GMs can always break their own rules for the sake of having extra control. Makes finding a way to off PCs that get out of hand much less contrived. (of course, in WoD, there are numerous ways of doing so)

RPing characters with mental illnesses

One of the more natural places to explore mental illnesses in RP settings, wethinks would be the World of Darkness. There's one clan of vampire in there that every single member is insane in one or more ways. Among other things like social dysfunction, the character we're working on creating now has both suffered global amnesia and is schizophrenic. Because there's no pattern to the insanity in that setting, you can go with whatever you feel like, so long as the character is dysfunctional in some way.

We're also in the process of writing a sheet, just nor a Baali one. The two things we personally reacted to on your sheet? generation and the massive amount of information. If we understood the GM's instructions right, the generation limit of nothing below gen-6 included diablerie. But of course, only the GMs can say for sure...

We think we found the right channel now. At least there was a channel that automatically de-op'ed us.

Echo is asleep now, so we probably won't write much more on the faction sheet this evening.

We're working on a bit of a cooperative faction, with two players being behind a single faction.

Is the chatroom linked in the OP operational? We couldn't seem to connect to it. We found the server, but all we got when trying to join the channel listed in the url was an empty channel. Clicking the link simply gave a site that wouldn't load. We're used to connecting to the server used by the guild IRC, not the mibbit server.

Last VtM RP we joined died too soon. This one looks to have much more promise.
