If you've got questions, we also recommend you drop by the new guild chat, though be warned its a bit basic still, due to only being 3-4 days old.

Salutations, RPGuild!

Well, advanced isn't just for aspiring authors. Its also for those who desire a higher level of complexity to their stories and tend to write more than a paragraph or two. Advanced players tend to plan a little at least when they write, though it often happens that their characters have plans of their own and disagree with the writer on how things should be.

Anyways, we'come to the guild @Fantasmal. We do hope your stay is long and that you find enjoyment in it. Do not be put off if the first RP you join should not turn out as good as you hope. With the wide variety in GMs here, the levels of experience at it fluctuate wildly.

We think that changing text color in the chat would not be a feature that would improve the experience for most, not even if it was restricted to a few colors. However, different types of events it can make sense to have color changes for (user join/quit, user muted/unmuted, etc). The use of /me already bases itself on whatever color the user has rather than a single color for all. That should be enough variation wethinks.

A few hours ago we updated the OoC OP to reflect the fact that the RP has started and thusly the roles have changed.

@Partisan. It is on the list of planned features. Or rather, an editable "0^th" post is planned, where the GM and any CoGMs can edit at will.

Such a system will naturally need a memory of sort, what form that takes exactly has yet to be determined, but it will no doubt remember several versions and a certain timeframe backwards.
