The earlier plan was to skip several weeks (and go straight to Korriban from Tatooine), but we realized that would be too much. This should also allow for more elaborate torture sessions.

We also hope the OoC can be more noisy now.
Ok, as GM, we threw in a bit of time distortion now. Things haven't been advancing much. Rather than cover every hour in detail, we decided to have a teeny weeny little timeskip.

The current IC time is now at the 8th day after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant. Exactly what happened in the "missing" days is up to you to decide.

There was one mention of torture in said post: someone being put into a sensory deprivation chamber for several days. We have made no decision as to exactly who that someone was. Exactly what the chamber looks like is hard to say, but we can say this much. It blocks out all senses. You can't see anything, hear anything, or anything like that. Movement is severely restricted. The particular model used here ensures that the body does not wither from lack of nourishment and monitors life signs.

The other unknown in this post (in the latter half) is decided. The one involved there know who he or she is and knows not to reveal anything.
Ithan Kando returned to his quarters, pleased with the days work. In the eight standard days since they had struck against the hated republic’s capital, much had been achieved. None of the Jedi prisoners had become true Sith yet, but several had taken steps in the right direction. And there had, as expected, been a few fatalities. Only the worthy would become Sith. The remainder, would remain prisoners or die. Some deaths would help bring the worthy over to the right cause. Others would, quite simply, be meaningless.

After sealing his quarters, he removed his armor, one piece at a time, hanging it on a rack in one of his small side-chambers. He did not hurry. There was no need for that. Afterwards, he donned his Sith robes before walking over to the room dedicated to communications technology. Using the consoles, he easily established a secure, encrypted connection his master, who surprisingly to many was no Sith. “Moff Katherion. You wanted to talk?” He asked, standing at attention before the holoprojector.

“Yes, Inquisitor. I did.” The Moff answered. “How goes it with the prisoners?”

“It goes well, Moff. None have turned yet, but it is clear several of them have a hard time resisting. There is hope for them yet. It will take time, but time they will get.” He answered, not moving a limb.

“Good. What was your last act?” The moff asked, curious.

“I removed that prisoner from the Sensory Deprivation chamber, where it had been for the past four days. The exposure has clearly weakened this prisoner. I recommend keeping said prisoner under constant observation.” Ithan did not dare let anything be up to chance now. “Are we far out from our target?” He added at the end.

“Interesting.” the moff answered. “We are still some distance away. Our route was never direct, and this ship was never built for speed. It has heavy armoring, stout shields and significant armaments, but it lacks a similarly strong hyperdrive. We will arrive when we arrive. Not a moment before. Continue with your work and keep me appraised.”

“As you wish.” Ithan answered, and the holoprojector shut down.

~| Four hours later. |~

“Why do you persist in serving him? You are Sith, he is not.” she asked Ithan. In the dim light, it was impossible for anyone to see who it was, and the room twisted any voice beyond recognition, but he knew exactly who it was. He smiled beneath his mask.

“My life, is his. Without him, I would be dead. I see him rising far, and when he does, I will be rise with him. You would not understand.” Ithan answered.

The visitor did indeed not understand. “There is more, is there not?”

“You’ll never know. Now leave me.” Ithan could sense his visitor leaving, clearly unsatisfied, but knowing no satisfaction were to be had. He smiled. It had been a while since the previous visit now. Getting to his feet, he quickly found the object left behind. He did not gaze at it, simply slid it into a small pocket. He would deliver that to Darth Nyiss at his first opportunity to do so without anyone else noticing. What the object was, was none of his business. Failure to comprehend that the first time around had cost him his voice. He did not wish to repeat that mistake.

Done right, gender imbalance would be good in an RP.

On average, women have a harder time becoming quite as good as men for say, combat. The average woman is, undeniably, somewhat less physically strong than the average man. But this does not mean its impossible. We love stories where there's female characters that are strong in various ways.

If men and women are exposed to the exact same physical strength requirements, fewer women will pass through than men. But when it comes to mental strength, its much harder to say, if not impossible.

When it comes to fantasy RP settings, we can say this:
We hate the concept of Chainmail bikini armor.

We don't mind if there's female (or male) warriors who are dressed in loincloths. Its not good defense, but it can be explained away. Chainmail bikini on the other hand, that shows they have the skill to make metal armor, yet choose to make armor that doesn't cover what armor ought to cover. That, is unforgivable in a character. They only deserve to be killed if they do that.
On the other hand, we don't mind it if a writer wants the armor to be "feminine", so long as it does not compromise its capability to offer protection. As such, while breasts on armor would look feminine, there should not be any cleft in between them. All that would allow, is a path for unfriendly weapons to slide directly in towards a vulnerable spot, rather than out and away from the chest. If a suit of armor should have "boobs", it should be a single bulge for both, so that anything striking that point will slide out and away. If you want to accentuate them as more separate, there is always enameling and such.

Mind you, in settings that aren't quite so focused on bladed weaponry, armor requirements are less strict on this front.
We will on occasion ask our players if they can work on continuing certain plotlines, but we generally don't dictate how or specifically what will happen, though if we need something specific, we could ask for it. The players asked can freely, without consequences for the future, decline such. Then, if the plan hinged on that and we cannot convince them, we simply have to change the plan.

As a GM, we like surprises. We don't share everything with the players, and we don't expect them to share everything with us. There's few things more enjoyable than an utterly unexpected, well-written plot twist from one or more player(s). Major plot is typically defined by the GM, but that doesn't mean the players cannot influence what happens. The story, while primarily directed by the GM, is a product of all the players as well.

If we were to have an RP prophecy that says "X slays the giant" we'd always try to ensure that happens, but it is the players' role to find ways to thwart the GM. Prophecies are often misunderstood, so if it turns out differently, then clearly it was misinterpreted.
We hereby release a suitably large dose of GM laughter. You may cringe in fear, players.

That is a fairly interesting, but also quite accurate assessment of High Casual.
KaelRavenheart. What we read from your words there, is a near-perfect description of one of the guild moderators' primary roles. Deleting other people's posts, while convenient for GMs, is a power that is generally best left in the hands of guild staff.

When people make minor mistakes like forgetting whether something affects their character IC, then correct them in the OoC.
We like taking a part of an existing universe that isn't covered in detail, then follow canon as much as possible, but avoiding the use of Canon characters, simply because they're harder to get into the minds of. That is at least what we did in the RP we GM, as well as what was done in the RP we're participating in.
big lizards can be fun in fantasy settings. But the setting still has to make sense. If you've got lots of big predators there, you need similarly large numbers of large prey. or even more small prey. And people won't worry all that much about smaller predators. They'll primarily worry about the bigger ones. Behavior of smaller predators will also be different from earth norm, as they'll have to have adapted to not being the biggest threat.
