Current Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion. Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory. Through Victory, My Chains are Broken. The Force Shall Free Me.

There will probably be a few captive Evokers among the invaders. Some will be there at least half-unwillingly, others have given into the propaganda of the Empire; they actually believe that Evokers need to be controlled to be safe. They don't want to be "freed". Luminal Relic powers, being to some degree of the same source, will not have diminished effect the way torches do in the artificial darkness. I.e. someone capable of generating fire will be more visible in it than they would be in a regular night.

We'd guess that the Church of Idris and the Imperials will be rather busy going head to head. With contradicting policy and the excuse of religion behind it, they generally won't be able to work together.
Not really sure. High enough that nothing except flying beings can pass the top. Why do you ask?
So... Your character and Isadora are busy. Sep's and Assallya are about to become very familiar. Primal is AWOL. Which ones are available again then?

We've not got a good list in our heads.
We were away in RL. Sorry we didn't make the range of Slavómir's darkness. It covers the entire city and a decent portion of the countryside around it. Enough to make it feasible for an entire army to sneak up on it. The only reason that relic power is possible at such range without being ridiculously OP is that he can't do anything with it except create darkness/shadow. There's nothing about it that can directly harm anything else.

We'd put its range at around a kilometer or so outside the city. Enough distance to make it hard to see the edge, but not so far as to affect more than a city and its rough environs. To cover such large area has taken him years to master. Many, many years.
The edges of the artificial night are sharp. While inside its range, the area outside looks like it has night too, but if you step outside, that is no longer the case. However, if you're outside, the inside still looks dark. It would basically look like a massive hemisphere of darkness if observed from the outside. There's nothing stopping anyone from wandering in or out of the darkness. It is merely dark, nothing physically tangible.
If anyone has something they want to add to the empire but don't know if fits with what we already put up, feel free to ask. We've got some vague ideas outside what we've already written, but most things, so long as they don't directly contradict with what we put earlier, should go fine.

The Empire is not very tolerant of ideas that contradict their official policies, so there won't be any official presence of other faiths in their domain. The Holy Order of Idris has no power within the borders of the empire, simply because they don't have the right view concerning Evokers. They're fond of indoctrination, torture, imprisonment and other fun habits.

We've got no idea about whether they've got decent spies.

The citizens of the Empire either love the empire, or have no choice about it (or both). There's no chance of a revolution, as the government is very powerful and it is not lenient towards those who don't share its goals.

Not really sure, as we don't know the map scale. But it is large enough to field armies numbering in the tens of thousands without leaving home anywhere close to undefended.

So its not unlikely that it covers much of that sector. There might be a few places not yet conquered, but we'd guess most of the North-eastern sector of the continent belongs to the Empire. We didn't define it all as we're open for others to define parts too. But it would make sense that they've conquered all the easy parts before they go for the harder parts. Of course, tunneling beneath the mountains (through use of captive Evokers) will be most unexpected. And it'd provide a natural road for Imperial expansion.

We don't want to decide everything for the Empire ourselves.

EDIT: We don't know how it'll work out either. That's the fun bit.
If the Imperials get hold of ya... They'll guard ya well. To ensure that you won't escape, that is.
Heh. You'll just have to find others to work with then, won't ya?

Nothing like a common foe for uniting people.
Such happens. It came out of nowhere.

We figure that'll give people something to play with.

Some rough concepts on what the special units of the Imperial Kalesian Army are:
Armored Kalbeast: A huge animal with tough skin. probably a bit like a mix of Elephant and Rhinoceros, but slightly larger. Equipped with heavy armor. Not very fast, but rather challenging to stop. Possibly equipped with some nasty spikes on the armor. Perhaps archers on top?
Mauler cavalry: Some sort of cavalry using mounts that in themselves are capable of mauling opponents. perhaps some sort of large feline?

Feel free to build on it. We don't have any plans beyond this yet.
