"If Harriet is indeed the one who placed it there, then I fear the worst. It bears Vile's visage, which combined with the properties of the poison, suggests that she is consorting with our enemy." Meesei commented as she slipped the vial into her satchel. She was glad that Grolak had managed to make this find, as not only did it provide more evidence for the trial, but it gave a firm link to Clavicus Vile. However, before she used it in the trial, she wanted to confirm that it was Harriet who placed it there. If she had, then she certainly would not admit to it directly, but there still could be a way to learn that information indirectly. If she searched the room while Harriet was present and happened upon the hiding place Gorlak mentioned, then her reaction could provide additional evidence. She just had to make sure there were a sufficient number of witnesses present, so at some point during the day, Meesei intended to recruit at least one member of each of the lieutenants' packs to help guard her. She even intended to select one from Harriet's packs, though it would be a lower ranking member selected by Meesei herself.

"I will need to confirm my suspicions, but this is an important find. Thank you, Gorlak. Currently, I do not believe I will need your testimony in the trial itself, though that is a possibility. In either case, you are certainly deserving of recognition for your contributions to the welfare of the clan. After this is all over, I could honor you, and the others who have helped me, publicly for your assistance, if you so choose. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, I will also respect that choice. I understand if you do not wish to have that sort of attention cast upon you." Meesei offered.
Sep is the one to accept or deny CSs, but I'll give my thoughts on yours, @SgtEasy. I might be just arguing semantics, but it really wouldn't be possible to create a blaster "proof" coat. Blaster resistance, though, is certainly possible. Armorweave is a material that can be woven into a cloth which is blaster resistant. It wouldn't be as effective as heavier armor like durasteel, but it would definitely provide resistance.

Slugthrowers aren't common, but they are certainly used in the Star Wars universe. They aren't as powerful or as easy to use as blasters, as blaster bolts do not drop with gravity, but they do have advantages in some situations. Visibility comes to mind, as it wouldn't be as easy to track the origin of a shot. As well, they can be made more quiet than a blaster. During the time of the Galactic Republic, some mercenaries would use slugthrowers with high rates of fire, which could not be completely blocked with a lightsaber. Disadvantages include, of course, they fact that they don't deal as much damage. Also, since blasters are the norm, ammunition for ballistic weapons is more expensive. I have no issue with the ballistic firearms, I just thought those were interesting points.
Ignis went right to his task of watching Eli as soon as Helen gave it to him, but fortunately, it didn’t seem to be much work at all. Eli followed of his own accord, so Ignis had to do nothing more than float around him, completely transparent. Since he had little else to do as they moved along, he let his mind wander. The fact that this inquisitor was likely hunting them at that very moment probably should have been concerning, but Ignis found himself more interested in this mansion they had entered.

Drake’s mansion was large and fancy, with different varieties of artwork and immaculately shined furniture all sitting in their proper places. Even the floor was made of an expensive rock, accented with that one rare metal that Humans seemed to like. All of it seemed entirely pointless to him; it reminded him of the homes of some of the most annoying people he had met in his existence. The rich owners of these kinds of mansions usually had a certain kind of personality, one that was spectacularly dull. Their only redeeming factor was how hilariously they usually reacted whenever he did something to throw some chaos in to the perfect little worlds they had created for themselves. Places like this, they were the perfect targets.

Just as they were getting close to the medical wing, Ignis managed to pay enough attention to see Eli writing his message on the wall just behind the others. Helen would probably want him to rush Eli along, and he would do that…soon enough. For the moment, he took on a visible form and walked up alongside Eli. “Oh, I like it. Simple, but really…in-your-face. It’s just too bad they have servants for this stuff.” He commented before looking up directly at Eli. “You know, I think we could have a lot of fun in a place like this, don’t you think?”
"As far as we know, every single one of them are dead." Ghirn answered to Telmeck. "After you evacuated the station, our strike team did manage to capture some of the rebels. However, when they attempted to interrogate them, they all essentially self destructed, and all in the same way. Massive hemorrhaging of the brain, which killed each of them basically instantly."

Rareth nodded. "I though that is what that was. When we captured one of them, he died pretty suddenly after we started questioning them. Oddly, he sounded like he was about to actually tell us something before he died. Seems strange to me that someone who was actually willing to talk would have willingly undergone a procedure like that."

"Yes, I recall that from your report. It is possible that it was not a voluntary procedure for the rebels. Regardless, it is safe to say you will never see those rebels again, but that kind of bioengineering is not what we would expect to see from a group of rebels with seemingly limited resources. That implies there is something more going on, but exactly what we cannot yet say. There may have been a larger organization funding, or even directly controlling them. However, we cannot link them to any known group with sufficient resources who would actually benefit from this kind of attack. None of the files we have examined so far even mention the goal of these rebels. They took the hostages, then just seemed to wait for us to arrive. Luckily, it looks like enough data was recovered that we will be able to send you on a mission to follow up on this. The details of it are being finalized as we speak." Ghirn explained.
Meesei took the vial in her hand, examining it and the liquid within. She would have Sabine examine it just in case, but it was not difficult to guess what the liquid might be. As well, the symbol etched upon the stopper was easy enough to recognize. If nothing else, it strongly suggested that Clavicus Vile was involved in the murder. However, as suspicious as the find was, Meesei was going to do everything she could to make sure the vial implied what she feared.

"And you found this in her room? If this means what I fear, then she could be even more dangerous than even the charges laid against her would imply. Where specifically in the room did you find this? I intend to follow this lead as far as I can." Meesei asked.
Huh, apparently I am a GM.
I am not a GM or anything, but I can say that is not very likely to be allowed. It would probably be best to stick with the ones that have already been created. Star Wars has such an expansive universe that there is probably already one to suit your needs. What is it you were thinking? I might be able to give some suggestions.
Your tank is ready.
Name: Sirka'ith

Species: Ssi-ruu

Gender: Female

Appearance: (with brown scales, instead of red)

Age: 17 (this is an adult, as Ssi-ruu mature more quickly than humans)

Height: 2.15 meters

Skills/Abilities:
  • Close to medium range combat specialist
  • Strength equivalent to an adult wookiee
  • Thick, blaster resistant hide
  • Very keen sense of smell (able to detect changes in the emotional state of species with which she is familiar)
  • Triple eyelids resist sudden bursts of light
  • Surprising speed and grace for a creature of her size

Weaknesses:
  • Long-range combat
  • Eyesight poorer than that of a human
  • Very limited non-combat skills
  • Young age compared to adults of other species limits her practical experience
  • Stands out in a crowd, or any other situation
  • Little to no stealth capabilities

Equipment: Like most Ssi-ruu, Sirka wears only bandoliers across her chest to carry her belongings, along with whatever holsters she needs. Her primary weapon is a Mark II medium repeating blaster cannon. While normally a mounted weapon, the cannon can be carried by the heightened strength of a Ssi-ruu. She has modified it with a proper stock and grip, and powers it through a power cell which she wears as a backpack that, compared to her size, is reasonably compact. As a sidearm, she carries an E-11 blaster rifle, and a one-handed variant of a vibro-ax as a backup weapon. She also carries a small belt of fragmentation grenades.

Background: Sirka'ith had somewhat of a unique childhood among the Ssi-ruu. As xenophobic of a species as the Ssi-ruu are, they were forced to engage in some measure of diplomacy with the rest of the galaxy. Sirka's father was a black Ssi-ruu spy, ostensibly serving as a diplomat off-world, while her mother was a red Ssi-ruu bodyguard. This forbidden union made her a brown-scaled Ssi-ruu, and a member of the lowest caste of Ssi-ruuvi society. Normally, her egg would have been destroyed by her parents, but being outside their home system, her parents could not as easily get away with the murder, so they simply passed her off as the child of one of their brown-scaled Ssi-ruu servants.

In the first few years of her life, Sirka was in the position of being mostly ignored by the parents who had disowned her, and the servants who were meant to care for her. As such, no one bothered to stop her when she started to interact with the local populations of the worlds they were assigned to, something that would normally be forbidden for any Ssi-ruu hatchlings that, for whatever reason, found themselves outside Sii-ruuvi space. Her adoptive parents did teach her some of the Ssi-ruu, but she was more heavily influenced by the cultures of the worlds around her.

It was years before Sirka's father and his entourage returned to Lwhekk, and by that point, Sirka was too old, and had been outside Ssi-ruuvi space for too long to ever be able to accept what her life there would be like. The brown-scaled caste of Ssi-ruu were treated terribly. She did not care about the Imperium, nor about the religion they started to force on her. After a few beatings, she played along, but she resolved to escape as soon as possible. Luckily, the fact that she was raised outside Lwhekk also meant she was one of the few Ssi-ruu who could actually speak Basic, so it was not long before she was assigned to be a translator for a real diplomat. As soon as they reached a relatively large city, Sirka made her escape into the city's crowded underworld.

Despite only being a child at the time, Sirka found that there was one kind of work that such a large and intimidating being as herself could find quite readily. As a mercenary, she earned enough credits performing simple jobs to get offworld, and from there, she decided to continue honing her skills in combat. After all, it wasn't as if she had the skills to do anything else.
"Yes, I do, and I have some ideas on how to bring this clan together, even at its current size. The kind of leadership structure we are used to as lycans works well for us in most cases, but it is not ideal for a clan of this size. There has to be change, but it will not be easy, nor quick. The ideas I have will take time to work, perhaps even years. We can speak about it in more detail after all of this is over. For now, we should focus on the task at hand." Meesei answered as she stood to her feet.

"Do with Caleb whatever it is you would normally do with someone who commits a crime before their sentence. I understand you were in a great deal of emotional pain, Caleb, but we cannot afford to show favoritism, especially now. Considering your situation, Oswall may show leniency, and no one will question his decision. We will proceed with your plan for handling Galsek. Announce that someone is spreading misinformation, but do not specify who. And Vera, keep yourself protected. You, Darahil, and Oswall are not safe. My pack will stay with you, and you may wish to have other trusted individuals close at hand as well." Meesei advised before taking her leave. It was going to be some time yet before the test on the poison produced any results, and there was another matter Meesei needed to attend to while she had the chance. The previous night, Meesei had found the opportunity to instruct Gorlak to search Harriet's room, and she needed to see if he had found anything tangible.

As usual, Gorlak was likely going to be near the food, so Meesei quickly made her way to the dining chamber. She saw Gorlak, but made sure that he was not serving anyone else when she approached. It was between meals, so the chamber was not crowded, but she still had to be cautious. Although the secret of Jerrick's death had been revealed to the clan, Meesei was still keeping the identities of her allies a secret. They could still be very helpful, but only if no one knew about them. As she approached, she turned her eyes to the food. "Would I be able to get something simple. perhaps some bread?" She asked aloud before quickly following up much more quietly with her actual question. "Any results?" If he had found something, a simple nod would prompt her to arrange a place for them to meet and speak privately, likely somewhere near the meeting room, as it was a low-traffic area.
