probably mention that Ssi-ruu aren't really well-known in the galaxy. It isn't impossible for one to know about them, they are just kind of a fringe species that aren't really in the galactic community.
Alright, I think I set the scene. We'll be starting on this ship, after each of us has received a job offer from an unnamed employer. You can start on the ship introducing your character, meeting other characters, brooding alone in a corner, or whatever else you like. I'm assuming Sep will be the one to bring us to the meeting itself, where all the details will be explained.
Sirka’ith was aboard a large ship, an old dreadnaught sitting at some point in deep space. But, more specifically, she was at the same place she always tried to find when she had some downtime: the bar. She had been on the ship for about ten hours, though most of that time she had spent sleeping. According to the holonet search she had performed shortly after arrival, it was an old Providence-class dreadnaught that had been converted into what she assumed to be a sort of mobile base of operations for the person or group that had acquired it. Certainly, its interior felt more like a space station than anything, with all the people that seemed to be living in the place. It had living quarters, food vendors, entertainment, and alcohol: everything one would need for an extended stay. The room she had been given wasn’t especially fancy or anything, but it did impress her in that the bed and furniture were actually appropriately sized for a Ssi-ruu, unlike the booth she was currently halfway spilling out of.

The reason Sirka had come all the way out to this ship in the middle of nowhere was one of the roughly three things that could properly motivate her to do something stupid; in this case, credits. About a week ago, she had been approached at her apartment on Nar Shaddaa, in person, by a representative of the potential employer who owned this ship. Normally, taking a job from a stranger representing some unnamed employer, which required her to make a trip halfway across the galaxy, was not something Sirka would do, but in this case, the money was way, way too good to ignore. That, and they had paid all of her traveling expenses up front.

The meeting in which the details of this job would be explained was set to start in a few hours, so naturally, Sirka was treating herself to the strongest drink this little cantina had available. It was not too much for someone of her size and mass, but it was enough. It wasn’t as if she had much else to do, given that strangers tended to give a massive reptilian like her a wide berth. Even though she had left her heavy weaponry in her room, and she had done nothing so far but drink quietly, she could smell the slight hint of fear from the group of Humans in a nearby booth. Of course, she was long past caring about the thoughts of random strangers; at the moment, all that mattered to her was her drink. As time passed a crowd consisting of many different species was starting to form in the cantina, but the booths directly in front of and behind her were still vacant.
I am currently in the process of writing the first post.
