Ssarak Dyreackthanose
Annabeth's response sparked a line of thought within Ssarak's mind. He was curious about how humans and other races went about discovering their mageblood. He had known for quite a long time that not all of them even had the gift, and if they did, they would not know which blood they carried until it manifested itself, but he had never truly thought about the issue in depth. For a human, he could imagine there would be a good deal more mystery involved in the entire process, and he was curious what it was like for them. He had always been told what to expect from his blood, but Annabeth was going into this new experience essentially blind.

"So you are unaware of what your blood is? Interesting, I have never really thought about that before. As an Esyire, it was a foregone conclusion that I would have mageblood, and since the color of our scales reflect our mageblood type, I knew precisely what to expect by the time I was capable of manipulating my blood. I have never considered the mystery involved for other races. If I may ask, what did you feel when you discovered your blood, and what do you believe caused it to happen?" Ssarak asked, trying to gain a better understanding of her situation. Now that they had located a gargoyle, he hoped she did not mind if he followed her to her destination.

Ssarak took a left out of the door and headed down the hall toward the last place he remembered seeing a gargoyle. Fortunately, they did not tend to move around much when they were not needed, though the abundance of inanimate statues could make finding them confusing at times. The Human, who identified herself as Annabeth, followed behind and seemed grateful for the help.

"Indeed I am. My name is Ssarak Dyreackthanose; it is a pleasure to meet you." He responded, nodding to her. "I am a student of psychomancy. I have a small amount of training in my blood, though I am still very much a novice. What of yourself? You are looking for Uicle; are you a necromancer? Or perhaps a hydromancer?" He asked curiously. Unlike Esyire, humans had no external indications of their type of mageblood, so it was more difficult to discern their abilities.
"No...wait, yes?" Ahnasha responded, her judgement lapsing for a moment as she tried to determine if the patterns across her body counted as striped. She fell back and laid down on the ground, looking up at the sky and letting out a groan. "I'm terrible at this. I should just give up now." She said, finishing off her drink and tossing the empty bottle aside. After a few moments, she sat back up and grabbed another bottle from one of the crates. "Alpha, do you like the taste of elves more than humans?" She asked, a question she had thought of during the exchange between Fendros and Janius.

"Yes." Meesei said, looking Fendros in the eye with a mischievous smirk. Of course, her tone combined with her expression showed that it was a sarcastic answer. Humans obviously tasted better. "Fendros, do you know how to create tattoos?"
Sam watched the rabbit scurry away after they startled it out of the nearby bush it had been hiding in. "I think it was a bit more surprised than us, being that two giants just walked up to it." He said with a chuckle. The two continued on through the forest for a short distance until they passed a rather colorful, brilliant looking dogwood tree.

They stopped for a moment to observe the tree when Sam spotted a bit of movement at its base. Curious, he walked around the base of the tree and spotted the source of the movement: a Garter snake. It was small, and mostly black with a light stripe down its back. Sam knelt down at a safe distance and looked over the creature, which was coiled up near a rock. "Come and look at this; it's a garter snake." He said, waving for her to approach.

Ssarak was almost ready to leave for his room when the human woman entered. At first, he simply assumed she was there to train, but as she approached him, he noticed she looked confused, an observation which was confirmed by her question. She was refreshingly polite, compared to the general attitude of distrust or fear he was used to from most others outside the college, especially those who were educated enough about magic to relate an Esyire's scale color to their mageblood. Of course, he had already encountered a few individuals like that since arriving at the college, so perhaps he needed to alter his expectations? Unfortunately, he did not know off the top of his head where Uicle was, but he reasoned the gargoyles would be able to help. "Uicle...he is the Necromancy instructor, correct? I am afraid I do not know off-hand where he is. I arrived here only yesterday myself, along with the majority of other students. I do know where the nearest gargoyle is, however. They should, at the very least, be able to direct you to his office."

Ssarak stood up and grabbed his axe from beside him. Since he was not wearing his armor, he did not have a proper place to secure it and would need to simply carry it. He had time to spare and would certainly not mind doing a favor for what he assumed to be a fellow student, so he gave her a friendly smile. "If you would like, I could accompany you."

Ssarak is best dragonman. Dude's one classy motherfucker. Funny, considering how I thought I would hate him at first.

If you're going to kill something, might as well do it like a sir.
Ssarak Dyreackthanose
Though Ssarak was curious as to what happened, he had left the dining hall when requested and headed to his room for some much-needed rest. Thankfully, his rest had been mostly peaceful, as he had been sufficiently distracted from the waking nightmare he had experienced earlier that day. The next morning, he ate a breakfast of assorted meat, as usual, then asked around for a place he could exercise and train until he learned of the college's gymnasium.

Ssarak followed a gargoyle to the gymnasium and began his usual training regimen. He practiced weightlifting, sit-up, push-ups, and anything else he could do with the tools available to him to work on strength training. Though his attitude toward fighting had soured considerably, he still wanted to keep himself combat ready, and his strength was one of his greatest assets in combat. What he lacked in agility he made up for with the sheer force he could deliver in a blow, which, combined with his armor, made him a fearsome opponent. Bladed weapons could do little against plate armor, though he had to be careful with foes using blunt weaponry, as his armor could do little to protect against blunt force. He did find himself with the disadvantage of lacking a helmet for his armor, and he wondered if there was someone at the college who could forge a helmet for him. He did not have much to pay with, but perhaps there was a way he could earn money while at the college?

It took a while for Ssarak to complete his daily strength training, as he made sure to give himself adequate breaks between exercises. Too much strain on his body at one time would have the potential for harm, with no gain. He noticed the tall, rude Forest Elf from yesterday, Alaira, in the room as well, though he said nothing to her. She seemed to be caught up in her own training, and he did not think it would be a particularly enjoyable experience to talk to her anyway. Ssarak remained for a moment to rest, though he was not done with his exercise for the day, as there was still endurance training to worry about. He would need to make sure to go for a flight and a run at some point. Once he started his classes, however, he would likely have to move around his normal schedule to accommodate both his magical and physical training. Perhaps once he became skilled enough with psychomancy, he would be able to reduce his focus on fighting, or, even better, lay down his axe permanently. Still, for the moment, he had no choice but to stick to what he knew.
"I am finished with my English class for this semester, but I am signed up for the last one I need next semester. I could let you read my papers for peer review and such. I would definitely appreciate the help." Sam responded, following alongside Stevie as she selected a path for them to follow. The air out in the forest felt altogether much cleaner than that of the city, and the scenery was much more comfortable to him. A city like D.C was definitely impressive in its own right, but being raised in a rural area, he had much more of an appreciation for natural beauty, especially after being in an urban area for so long. "As for art, I would love to help, but you are a better artist than myself, so there isn't too much I can do, unless you're trying to get me to be the model." Sam responded jokingly, nudging her shoulder slightly with his elbow.
"No." Lorag responded immediately, truly believing his statement. After all, his version of drunk was much different from most people's. "Catdog, do you like your new name?"

"No you...ah, wait." Ahnasha said, taking a drink when she realized her hesitation, which at least gave her time to think of a question. "Lorag, do you wish you still had Bessie?"

"Yes. Ahnasha, am I the greatest Orc to ever play the role of Anara the maid?" Lorag asked without missing a beat.

Ahnasha couldn't help but to let out a chuckle, which immediately caused her to nearly curse herself as she took another drink. "Ah you manipulative...No!" She said loudly before returning a question. "Lorag, are you allergic to cheese, milk, and butter?" She asked, knowing that the answer was not something he liked to admit, as he saw it as a weakness.

"Yes." Lorag said immediately, but begrudgingly before shooting back with another question of his own. "Ahnasha, can you sing as well as a bard?"

"Yes." She answered quickly and proudly, but in the excitement of finally answering correctly, she realized she couldn't come up with another question quickly enough and hesitated. She let out a groan and took yet another drink. "Fendros, are you an evil s'wit for coming up with this game?" She asked, not even caring if she admitted defeat by breaking the back and forth between her and Lorag. She was already feeling the effects of her wine, and was starting to see the purpose of this game.

IT's done...though, Kudos to those Players that can guess the Pawns the Gods have chosen from the College in their little game. Meet the key Gods/Goddesses of Blood Act, key players in the Blood Plotline. There will be more 'pawns' with each God post, since the game is just beginning and bets being placed.

I'll need to reread it in the morning, because keeping my eyes open is a feat right now.
