That would be correct.

Multiple editions of the BBcodes have lost the fallatus to work properly.
Yes, we'll do the same here.

As mentioned prior to DB loss, we'll be going with a young female Lieutenant who is in secret one of the Tok'ra.

Military

Name: Astridh Nic Shitric | Eydis
Rank: Lieutenant | Senior Deep-cover agent
Role: Tactical officer. Prefers to stay shipboard. Basic medical training | Infiltrator
Unit: Tempest Crew | Tok’ra.
Age: 25 (born January 6th, 1989, Ireland) | 1928 (spawned sometime in year 14 AD, unknown location)
Gender: Female | asexual, prefers female hosts and considers self female, but will not get mad if referred to as male while in a male host.
Sex: Yes, please.
Appearance: Neither thin nor thick, Astridh is in remarkably good shape for someone her age. As she has been a Tok’ra host for the past six years, she looks considerably younger than her twenty-five years. For this reason, she has at times had trouble with soldiers ranked below her not believing her rank. Physical prowess (a good, formal thrashing) has convinced them otherwise.
While her hair is pale golden blond and is typically tied back to be out of the way, her eyes are cold blue. She has the pale skin common to those of norse descent. She keeps her hair cut relatively short, but long enough to easily tie back.
As clothes go, she either wears a functional uniform or a shipboard jumpsuit, both with appropriate insignia.
Astridh is 158.3 cm tall.

Reason chosen for Tempest: Skill. She has proven remarkably skilled for her age, both as a soldier and as an officer. Her loyalty to the royal navy has been found to be without flaw. There is nothing on earth that could cause her to betray it.
Personality:
As Tok’ra, Astridh/Eydis has a complex personality. There are traits common to them both, traits only one has, and even some things they do not agree upon. While Eydis could have forced Astridh here, it goes against every belief she holds.

They are both very private and do not share much about themselves, preferring to keep quiet. While Eydis can be a bit social, Astridh has never been all that comfortable in disorderly crowds. Unlike most Tok’ra, they avoid, for obvious reasons, using the distinctive Symbiote voice trick.
The three primary goals they both have are simple:
- They seek to save the Tok’ra from extinction
- They want Eydis’ presence to remain a secret.
- They wish to do as good a job in the Royal Navy as they possibly can, so long as it does not interfere with the other two goals.

While fairly uncomfortable with Social reaction, they share an ability to focus utterly on a job, even if it is noisy around them, be it tactical planning, passing orders on to troops, treating injuries or reading books. Astridh is inherently against cruelty to others, whereas Eydis will at times be open to using whatever force she deems necessary, much to Astridh’s chagrin.

They are also very patient. They know that while it would be nice to complete the task quickly, sometimes patience is rewarding in itself. Naturally, like all Tok’ra, they both hate goa’uld, and are distrustful of any goa’uld that have gone over to the “good” side, demanding far more of them to prove their loyalty than most others will require. A few years of good behavior do not weight up for centuries of bad behavior.

So far as politics go, Astridh could not care overmuch. Her family, when they were still alive, never had a habit of caring much about who had political authority over whom. As a member of the navy, she prefers clear-cut chains of command. As such, she is not overfond of civilian posturing or civilian oversight. Eydis on the other hand, is fairly good at politics. She's been infiltrating goa'uld power structure on many occasions, manipulating events there and elsewhere. She might've been on the Tok'ra high council a few times, but she is not there now, nor has she been recently. As such, when it comes to politics, Astridh prefers to stay in the background.
Notes:
Astridh regularly takes a naquadah suppressor injection to hide Eydis from detection by other symbiotes or former hosts.
Nobody except the Tok'ra High Council knows she's Tok'ra.
Short Biography:

Deceit.

The Sith are infamous for it.

Thirteen centuries ago, the Sith were exterminated.
Everyone knew that.
The Sith Empire was crushed.
Nothing remained.
Korriban laid to ruin.
The republic was safe from them.

Forever.

Or so we thought.
Twenty-eight years ago,
we learned from that mistake.
The Sith Empire was not gone.
The Red Sith were not extinct.
They had simply been biding their time.

Overnight, half the galaxy was attacked.
Korriban retaken.
Our forces had no chance to hold against this attack on so many fronts.
We were not ready.

In time, after many systems had been lost,
our forces began to hold the line.
But we could not push the Sith back into the regions from whence they came.
We were pressed on too many fronts.

Decades of war ensued.
A whole generation grew up knowing only galactic war.
Knew nothing of peace.
No one saw an end upon the horizon.

Without warning, the Sith Empire offered peace.
The Jedi warned us that the Sith could not be trusted.
We did not listen.
We needed peace.
Without it, our armies would soon collapse.

The negotiations began on Alderaan.
They were not easy, for the Sith were demanding.
Then Coruscant dropped off the Grid.
One moment, it was linked directly to the holonet.
The next it was not.
Ships sent there, disappeared.

Soon it became clear.
We should have listened to the Jedi.
The Sith had, in the midst of peace negotiations,
struck straight at our Capital World.
They had conquered it.

Suddenly we found ourselves with a poor hand in the negotiations.
The Sith started dictating terms in return for Coruscant.
We had no choice.
We had to give in.

Not much later,
the treaty was signed.
Thousands of star systems had to be abandoned to their own fate.
Billions would be crushed under the armored boots of the Sith empire.
But Coruscant was freed.

The death toll was unimaginable.
Nobody knew how large it was.
The Coruscanti Jedi temple was destroyed.
A still-smoking ruin.
Like so much else of the ecumenopolis.

Scans began to search for any survivors buried in the rubble.
Many were found.
But most were dead.

There was but one problem.
There were bodies missing in the temple.
Dozens of bodies,
if not hundreds.

Where were they? Some asked.
Everyone knew the answer.
The Sith had taken captives.
Lots of captives.

Are you one of them? Or are you one of their Sith captors?
Come here if you think you might be.

This RP is currently recruiting. If you have a character in your soul that you want to unveil, then you can do that here.

Deceit

The Sith are infamous for it. The Jedi Knew not to trust them fully, but not even they were prepared for just how far the Sith Empire would go. Following decades of War, the Sith sued for peace. The Jedi were of the belief that the Sith were insincere, but the republic knew it had no choice. Alas it came to be seen that the Sith were indeed devious. Right in the middle of the peace talks on Alderaan, they sent a fleet in covert to the republic capital of Coruscant, capturing it and holding it hostage, using it as a powerful tool in the negotiations.

Now the Peace treaty has been signed, the ecumenopolis returned to its owners. Republic estimates put the death tolls at over a hundred thousand from the mere three days the Empire held it. Though there is, for the first time in decades, peace in the galaxy, it has proven a bitter pill for many on both sides to swallow.

While the Sith know whom to blame among each other, things are not so clear in the republic. Some lay the blame at the feet of the republic high command, others at the recently reformed SIS. Others yet at the feet of the Galactic Senate. But more than any of these, people blame the Jedi, the very party that was hit the hardest in the sacking. The Jedi are not seen as saviors by the citizens of Coruscant. Some think that if the Jedi temple had not been there, then the Sith would not have struck them. The truth of this, like all other could-haves, is impossible to tell. But all of this is now history, and history cannot be altered.

The story that has not been told is that of the Jedi present in the Jedi temple on Coruscant. It is known that scores, if not hundreds, died. Though much of the outer shell of the temple, as well as the signature spires, was destroyed in the sacking, more yet remained intact. Computer records are clear on the number of Jedi present therein. however, these numbers do not even come close to matching those of the bodies found in the rubble and ruins. The difference is in the hundreds. Many are presumed to have been destroyed beyond recognition, but not that many.

The story here is about those who were not obliterated. The ones who were captured.

~|~

Four days have now passed since the Jedi were captured and imprisoned aboard the Sith transport Hâsk. They have by now one and all been exposed to various tortures the Sith can imagine. As yet, none of them have fallen to the Dark Side, though it has been close. Several have died, but most have persevered.

Commanded by the mysterious and powerful Darth Nyiss, the Sith are committed to their usual games of intrigue. Though some are already above the rank of apprentice, the matronage of Darth Nyiss is not an offer to be scoffed at. Her rules, much like the rules in the Korriban academy, forbid them from killing each other, while also forbidding them from killing any of their prisoners. The rules are absolute. Of course, when it comes to removing inconvenient obstacles (each other), a murder without evidence of who did it is no murder.

The question is as such:
Which are you?
Prisoner or Captor, Jedi or Sith?

Jump over to the IRC and reveal the truth.
Or are you afraid to reveal it?
