Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

Something like that.

There were countless mundane beings in that RP, but all the player characters were ridiculously overpowered. Pretty balanced with each other, but still overpowered in comparison to the regular people in that RP.
From what Karel Vacek knew, the battle was going well. He didn’t have any specific tasks right now, but was on stand-by in case anything unexpected happened. Having served for years aboard other 304’s, he knew well that that happened frequently. More frequently than back on Earth, at least. Of course, he could’ve remained back in his small cabin, but that just felt wrong, sitting in a small room when everyone else is fighting. Plain wrong.

Of course, it would have been much easier to stay in one place, especially with the ship being hit now and then, but Karel had not joined this program to have it easy. In fact, he hadn’t joined the military to have it easy. He moved down one of the more obscure corridors when suddenly he saw someone lying on the floor. He did not rush forward, though he longed to. He stopped, looked for anything out of the ordinary. Nothing stood out.

Karel took a couple of steps closer, looking for disturbances, any fluctuations that might indicate an imperfect stealth device. It never hurt to be sure. He did not see anything. Then he looked over the walls, ceiling and floor. Other than a faint skidmark on the floor, there was no sign of anything out of the ordinary. Exempting the body, that is. He stepped closer, leaning down to check for a pulse, keeping his eyes searching, just in case the one responsible was still around. He had no illusions about this being an accident.

As he suspected, there was no pulse. But the body was still warm, so the woman had not been dead long. Looking at her neck, he spotted the chain of a set of dogtags. He pulled them out, reading the name. Then he dropped them back down, taking a few steps back. He had two calls to make. First bridge, then Infirmary. Protocols were clear on that.

“Desátník Karel Vacek to Oberst Kateřina Černá. I got a dead Scientist in corridor H-17. Tags identify her as Captain Ylva Falk. This was no accident. I repeat, no accident.” Seeing that the Oberst was probably busy, Karel decided to call the infirmary while waiting for an answer. “Corporal Karel Vacek to Infirmary. Got a woman down in H-17. Get a team her ASAP. Bring a bodybag.”
We tweaked our last post a bit. As it had not been reacted to, it should be ok. We realized it did not make sense for the medics to be called. It works better without. Its in preparation for another post that should come up soonish, which will then set the stage for something else.

EDIT:
Post is up. Now there's something direct for both Oberst Black and for the Infirmary (that's you, Fallen) to react to. Much better than the vague mentions of medics formerly in post 1643911. Enjoy.
Well, we've also had a nice little evil overlord...

It was parasitic in nature, taking hosts and 'repurposing' them. Not a single host ever complained. Of course, they didn't have any free will, so that's not surprising. The evil overlord, Ranoch, was also known as "The lord of Eat". Yes, the creature ate its way into its hosts in a most messy and painful way. Once changed, there was no discovered means of undoing it. With its stomach in another dimension, there was no limit to its appetite. The only reason such an OP character worked at all was that all the other characters in that RP were equally overpowered, and when everyone's super, no one is.
Sometimes the ends can justify the means. Not always, but sometimes.
every box is 3.5m tall, with two meters separating one from its two neighbors.
Nice one, Aeonumbra... Must've been pretty detailed for them to consider therapy.
we're making progress on that model, Jorj.

We've gotten the framework for the decks worked out now. Now all it needs it division into rooms rather than open areas.
Not really sure how that would work, so we're including a couple of images here, one with the deck shapes and dimensions.

We imagine that most of those decks would be occupied by the automated systems of the ship. perhaps two-three decks at most used by the crew.
The entire rear half of the ship is used by engine systems and other automated things.

Anyways, from the top:
Deck 01: 115x24m = 2760m²
Deck 02: 115x46m = 5290m²
Deck 03: 115x50m = 5750m²
Deck 04: 115x50m = 5750m² (has airlocks)
Deck 05: 115x50m = 5750m² (has airlocks)
Deck 06: 60x50m = 3000m²
Deck 07: 60x50m = 3000m²
Deck 08: 60x45m - 15x30m = 2250m² (has cutout on bow end)
Deck 09: 35x20m = 700m²
Deck 10: 30x10m = 300m²
Deck 11: 30x10m = 300m²
Deck 12: 13x30m = 390m²

If anyone has suggestions for how they should be divided up, it'd be much appreciated.
The most deplorable character we've written was probably one that could easily justify rape and enslavement. A rather interesting fellow. The hardest bit in writing it was in trying to learn how such a person would think. Despite him being very much deplorable, he was also one of the better characters we've ever written. He had that spark so many characters lack.
